have a issue with my yard they came out instead of trying to sell me something gave me advice on what to do first and then go from there very professional

When I called for service they were very responsive and polite. They came out sooner than expected and did a very thorough job!

Lawn was hydro seeded in May. Workers left ruts and tracks in the mud as they were applying the seed. Lots of bare spots and weeds in the yard.

One word-AWESOME!! The 5 star team did a fantastic job, I was absolutely flabbergasted by the job they did for me. My gardens were a bit unruly, to say the least, and they made them look so neat and manicured...just perfect. I can't wait to have them come back again. Heidi was very helpful when I met with her. This was my first time using a landscaping service, so I was a bit nervous regarding the cost, but I found them to be affordable and worth every penny. I love coming home every day and seeing how beautiful it looks. It's only been a week, and I have already gotten so many compliments.

Work crew that came out and cleaned out my raised flower beds around my house and replaced it with river rock. Very professional workers were amazing. worked nonstop to get the job done in the time frame quoted very happy. would recommend them to everyone. And the price was great

Spring of 2024, Five Star was contracted to revitalize a much neglected lawn by previous owners. Top soil was added, holes were filled and back fill was added along foundation of the home. The areas were seeded and topped with a net straw blanket that was described as “biodegradable”. The crew had to return to add more soil and seed in areas that didn’t grow.
The crew supervisor attempted to communicate with an all Hispanic immigrant crew but when she wasn’t around, communication with the crew was impossible. They were very hard working but if they couldn’t understand my expectations nor hers for that matter, then they just did their own thing.
Forward to this spring, half of the backyard has no grass growing, the so called “biodegradable” netting is coming up everywhere and Five Star is refusing to take any responsibility. The supervisor told me it was my fault because I declined to fertilize the area because of dogs. When I asked about being told the netting was “ biodegradable “, she quickly replied that the straw part is but not the netting. No offer was made to take up the Non - Biodegradable netting that is left all over the backyard.
I would not recommend this company because they do not back their services/product.
Update:
After a great deal of persistence and patience; Garrett agreed to send a crew to remove the netting this afternoon. The last two photos are what I’m left to deal with after the crew removed at least 3 heaping wheel barrows full of netting. Bottom line; the lawn is in worse condition than what they started with last spring. Grayson apologized on behalf of the company he works for.

They trimmed some shrubs for me. Very personable and professional.

Kyle cleaned out and installed rock on the steep side of our home and did a great professional job.
