Visiting Oak Park Garden Center is a treat my kids and I look forward to every Spring! With all the beautiful waterfall and pond displays, the Koi, and the gorgeous plants all around, it feels more like a relaxing walk through a beautiful park than a shopping trip. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. We have been visiting for many years and it's always an amazing experience!

We stopped to get tadpoles for our fish pond. They had a good supply of large bullfrog tadpoles. We then ended up buying a small koi for our pond because of the colors. They had a good selection of koi and fish in various price ranges. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The lady I met there had to be the friendliest and most helpful person I've ever met. I didn't know what I was gonna get when I got there and she literally walked me through the entire place personally. My fish tank is now set up with some of the plants and rocks she sold me and I couldn't be happier

Purchased koi for our established koi pond. Two of four died within 3 days. Called immediately & told “we’ve had a lot of calls about koi dying…” instructed to put in freezer until we could bring them in. When we brought them in were met with one argument after another & then offered gold fish replacements for the $30/ea koi. I should have referred back to the first comment they made when I called. That statement says it all. Will stick with Pond Guys; koi shipped & never lost a one.
8/9/25 - THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT RIGHT.

This place has everything you need for creating a koi pond in your back yard! From the fish, to the plants, chemicals and knowledge. Adrianna helped us out, she explained everything so well, she knows her stuff! Shout out to her, we will definitely be back because of her!! I can't wait to get started on my pond and come get hooked up by Oak Park.

Oak Park is the water garden expert in NW Ohio. They will help you design a waterscape for your yard/property and they have beautiful and unique plants for landscaping in and around your pond. They have plenty of windmills and yard art to add interest to your landscape. Richard can work within your budget to design something perfect for you. And they will do it all or sell you everything for a DIY project. They will troubleshoot if you are having problems with fish or pond plants, and they sell a large variety of fish for your pond.

Place is amazing!! It provides so many items of so many different ideas. Fairy gardens, hanging baskets, yard ornaments, ornamental plants, indoor outdoor garden decorations, perennials, annuals, ALL pond necessities including treatments and pumps. I could go on and on. Sarah and Claudia are amazing! I highly recommend taking a trip to Oak Park and getting lost for a couple hours just looking at everything that is to offer. Guarantee you won’t leave empty handed.

    Update:
I went back with my three-year-old and we explored around back of the building a little bit and found a really cool play structure! If I ever go back with him I'm going to schedule an hour of hang out time into our day because this place is so fun!!

    Original post:
I came in for fish pond supplies, and the woman there who helped us was very knowledgeable and courteous. I also enjoy that she approached us as soon as we came in, instead of us looking around for a while not knowing what to do. I will definitely go back there for all of my fish pond supply needs in the future.

I used to come here allllll the time as a kid. I was in the area yesterday with my friend and we stopped in, this place is just as good as I remember. The house plant selection is amazing, and I bought the biggest pink princess I've ever seen. They also have some extra friendly cats. Prices were reasonable. The pink princess is mature and growing up a pole and it was $30 after their 25% off houseplants discount. For the record, I absolutely did NOT need this plant and don't have the space for it. But I will make space 🤣🤣

Wouldn’t hire him to rake my leaves

I highly recommend Norm and his team! He responded to my request for a quote within 24 hours, offered a fair price, and had a team out within a few days of our initial conversation. They weeded a large area in front of my house, relocated a few bushes to spread them out (so they looked better), and put mulch down. Great experience!

Though This company and its owner Norm purport to be landscapers, I wouldn’t hire them to rake my leaves. I don’t write reviews, but in this case, I must warn people about this company. Far from qualified landscaper, Norm is a vandal and a fraud. Just my opinion.

I hired Petal Pushers Landscaping to help me put my back yard in order after a guy I hired to build a patio left behind a giant mound of dirt and yards and yards of gravel and screed. The job was simple, if not labor intensive - remove the gravel and screed, spread out the dirt mound, add topsoil and seed.

In April, he collected half the agreed payment. Two or so weeks later, he showed up for another 25%. But having paid him 75% of the costs, he had not started work in early May when I told him I was going to start the project on my own. He begrudgingly showed up on the following Monday with a kid off the street who did not know which end of a shovel to hold (no offense to him).

Norm, quite obviously mad at having to perform his agreed services, throwing all of the gravel and screed into my yard and mixing it up with the dirt, threw some grass seed haphazardly on top and left...and took MY shovel with him! He also destroyed my drain by running it over with his tractor. When I called Norm out on the rocks in my yard and his failure to remove the gravel and screed, the kid said, “I wondered why he told me to throw the rocks in the yard.” Yeah, kid, me, too.

Now, three full days of raking the rocks out of the yard, and hauling out the gravel and screed myself (and I’m not done yet), I’m going to have to hire someone else come in (if I can find someone) and finish the job he agreed to do.

What this guy did to me was criminal in my opinion. I am warning you with peace and love, hire this guy at your own risk.

Hired Norm to replace a failing U -shaped retaining wall with railroad ties. On day 3 we alerted Norm to the side wall not being square with front wall or perpendicular to driveway and requested the fix. He tried to blame it on the driveway and sidewalk not being square (they are), then the material. He would not fix without charging us more to redo his poor work. My husband had to spend his whole Sunday redoing the wall so it was correct. We do not recommend Norm.

Scott and his team do a great job! I use them for landscaping and snow removal
