Reviews of local pros in Moore, Oklahoma

We thought we had a leak in our shower. I looked on Google for a reputable plumber and found Guss Construction. The company has an A+ rating with the BBB so I decided to try them. Mr Guss picked up the phone, listened to my issue, and came out the next day. He determined what the issue was and thankfully, it was not a leak but buildup in the showerhead. He clean out the showerhead and then he even checked out sink faucets and cleaned them too. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and explained the issue in detail. He even recommended another service provide to clean out thankless water heater since we didn't know who to call. I highly recommend Guss Construction and will most definitely use them again with my plumbing issues. Thank you Mr Guss!! We truly appreciate you!

Guss remolded both of our bathrooms and did a great job. Always courteous and always on time. A week after he was done, we had a little issue, which had nothing to do with his work. Anyways, I called him to ask him for advice and he showed up and helped me out! He didn’t have to, but he did with a smile! Great job Guss...I would recommend him to anyone!

What can I even say?! There are so many things I could put on here but I’ll just hit the highlights. Guss was SO HELPFUL throughout our whole garage conversion process. At one point we tried to save money by finding our own electrician and it turned into a nightmare situation and Guss helped us through it instead of being frustrated with us! He was a huge resource for us at that time and felt more like a friend. He always kept his word on timelines and worked so fast. His crew was phenomenal and all were so kind to our kiddos running around during construction. Guss answered his phone/texts within 5 minutes just about every time I texted him (even once when he was under a house!) and yet somehow I don’t think I ever saw him on his phone while he was doing our work. We were truly so blessed to find him and to have him help us with our project. He’s a solid guy with tons of knowledge, compassion, and kindness. We will be using him in the future for anything else we might need.

My wife and I moved out here from Colorado in August and we have a long list of renovations that we want to do on our new house to make it our own. We contacted a couple of other contractors but were unable to get the work done either because of the price or the within the timeframe that we wanted. Luckily my wife found Gus! He responded to our phone call very quickly and was out at our home the next day to give us an estimate and help us navigate the process. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give us advice on the remodeling that we wanted to get done. He started the project within a couple of days and him and his crew worked hard to get the job done quickly and to our satisfaction. They knocked down two interior walls, moved the plumbing and electrical to new spots, tiled the floor in the new area, and even added a 30 amp plug for our RV. We are already working with him on our next project which is replacing our kitchen counter tops! We like how nice, honest, prompt, and knowledgeable that Gus and is whole crew were and we will be using him on all of our home renovation needs in the future. Thanks for everything Gus!

Guss listen to what we wanted to do to this small bathroom. Guss and his team are well knowable. They kept me updated on process from the time they started to the finished. They was always on time. Guss had ideas that we haven't taught ,that made it look better. We have friends and family that said how amazing the bathroom look. We will be using Guss for future projects.

Guss did an excellent job on her bathroom replacing our 46 year old tile surrounding bathtub and shower. He was fast and affordable. I highly recommend him.

We had a great experience on our bathroom repair/remodel with Guss & his team from start to finish! The bathroom is not only safe to use now, but it looks stunning. The guys were prompt, professional, and Guss always kept us aware of any issues.

Guss has done several projects for us and has done a phenomenal job! His prices are very fair and he’s always been very professional and respectful to me and my family. Guss also redid work that a previous contractor had done a sloppy job on. I highly recommend Guss. It’s hard to find reliable and good contractors these days. Guss will be there and he will do the job right. I’m very happy with him.

Guss Construction did an amazing job transforming our outdated kitchen into a beautiful spacious room. New cabinets, flooring, pantry and arranging a better flow. They also continued the flooring into the living room added a ceiling beam and new fireplace mantle. Guss wants his customers happy and will do what it takes to get it done. Gerardo was amazing with his wood working abilities, making cabinets and multiple things on site. Guss has a great team that will give you what you want. We are very happy.

Guss is a very good all around guy. He goes above and beyond, he requests payments in a reasonable time frame. He is not a throw it in type of contractor. If there was something I had missed in the framing or something else, he would repair without an hassle. He would send pictures/videos of progress and worked late as he needed. His company offers a reasonable warranty as well.

Guss and his team was absolutely fantastic and a pleasure to work with!! Guss and I discussed the ideas I had in mind for a covered patio and with a couple of pictures to go by Guss was able to turn our dreams into reality. He truly cares about what you need and went above and beyond to make it happen. Great customer service, fair pricing and completed the job in a timely fashion. I highly recommend Guss and his experience team for your project.

Guss and his crew did an amazing job on my investment property. They went above and beyond on everything they did. The work I had done includes: bathtub replacement with new tile to include install of a niche and grab bars, indoor painting, fence repair, and electrical work in my garage. The price was also very reasonable for as much work that I had done. I’ve already told several people what a great job Guss and his team did. Highly recommend!!

