We had the utmost pleasure of working with Tomaro construction in re-finishing our back patio. Al and his team were completely professional and answered all questions that came about with out hesitation. Their ability to customize, design and offer their professional opinion was truly a delight in working with them. We selected a stamped concrete design with a edge border finish and they aided in selecting a colors that to us defines true craftsmanship. They removed all previous concrete and brick lay from our old patio and cleaned up accordingly. Will most definitely work with them in the future and highly recommend

We hired Tomaro Construction to design and install a new stamped concrete patio with a fire pit. Al Caserta promptly replied to our request for proposal, visited the site twice to do design and layout, and was exceptionally helpful in choosing materials and colors. The work was done promptly and efficiently by a crew of professionals who respected our property took pride in the quality of their work. The finished product exceeded our expectations and was delivered on time at a very reasonable price. I would hire Tomaro again for any concrete work we need.

The first time we had concrete work done, we got multiple quotes etc. Tomaro was the best price, and based on the glowing reviews we opted to go with Tomaro. Al & son installed a large concrete driveway almost 2 years ago. It's held up to the weather beautifully. It's slopped perfectly so that rain & melting snow flow/drains down the driveway and onto the street.

Update August 2024
Al and his crew came back this summer for my driveway. They ripped out a crumbling asphalt driveway to install a new cement one. The work was tidy, professional , skilled, and priced competitively. My driveway is gorgeous and they were even able to hand roll a curb to save a small garden wall for me. I would recommend Tomaro construction without hesitation to anyone needing concrete work- these guys are true artists and the pride they take in their work shows.

We hired Tomaro to do a stamped concrete patio and another concrete pad that will eventually house a hot tub. They did an amazing job. The work looks stunning and they were pleasant throughout. They were great at communicating as well. I would recommend them without apprehension.

We hired Tomaro Construction Co to install our stamped concrete, firepit, sewer drain lines, columns, and a side apron. The project turned out better than we expected. We highly recommend Al and his crew. They did a great job. Thank you Al, you’re an artist with concrete!

We had a stamped patio, firepit and sidewalk installed in mid June of this year. Everything looked great and was very happy. A few weeks ago I noticed a large crack on firepit cap. Contacted Al the owner and he responded in a couple days. Told us his salesman was on vacation and he was going on vacation that weekend. Said he would be out either the next week or week after that to assess and fix the firepit. It’s now almost end of second week and firepit still not fixed or scheduled to be fixed. You really find out what kind of company you’re dealing with when issues arise. Hopefully this review or last email I sent will prompt a response. Very sad to spend thousands of dollars on firepit and it has a huge crack after only a few months. Will update with outcome of this situation.
Update 10/12
Al responded back informing us he is waiting for a new cap from the supplier. That’s the reason for the delay in getting the firepit fixed. Once fixed I will send another update.
Update 10/28
Al informed us last week the supplier informed him the cap on our firepit was made with materials not able to withstand the heat of a wood burning firepit, which caused the crack. Only a gas firepit. Al made us a new cap and replaced the cap on Saturday 10/26. I’m very happy he followed through and fixed our firepit. This is why I changed my rating. We love our stamped patio, firepit and sidewalk Tomaro installed for us.

Tomaro Construction was one of the best we have hired for any home improvement project. We hired them to install a new stamped concrete patio off our deck including a path to the driveway, a hot tub pad, and preparing a firepit area with a gas line for a custom firepit we are building (not yet completed in our pictures).

We can't say enough good things about Al, the owner, who was on-site and working alongside his crew every step of the way, often doing most of the heavy lifting himself. When everything was being laid out we decided to make a few modifications on the fly and Al cheerfully met all of them.

It was clear immediately that he runs a first class operation. I was impressed with both the speed and precision of the work. From the day we broke ground to the finished product was just 7 days.

Al is a true craftsman, a skill that is becoming a rarity. His attention to every detail was impeccable - from ensuring the grass was covered and protected so the yard was not destroyed, to literally checking every section of the finished product on his hands and knees at 7pm with a file to ensure perfection.

The result is a beautiful patio space we will enjoy for many years and knowing it was built to a high standard of excellence.

If we have a need for future concrete work here or at another property, Al and Tomaro Construction will be the only one we call.
