Marcus and his team did a great job replacing a walkway in our backyard along with installing a patio for a fire pit. Additionally, he installed plants through our front and back beds as well as installed river rock to help with water management. I have worked with Marcus before and always found him a good communicator. He and his team are here when they say they are going to be and don’t leave a mess when they are done. Marcus is a high integrity business owner. I would recommend him to anyone looking for landscape design and installation.

We've used Marcus for several jobs on our property and I can't say enough good things about his work. Timely,professional, easy to work.with and affordable. Would highly recommend. We plan to use him on several other upcoming projects as well.

We selected Lasting Impressions Landscape & Design after receiving several bids from larger and more prominent area landscaping companies. Our decision was based on a combination of price, reviews, pictures on their website from previous jobs, and the responsiveness of the owner, Marcus. We could not be happier with our decision!
Marcus took the time to walk through the space and create, from my basic ideas, a design that just blew us away. His crew was fantastic, friendly, hardworking, and it is evident by their work that they share Marcuse’s passion for landscaping. Marcus and his team did outstanding work and created a space that is beautiful, peaceful, functional, yet visually solid and strong.

I could not be happier with the work of Marcus and his team! From the initial quote, to the first day of work - Marcus was very communicative and you could feel his excitement for the job. I felt like the entire process was tailored to make our home look its best. Marcus did an amazing job of explaining each plant and how to care for our new landscaping. I am so excited to see this new scape bloom and mature!

Unfortunately, my experience with this company was not what it appears others experienced. I truly wish it had been, as I spent years saving for the project and wanting an outdoor space my daughters and I could enjoy before they leave home.

The project involved a small side patio and walkway. It took nine months to complete. I spent over the original estimate and I was willing to compromise as much as possible, even paying more upfront before the work was complete to appease the company. The pavers that were delivered - not the fault of the contractor - did not match what was in the showroom. The contractor agreed that they didn't match and told me that this had happened with the same paver order for previous clients, but they hadn't noticed and decided not to point it out. He advised that the pavers still on pallets could be returned and that the new pavers I was choosing were less expensive, so it would be a fair trade in terms of price for the extra labor. It was not, and I was only told after the fact. This was very early on in the process.

After that time, I consulted another landscaping company that I had originally engaged with for a quote. They claimed that any reputable contractor would have a relationship with the supplier and such issues (which can happen) would be resolved without having such a delay and expense to the homeowner.

Regardless, in the end I have a patio of mismatched pavers, no landscaping and my yard torn up from the machinery. Admittedly, I did cut ties in communication at the end because it got exhausting, over $30,000 spent, I simply wanted them to finish what they were willing to do and move on.

One more note, I did have to walk the area and dispose of many cigarette butts and paper cups/food litter left behind by the workers. I might've been more annoyed by that than necessary, but it says something about the level of professionalism.

Marcus and his team went above and beyond to make our home landscaping look beautiful!! I would highly recommend him and will be using him again in the future.

Marcus made an overwhelming project stress-free with his great design ideas, communication, timeliness and hard work. Marcus and his team members are enjoyable people and take pride in the work they do -- and it shows! We will be contacting Marcus to design and install the next phases of our project.

Marcus and the team at Lasing Impressions Landscape and Design were simply amazing. Early on I could tell that we'd been in good hands with how responsive Marcus was both on the phone, as well as text and especially e-mail. After coming onsite, he had a virtual 3D rendering of what we talked within just a few days! And as you can see from the pictures, this project was massive. They took a barren landscape and transformed it into what several in my family have called a castle - and it feels that way! The landscaping will come next but I couldn't wait to share that if you're at all considering a landscape project, you need to call these guys first. Professional, courteous, thorough, responsive and honest. On that last point, just to showcase what a class act this team is, we had multiple construction crews at our house for multiple weeks. Someone accidentally ran into our basketball pole. When I asked Marcus, he immediately offered to make it right, buy a new hoop for us and install it - and it turns out it was the other crew! You can trust Marcus and his team to put your concerns first for any project of any size. We will be using them again, though hopefully on smaller projects in the future :-)

From Marcus’s prompt response to my initial contact through completion, working with Lasting Impressions Landscape and Design has been the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had with a home contractor. I initially found them online while searching for help with the backyard of my “new to me” home. The property had been neglected for over 30 years, with serious drainage issues from water running down the hill and pooling around the back of the house.
Marcus not only presented a practical solution for the drainage problems but also created a stunning design for my very challenging landscape. From start to finish, Marcus and his crew were professional, patient, and incredibly helpful as we made decisions on finishes and details. He was also very mindful of staying within our budget, which we greatly appreciated.
The end result is beyond what I imagined—our backyard is now a space we truly love. Beyond impressed every step of the way. From day one, Marcus had
clear and frequent communication that was better than any contractor we've worked with. He was never pushy during the decision making process and I genuinely felt as though customer-satisfaction was more important than pushing me to sign a contract. The computer rendering of the project really helped us visualize what the finished product could be.

The Job.
Our project was large for a backyard and was slated to take 2-3 weeks, start to finish. Everyday Marcus discussed the day's plans with us and made himself available throughout the day for questions. The kindness of this team is second to none. Marcus, Bill, and Hayden never missed an opportunity to wave or fist bump my young kids who loved watching the project unfold. The project finished well ahead of schedule, which we were grateful for. We appreciate the reassurance that they're available if we have future issues or questions.

Truly cannot thank them enough for the passion they showed on this project, and for how kind they were towards my family during the job.

If I could give 10 stars out of 5 I would. Marcus and his guy did amazing. I live out of town and hired them for my parents flower beds. I had very specific requests and within 24 hours he had already been by the house to give me a quote. I am very demanding. I gave him less than a week to get the job done and he delivered with a smile! And on a holiday weekend I might add. Communicates very well and quickly by text or phone! The whole thing from start to finish was a breeze. Would def recommend them to anyone and will FOR SURE be using them again. Enjoy the before and afters.
