The worst company ever to deal with and worst system ever. Please be advised if you are even considering using these guys, do your self a favor and don’t. Two years 11 attempts at correcting problems and still can’t drink my water. Every time it’s something we are doing and not their equipment. Will not refund or remove their stuff. You have been warned.

    Buyer beware

Sales woman (Jenna) came to my home to give demo. After also giving a pitch for renovations which I'd never asked for, she came up with a figure for the softener and RO system of $6,000 (almost double the amount for the same service and products I received from a competitor after the fact). After explaining I needed to get a few other quotes, she came down to under $3,750 after several attempts to haggle which was a red flag. I called 2 days later to take her up on her quote. I asked about financing options and figured it was worth a shot. I had just purchased a new home and boat so unfortunately I had to much revolving credit at the time of inquiry. Now, here's the major problem: Jenna ran 2 hard checks on my credit while over the phone with me and, once we decided I would just pay debit up front, she came back to my home that day and I was then told I'd have to have a plumber come out and "up my well tank pressure" before they would install a water softener. When I questioned the logic behind increasing the tank pressure, she phoned her installer who then simply explained he wouldnt install with a shallow well. Jenna had taken all the metrics down that she needed when she made her initial visit, she was also made explicitly aware at that time that this was indeed a shallow well. Why was I not notified that they would be unable to service my current setup before she ran 2 hard checks on my credit? I understand the want to close a deal, but at my expense? I've called Leaf several times since to rectify and not once has anyone reached back out to assist. This may be why names such as Waterboy and Culligan prevail. It just may be, they are the more honest, viable option. Leaf, please touch base so we can rectify.

Leaf installed a system in my house that was supposedly going to make my water indistinguishable from bottled water. After about a month my water stink like eggs. Would you believe I suddenly have sulfur in my water that they couldn’t detect just a couple months prior. Don’t worry says the tech, we’re going to fix this “at cost”. Salesman tells me that will be $3,000, or wait $2500, actually $2,450, or whatever at cost might be today. Hard to believe that’s “at cost” when their competitors are selling similar items for $1,200.

Also hard to believe that my fridge filter and $10 hose filter removes this odor when this top of line “hybrid filter” (according to their tech not even a filter just a softener, so who knows what I actually bought) from leaf apparently can’t.

Bottom line, feeling ripped off, and having trust issues with this company.

Leaf Home Water Solutions is a game changer in the world of water filtration. From the moment they installed their system in my home, I could immediately taste the difference in the water quality. The water was clearer, cleaner, and had a fresher taste.

Heidi with Leaf Home Water Solutions came to my home and was very helpful and provided top-notch service. Heidi answered my questions and walked me through my water quality results. What is different about Leaf Home Water Solutions is that they didn't have any aggressive sales tactics. This was a lot different as I had other companies who had previously provided me with a quote and were trying to pressure me into buying something. Heidi laid out several options based on the results of my water tests, and when I decided on a solution, she laid out the installation process and was able to get it installed that same day. I appreciated her attention to detail and commitment to providing the best customer experience.

I highly recommend Leaf Home Water Solutions to anyone looking to improve their drinking water quality. The system was installed quickly, and I already appreciate the noticeable impact on the taste of our water. Thank you, Leaf, for providing such a fantastic product!

Love my new system. I entered my information on the site and received a phone call a little while later. They were able to send out someone to go over everything and test my water the next day if I wanted. The appointment went awesome. They were awesome and honest and showed me the test results of my water and recommended a system that would work for me. They weren't pushy at all and made sure I knew what could help with making my appliances last longer. Once I made the decision to get the system installed they were able to come out the next day to install it. It was a pretty quick install. I love my new system. It's been about a month since it was installed. The water feels better and my skin is less dry with the new softener installed.

I would like to make this a very large negative number but that isn’t possible. My husband wanted a water treatment system that did not need salt as he is 88 years old and losing his strength. Our salesperson, Jason, told us their salt less system would give us the same or better water quality with their system and we would not need salt. Unfortunately, Jason had either not been trained well or was more interested in selling a system than being honest.

We purchased the system. The installer cut the line on our existing system before turning off the water. Before he could turn off the water, the garage, mudroom and utility room were flooded.

We live in a hard water area with bacterial iron. Within a week, hard water was evident again and we were seeing signs of bacterial iron again. I called the one and only phone number given on all documents which was to a call center. You cannot talk to anyone but the women in the call center. They email the appropriate people, then you wait for a call back. This call was answered within 24 hours and a service tech was sent out. After checking things out he told me that this system would not take care of hard water or bacterial iron. He also said under his breath that he would not have sold us this system.

