My experience was fantastic. Huge oak tree in my yard, quoted by 3 other tree removal companies. Bob's price was dramatically lower than the others, and I was cautiously optimistic that I wouldn't regret accepting his bid, and he shared his insurance cert at my request. Three strong and skilled crew arrived at the agreed time with specialized equipment, and had the tree gone and stump ground in about 3 hours. Wrote him the check afterwards. Very impressed.

Called for an estimate on trimming back two holly trees in my backyard. Guy shows up, tells me it'll $200 but it'll be a couple of weeks because he is busy. Guy leaves, never comes back, doesn't call, never hear from him again. I called again and left a message. Guy never returns my call. Poor way of doing business.

Ben cut down two trees for us and trimmed 4 others. He provided excellent service, cleaned up all the debris and charged us less than the original quote. We'll definitely use him again.

EDIT: Unfortunately I must change my review for Ben’s tree service. After the first time he came by to trim our trees, he told me he would come by again to trim some of neighbors trees over the fence in the backyard and quoted me a price. Time moves on and I continue to check up with him to see when he will be able to come by. Multiple ignored texts and voicemails later, I’m being completely blown off. I’m on a time crunch with having to cut the tree limbs above where we will be setting up the pool. I send him one final text, after weeks of trying to get a reply or a call-back (I did get one text basically saying “I’ll get there when I get there”) telling him I don’t know why the service I’m getting now from him is completely different from the raving reviews I sent him all over the internet. He calls me immediately telling me he is too busy, has too many big jobs, and doesn’t have time to stop by and help me like he repeatedly said he would. He even completely stood me up one day when he said he would be in my neighborhood to come by and work on it. I waited all day on him (not wanting to text and check in as to not piss him off or get ignored again). He also tells me over the phone that basically my reviews online don’t matter and won’t affect him because he operated on “word of mouth”. He tells me “you go ahead and leave me a bad review, I don’t care.” ... long story short, even though he does do good work (if you can get him to return your calls) I wouldn’t hire Ben again if my life depended on it. No matter how cheap he is or how good his work is. This is very poor business practice, ZERO professionalism, and so smug and conceited. Straight up d-b. I want to spend my money for someone who CARES about EVERY customer. Not just the high-paying ones.

A beautiful Bradford pear tree did what Bradford pear trees are known for. A huge branch snapped in the wind. I called Dave based on Google reviews. They came out right away…and had everything cleared out in about 10 minutes. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Super family and they do great work. Called to have a tree removed and he did the whole thing in an afternoon. I would definitely do business with again.