So, after dealing with the countertop place, they refuse to replace or fixed the defective countertop. It looks like I'm going to be at about 10 to 11 Grands, give or take to replace all of it. The countertop has buff or twirl marks in it that can't be removed. The back splash was pretty much unacceptable. As you can see, the countertop above the sink is half an inch off from being level. And some other pictures of their work.

Gus was just so Amazing! I had a broken water line and had to turn my water off last Friday while I located someone to fix it. I called a few of the big commercial companies but it was days before they could get to me and their charges would be much much higher. I looked at the better business bureau to find an Independent contractor and found Gus! He came out to assess my problem within an hour of my call and then had it all fixed and running again the very next day! He and his staff are very kind, courteous, and professional! His compassion for other people shows as he works to keep costs down as well. Gus’s Construction and Remodeling is a blessing to this community for sure!
I recommend him for any of your Handiman or construction needs!

We had a great experience with Guss and his whole team. We live in an older home and had a bathroom in poor condition overall. The bathroom had an ugly old bathtub with stained dated tile, a leak behind our shower bath that had damaged the sheet rock to the side of the tub, and a leaky sink. Guss replaced our bathtub and a plumber named Mike replaced our bathroom plumbing. They even ran into unexpected problems and Guss didn’t charge us extra. His tile team took great care and did a detailed job with our tile. It looks AMAZING!!! They even made it look more modern by adding an indented place for shampoo etc.without spiking up the price. I would highly recommend Guss and his high quality team! We plan on getting more repairs done in the near future. Thankful to find an honest business that does beautiful work at an affordable price. Most importantly to me...the whole team was super kind and non judgmental. So grateful!

Guss provided professional service when we needed the carpet taken out of our home and needed hard wood floors installed. He provided a quick estimate and had his crew on site ready to go within a day. His crew was professional and courteous while working in a residential setting. They completed the work quickly and left the home cleaner than they found it. I’d highly recommend Guss and his team for any job.

Guss has restored my faith in general contractors. He and his team remodeled our master bathroom and bedroom. From start to finish, in every facet he could be professionally measured - he was stellar. I can say with complete confidence that he is a man of his word and the quality of work that he and his team produces is impeccable. He was really great at keeping me informed of project progress and any issues that surfaced (no added cost to me). His total priority is customer satisfaction. I am truly happy that I found and hired him for the job. Best decision I’ve made in a while - thanks Guss for being the professional that you are!

Gus is the most professional contractor I’ve ever hired. He communicates very well and his crews show up when he says they will. They work well together and cater to their specialties. The work is good quality! He guarantees his work and has been great about anything I’ve asked him to do. What a pleasure to have pleasant and capable people to do the repair and remodeling on my home. I wholeheartedly recommend Gus for your remodeling and building needs.

What can I say besides Guss and his team made my dreams come true!! I had 2 very outdated bathroom, I had a vision of what I wanted, explained it to Guss and got more so much more than I think I even expected. From start to finish Guss made sure he communicated with us every step of the way. Very professional, his team of guys were excellent! Our remodel took a little over a month, many of those days just his team was in our home, they are very professional and respectful, I never felt uneasy leaving my home in their hands. When I wanted to change a few thing in the middle of remodel Guss made it happen, we had a mishap during the upstairs remodel that caused a water leak, not only did Guss fix the problem he went above and beyond to repair the damage. Guss fixed the hole in my kitchen ceiling then repainted the ENTIRE ceiling and the walls in my kitchen/dining room. My kitchen looks better than before Guss started the job, and that wasn’t even what I contracted him for!! He is a man of his word and his clients approval/happiness is his number one goal. I would recommend anyone to use Guss Construction & Remodeling, you will not be disappointed!! Thank you so much Guss for all of your hard work:)

Ok, I ain't gonna sugarcoat this. Guss Construction is the best, most responsive, and hardest working contractor that I have ever hired. My wife and I have used Guss now for a bathroom remodel, a flooring replacement (carpet to wood and tile), they have added doors, replaced light fixtures, replaced siding, put in new support columns, installed fans, repainted the house, and several other things.

The price is always fair, the work is always completed to the highest standards, and the craftsmanship is top notch. Guss and his team make certain that you are 100% happy with their work before they are done.

If you need or want some work done to your home, call Guss. You will not be disappointed.

Gus is great to work with. His team shows up, and they are polite. I enjoyed working with them. Like any project on an old house comes hidden problems. Gus explained what needed to be done and what I could wait on. He is an honest man. I will use him again. I recommend him highly.
