We got a quote because our AC went out on the hottest day of the year. We were going through our home warranty so we had to ask them to do a detailed quote to our warranty company. They sent us a quote that totaled approximately 7,850. We hoped it could be fixed soon because we have a son with a medical condition and being too hot can trigger his seizures. We got everything squared away with the home warranty and it was time to schedule our AC repair. The week the repair was going to take place, AC&H did a bait and switch and sent us a new quote for 11,000 saying the first one was “just an estimate.” Now we have to start the entire process over again with our warranty and a new company that quoted us right around the 7,800 quote with no added surprise charges. We will not recommend AC&H to anyone. They should be ashamed to treat customers this way and because of their actions, we are going on 3 weeks with no air conditioning in July.