Now the fun begins! I told them I wanted their system out and the financing reversed. I also called Wells Fargo which is the company they use for financing and told the rep that I was disputing the charges and explained why. It took a couple of calls to get them to remove the system then many more calls (including a call per day for a week) for someone to call me back (Michael Hines an operations manager). I had checked Wells Fargo and found the charges had been reversed before Mr Hines called me. I then asked him to reimburse me for the cost of replacing my former system. It took many more calls and emails to Mr Hines over a few weeks and a threat to go to the media before another person called me. Later that day this last person called me back and said they would not reimburse me for the costs of reconnecting my previous system. The amount I requested was less than 10% of the cost of their system that didn’t work as promised.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! LIES AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Leaf Home Water Solutions just finished installing my new system. Can’t wait to see how it performs. I can tell you as a former customer excellence consultant, their install team did a great job. I even tossed them a few curve balls and their response was always polite and respectful. And as promised, their white glove service left the area clean and neat. Special thanks to our sales person Heidi.

I like to wait a few months before sending a review. My system was installed in last August. I have well water and even with my existing softener had stains in the toilets and cloudy/stained dishes/glasses. I noticed a difference immediately after installing the new Leaf system. My dishes are now clear of any residue or stains! Showers feel great. No loss of water pressure. Would install it again.

Jeez, I really wish I would've read the reviews before purchasing this system. The salesman James from the Toledo office was just horrible!!!! He is a lair, he said some pretty horrible things to my husband. Definitely a case of defamation of character!!!! He was rude and disrespectful after we welcomed him into our home. DO NOT LET JAMES INTO YOUR HOME!!!!! I have tried several time to contact Leaf Home with the promise of a return call and I have heard nothing. The installers put a damaged picket in instead of ordering a new one and told me to contact office to have it replaced. That in my opinion is very unprofessional and lazy. I would never recommend Leaf home for any of their service. I will be calling Wells Fargo to see what can be done since I can't get any type of response from Leaf Home. Again people do not for your best interest get involve with this company.

The technician who came out and installed the system was amazing—very knowledgeable and a great guy. No complaints there at all. I was a little worried about a $300 annual payment to get the bulb and filter changed the ball roughly anywhere online would Anywhere around 120 the filter maybe 40-60 bucks So you’re talking $200 and I’m fine with that but I’m not gonna pay for somebody to come out and do something to them plenty of capable doing.

However, what I wasn’t told when purchasing the system is that you can only buy the UV bulb and key through Leaf Home Water Solutions, and they do not sell those parts directly to customers. They also failed to clearly explain that there is a $300 annual charge for the UV bulb and filter.

Last year, I didn’t realize this and wasn’t happy about it because I don’t want to deal with this every single year. I would much rather change the bulb and filter myself. Now the alarm is going off again for the annual UV bulb replacement, so when I called to schedule service, I was told I supposedly owe $600+, because they claim last year’s payment didn’t go through.

This is the first time I’m hearing about this. I don’t remember anyone reaching out to me. I received no emails, no notifications, no messages. I log into my account every month to make payments, and there is nothing there showing any missed payment or warning. Because of that, I’m not willing to pay $600+ for something I was never properly notified about.

This is especially frustrating considering the system cost around $8,000. On top of monthly payments, I’m expected to pay another $300 every year, buy salt, and still can’t even purchase the UV bulb or key myself unless I go through them. You also have to make sure the bulb and key are compatible with Leaf’s system, which is unnecessarily restrictive.

I’ve tried everywhere to find the LW-UV-15CRLS bulb and a compatible key on my own, with no luck. I even told them they could come take the system back—and they refused. So now I’m stuck paying for a system I don’t even want.

If I had been told upfront that I’d be required to pay $300 annually forever for maintenance I could easily do myself, I never would have purchased this system. They should be transparent and allow customers to buy the bulb, filter, and key directly. I don’t like paying for forced maintenance when I’m fully capable of doing it myself.

In my opinion, if you don’t want to pay an extra $300 every year on top of your monthly payments, this system is not worth it. I would recommend getting a water system that allows you to do your own maintenance without being locked into proprietary parts and service fees.

That’s my experience—others can decide what works best for them.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience learning about our home water. Everything was explained to us very thoroughly. Samuel was very knowledgeable and confident and helping us making the right step in having fresh clean water for our home.

Mr.Swope did an amazing job. He tested our water, showed the results to us and explained everything in great detail. He was able to answer all of our questions efficiently and without hesitation. He was very professional in how he conducted himself with us. We will definitely be purchasing a water softener system, from this gentleman.

Sam did an outstanding job thoroughly explaining the water test results and clearly walking through the logic behind the proposed solution. His ability to translate the technical data into a clear and understandable explanation was extremely helpful.

He demonstrated a strong command of the applicable standards and how they relate to the real-world application. Sam is clearly very knowledgeable and professional, and he represents your company extremely well. He is a great asset to your team.
