J&R was extremely great to work with! Their work on our Center's bathroom's were timely, professional and they went out of their way to meet our needs! The J&R team went out of their way to work around our hours of operation. The workers were respectful and our new bathrooms look great. In what was a stressful situation for our small nonprofit, J&R contracting made this a smooth process. Thanks to their whole team! I would recommend them to anyone!

Our roof at our ice cream store, Penguin Palace in Maumee took a direct windstorm hit on Saturday April 1st. We called J&R at 8am Sunday morning and a clean up crew was on site by 11am. J&R handled everything from beginning to end with professionals of all trades to get us back up and running. With the amount of damage and the building being so old built in 1947 an engineer had to get involved, and to my surprise it happened quickly. The project took 3 months to get completed which is understandable with the amount of work that had to be done but we couldn't be more happier with the outcome.

This was our first project with Blue Sky. The entire staff, especially our project manager Zach Stubbe, was highly professional and responsive to our questions/concerns. We enjoyed working with the Blue Sky team and look forward to working together on future projects!

These guys are superstars. I live in Sandusky and we were hit hard by storms this summer. The local companies were on a two week waiting list - if they were even answering phones. J & R completed the work and saved my basement from a complete gut job before the others companies could even send someone to assess the damage. Thanks J & R! Great work.

We are very happy with the restoration work which J&R Contracting did for us. Everyone from the company was knowledgeable, friendly and skillful. In particular, those who came to do the work in our house were very accommodating of our needs--which we really appreciated. The quality of the work which they did for us was outstanding. They worked hard to make sure that the finished product was what we were expecting. We're so pleased!

First off, let me assure you this is a legitimate review. The only reason I say this is that, based on our experience, I am astonished at some of the low reviews. Zach and his crew in Toledo have been nothing but spectacular. We live out of town, and our uncle in Toledo had passed away. He was unfortunately deceased in his house for about four weeks. This meant that a fair portion of the house had to have odor remediation which involved removing and replacing part of the flooring, cutting out and replacing the sub-floor, painting, duct cleaning, etc. Blusky also finished an incomplete kitchen remodel my uncle was in the middle of. Blusky came recommended to us by our Statefarm agent, and they did not dissapoint. They worked collaboratively with us through the whole process, finished ahead of schedule, and the work was high quality. Thank you Zach!

We recently had J&R repair a 4-inch hole in our roof and the interior ceiling. J&R was on time for their appointments and met our schedule. Dan did a thorough job on scoping and estimating the work. Justin did a great job on repairing the hole in the roof and matching the shingles before we received significant rain. Rick and Ricky also did a great job on repairing the interior ceiling hole in the drywall and matching the finish so that one could not tell where the hole had been. Charles then did a super job on painting the ceiling which was much better than the original paint finish. It was a pleasure to have these craftsman take pride in their work and do a superb job!

Fantastic people to work with! We needed some mold remediation done on our house, and a crew was out very quickly and got to work thoroughly cleaning every square inch of the affected areas. The crews were clean, courteous, and professional. Everything looks fantastic now and the air quality tests returned excellent results. I've heard a number of good stories from friends that have used their services as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Working with J&R was great. When I first called when we had water problems with our house they had an estimator out within the hour and the crew to do the mitigation was soon to follow. The crew they had show up was great. It is always nice having someone in your house working that you can see they are knowledgeable about how to take care of the issue. If you have any issues at your home please be sure to call them and get the same response and satisfaction that I did.

We had a house fire-We called Blue Sky to board up our house and they were there within 2hrs to board everything up. Zach has been very helpful and insightful on how to proceed with my insurance company-Once the inventory is complete I plan to have them do the restoration

if there was an option to give zero stars I would. we had a leak that ended up in our floors needing to be replaced and using blue sky. It was the most inconvenient thing and experience I have ever had. It took almost 10 months to get our floors done because of a mistake the sales person made. They didn’t attempt to takeoff any sort of discount and we were left with cardboard floors In our house for almost 3 months because when they came to do the job, they were unable to (we told the sales person about a slope in our floors and said that The floors we picked wouldn’t be a problem when in fact they were) do yourself a favor and go somewhere else any sort of project/restoration for your house

