Star Lawn - Concrete

Decided to have the damage they caused assessed before leaving a review. I had a patio extension, front porch, retaining wall and fence put in. They completely destroyed my sprinklers and refused to fix them. Rerouting the sprinklers was part of the deal they did not uphold. They were supposed to reroute the sprinklers that were being deleted by the concrete work, but never did. I got an estimate to fix the sprinkers and its going to cost $3,000.

A section of the concrete cracked within 2 days. They cemented a lid for my sprinker electrical system and didn't do the drainage/gutters properly. Instead of the gutters going under the concrete, the water flows over the top of the concrete and shouldn't. They did not resaw the area of grass they destroyed with their backhoe and they broke a section of the sidewalk and refused to fix it.

They ran out of blocks for the retaining wall and cut what they had left and it looks bad, not matching the rest of the wall. Owner said he had to spend some of his own money adding an extra $600 ontop of the price but offered no receipts for proof. Definitely do not recommend. Oh and before any work was started, I mentioned his ad from the mailer we all recieve in the mail which states a 10% off coupon. He never factored that in either.
