I got 6 quotes from companies that had good reviews on Google and Hammond was the cheapest by far. Mike Hammond and his crew know what they are doing and have all the right equipment to get the job done as efficiently as possible. They used a crane, set outside of my fence, to remove 2 huge willows that were in my backyard. They cut entire tree branches one at a time, lifted them over my house and chopped entire 10-20 ft branches in their wood chipper. Then cut the entire trunk and lifted that over the house. It was amazing to watch. They arrived early before the 8:30 am scheduled time, chopped down 2 giant willows, felled a huge pine tree and brush hogged a large field all before noon. Additionally, they were all very polite, respectful of my property and cleaned up the mess like they weren’t even there.

Showed up on time and did a great job. Removed a large birch tree that was too close to our home and several other smaller trees. Ground all stumps and cleaned up very well. I would hire them again.

Follow up...Hired them again for a much larger tree removal job...96 Silax trees that lined our property line. Silax trees grow very fast but only live around 20 years. Most of the trees has begun to die and were dropping limbs, branches and debris. Some were completely dead. Hammon Tree Service removed all 96 trees, ground the stumps, removed ALL debris and even leveled all the ground where trees has been removed. I could not be happier with their service!

Hammon is best tree service in Medina County - highly responsive, very knowledgeable; has all the heavy-duty equipment required to handle very large trees. They saved a very old maple tree by crown pruning - tree has since revived!. They will also say NO when you ask them to do something stupid - tree wise. They responded same day after 60mph winds took down multiple trees, then worked on-site for 2 days.