I am the Facilities Manager at Cherry Street Mission Ministries and we needed a wall built so that our head chef could have a private office space. I called Mike and he was incredibly generous in lining this work up for us. He had his framers in the following Thursday, they had the wall built, door frame installed, wall insulated and drywalled in 1 day! The following day the drywall finisher was out and had his work completed in a day. Our chef had a new office in 2 days time! J&R's work is phenomenal, they tied the new wall into an existing wall and matched the texture so perfectly it looks like the wall has always been there! The area they were working in was an active office space and they did a great job keeping the area clean and working around the staff. We have used J&R on many projects at our buildings, many of them very large projects, and never once have they let us down. Thank you J&R, I would recommend you 10 times out of 10! To top it all off every J&R employee that I have met has been incredibly professional and better yet, kind. Amazing company!

I appreciate the hard work performed by Abby and Cristal as they inventoried the contents of our home. They were very accommodating for my wife and me as we navigated this difficult time in our lives.

J&R Restoration has great office managers, amazing project coordinators, and friendly owners. Unfortunately they use the absolute worst crews to actually do the work in your home.

We need sewage clean up for our ceiling from a damaged pipe. The clean up crew put not drop clothes down, no towels, no protection for our hardwood floors or floor air vents of any kind, and dumped sewage water into the entire living room. After I called the manager, he apologized and said that is not how it should have been done, and had them clean it for a couple hours. On their way out, they knocked over a ladder and put a gouge in the floor. The clean up crew was completely unprofessional and made a bad problem so much worse. They were willing to fix some issues but after so many issues due to poor quality work crews you feel like it is better to not have them in your home again.

Trying to get on the schedule to have drywall installed took forever to the point of run a round.

Coordination with the insurance company was a nightmare. They asked for $1000 up front before ever speaking with an adjuster, something my adjuster told me should NEVER happen.

They had us drive all the way out to Waterville to sign the check over to them which seemed weird and was a hassle, like everything else in dealing with this company.

They are great on the phone, they are lovely in person, everything is great except their work crews and quality of service.

Zack and the team at Blue Sky were prompt, efficient and professional. They worked with my schedule, and took care of final cleanup even though I was out of town. I would recommend them to someone who needs this emergency response service.

If I could leave a zero star I would leave them that. We had our septic back up into our basement they came out to spray and drop off air cleaner fans but left feces in my bathroom and back bedroom and family room for weeks (3-4) finally came to start removing items that was in the feces and water but I ended up helping out taking my son's bed apart getting charged for it bagging up clothes from dresser getting charged for it and not getting money back for those clothes because those clothes weren't notified in claim his Pokémon books were in a storage crate next to dresser so they got wet they said they could try to clean them my son collected Pokémon cards for years and had 5 books in that crate that they took and when we got his books back they were gone through and pages empty multiple pages empty they helped themselves to my son's Pokémon cards and stole them from him I'm so ashamed of this company. We had to hire someone else because job wasn't getting done and he noticed they didn't spray properly Go Figure.. We had to talk to the president of BluSky to get things right and he apologized for the fact my son got his cards stolen from him and how we were treated

Recently our upstairs bathtub drain disconnected from the tub, and our entire (very large) bathtub drained into our kitchen ceiling. That went about as well as anyone could expect and it was raining in my kitchen. The entire ceiling collapsed, the insulation was all soggy, the lighting over my counters got soaked. It even drained down an HVAC Vent and wall into the basement where all of our storage is. It could not have been a bigger mess.

Jerilyn and Drew from BluSky saved the day. They had people out to our house immediately. Drew worked really well with Alex our insurance adjuster to get things handled for us. We didnt have to worry about it at all. Every team member and crew we had out to our house was really excellent at their work. The drywall repairs were seamless, the trim perfect and the painters - wow, blew me away. everyone was so nice too. I was suprised at how quickly my house was put back together. Jerilyn checked on us the whole time too to make sure everything was going well.

Great experience given the disaster we had here!

I had a pipe burst that leaked a lot of water in my basement. Rob came out the same day I contacted him and gave me a quick and professional assessment. He provided great advice and devised a lan to fix the issue. I am highly satisfied with how Rob assisted me with my issue. If I have any future issues, I will definitely give BluSky a call and I would highly recommend their services.
