I called Whempy's for an estimate for a replacement steel chimney liner after a crack was discovered in the original clay liner.
* Their estimate was over 1k less than the competition
* On time both for the estimate and service work
* Clean and professional
* The tech didn't realize the estimate included a new door for the ash cleanup. I pointed this out and it was promptly fixed the next day with no issues at all.
* The tech asked if I had any questions and were very friendly
* The tech liked my catI'll be using Whempy's for my future chimney sweep needs.

We called this company per recommendation. The dispatcher did not listen to our request for a technician to come out & inspect our water heater exhaust flue within our chimney. They sent a chimney sweep out to clean our fireplace chimney which was not needed. He was there several minutes to ascertain that this was outside the scope of his services & asked that we call Whempy's office again & schedule a service call. They still charged close to $100 for this house visit. Very unprofessional. We will not recommend Whempy's to any of our contacts.
