Installed a pool liner last spring and it didn't even make it one year. It has come loose from the sides and bottom.

Spent over $200 on chemicals and equipment that they recommended, followed their instructions to an absolute T and my pool still ended up green.

The whole process with S&S is amazing. The staff in the store is very helpful and knowledgeable. I send everyone I know that is looking for a pool here!

The staff here seem unwilling to help or to go above and beyond for their customers. I desperately needed a part shipped to me and they wouldn't do it. They said their warehouse couldn't ship it but at the same time it apparently was not possible for them to cross the bridge and drop it off at the post office when I was willing to pay for shipping.

Staff acted like I was an idiot for asking questions. I was a brand new pool owner and just needed chemicals. They acted like I was completely interrupting their day when no one else was in the store.

Loved using S&S pools to build our families dream pool. They were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

S&S finished our in-ground, vinyl liner, salt system pool in March 2017. We are pleased with it and have had many compliments.

Great experience with S&S pools this summer installing our inground pool. We highly recommend their services. Melissa and Steve were great to work with throughout the whole process and our many questions after.

I received help evertime that I have contacted the company. They have helped me with my new pool all summer long.
We had a small problem and it got fixed
Good Job to all the crew at S&S pools.

Replaced a liner. It leaked. Came out a couple of times but could not locate. I eventually found it myself and had another firm repair the leak. S&S did a poor job installing, was unable/unwilling to remedy the defect, and were condescending. Ultimately, they would not respond and, of course, would not compensate for our expenses and time. Do not recommend.

My wife and I had S&S Pools install a 16 x 36 foot Cretian vinyl lined pool for us last year. They originally told us it would take 3-5 weeks for completion, it took 10 weeks and 3 days. The communication was horrible, they left the pool and the surrounding concrete dirty and then it took an act of congress to get them to clean it. We wanted a rock waterfall that would double as a jump platform. Steve, the owner, didn't ask us what we wanted or where we wanted it installed. Instead he ran the plumbing and then had the concrete poured where he thought it looked best. Completely not what we wanted but it was too late. They tore up our sprinkler system and I found a sprinkler head that they should have literally an hour before they were going to concrete over it. It would have flooded out our home and foundation. The pool liner had several creases and was uneven, Steve told us it was because it was cold and that it would fix itself when it warms up's. It's Aug 1st today and we have had a few 100 degree days and guess what, it didn't fix itself. We have several hard spots in the pool because they left trash and rocks under the liner, we have creases and several winkle spots and they broke our deck jets because we asked to have them readjusted and then baulked about repairing them after they broke them. They were installed unsymmetrically to begin with. Still not happy with them but too late, concrete is done. We never received written plan's, they didn't ask us what we wanted during the process. We have a pool that we enjoy but for almost $40k spent, horrible experience and several, several other much better pool companies.

From planning to construction, Melissa and Steve were AMAZING!! I gave Melissa a list of things we wanted and she made it happen within our budget. There were plenty of times for her to up-sell us and she didn’t! We even had all the extra concrete work done with them too. They told us 5 weeks to complete and they met that deadline WITH a week off for the holiday and rain putting them behind. We are so happy with our pool and our friends and family love it too!

Building a pool is a process. We were glad to work with S&S. They live up to their word. I cannot put a value on how much joy our little backyard oasis brings to our family. It is fun and relaxing! Plus, it has made “social distancing” very tolerable. No buyers remorse here. Our neighbors constantly ask about who we used. Also, cleaning is a dream with the little robot vacuum.

After researching liner; fiberglass; and concrete pools- my husband and I decided to go with liner here in Oklahoma. (In case the recent earthquakes decided to do some damage.)
We researched and received several bids from different pool companies here in the metro and decided on S & S Pools.
We met with Melissa and discussed and designed the pool the way I wanted it. We have a pretty big slope in our small backyard and new we would need a retaining wall. -Anyone with a sloped backyard should figure this out.- Anyway, we asked Steve for a bid for that as well so that we could have all the concrete poured at the same time. I will say he was very reasonable! (And it looks freakin' great!)
They started our pool on March 28 and we swam the first time on April 23! Steve came out Friday April 22, 2016 and finished some little things and then later that same evening I got a call from Melissa setting up a time to come the next day and show us how to take care of our pool. We are very happy!

The process of having our in-ground, salt water pool with a vinyl liner installed by S&S was extremely pleasant and we would highly recommend them. Their staff was professional and knowledgeable; they did a great job managing our expectations and preparing us for each phase of the installation process, as well as educating us on maintaining our pool after it was complete. We had a specific design in mind, and S&S worked with us on configuring it to fit within the space we have in our backyard and explained how they would pour the concrete to prevent drainage issues all before we broke ground. What set S&S apart from other pool companies that we had considered was their responsiveness—they actually took our phone calls and answered our questions before AND after we signed a contract. Finally, they are reasonably priced—we were able to get our pool heated with a slide for less than what some other pool companies quoted us for just the pool alone.

My husband and I hired S&S Pools to put in our vinyl, in ground pool. If you are looking for a company that will start your pool and then disappear for days or weeks, this company is perfect for you. They made several verbal promises to us and backed out on most of them. They ruined not only our grass, which we expected, but our neighbors as well. Steve promised to "fix the neighbors yard by rolling out sod and making it look nice", but in the end we were made to fix that problem. We explained to them ahead of time our concerns about our backyard drainage problems. Steve told us we didn't need a retaining wall, even though we had that in the contract. When our pool was finally finished , almost 3 months after it started, (they told us it would take three weeks) it rained at our house. All of the mud around our pool, because we didn't have a retaining wall, proceeded to go into our pool. We had over an inch of mud on the bottom of our pool. Melissa comes to "train" us on our pool equipment and chemicals the next day, because Steve will tell you "he has no idea how to use the equipment and has no knowledge of how to use the chemicals". When Melissa arrived, she ran quickly through what she knew and said, "your pool looks really green. That is unfortunate." Did she do anything to help us? No, but she did shock the pool. Why do you shock the pool, when the problem is the mud at the bottom? Shouldn't that come after the mud is removed? Concrete around the pool started developing cracks the day after they poured and the concrete is as shallow as 1 inch deep in some places because they didn't properly grade the land. They also poured concrete over the drain clean outs for the house as well as numerous sprinkler heads. Speaking of sprinklers, they completely ruined our system to the point the front yard sprinklers no longer work. Again at our expense to fix. The equipment installation was a mess. The equipment is not properly installed and the distance between each piece is not adequate and is difficult or impossible to service. The heater is installed so close to the filter it is causing excessive buildup from high heat. Oh and the filter they provided is a cartridge filter (instead of a more appropriate sand filter) which has proven to be an incessant task to clean especially given the mud issues noted above. We weren't provided any guidance on the equipment, it was just installed. Steve is also not a plumber and it is obvious upon viewing the completed equipment installation. Again, if this is what you expect from a pool company, S&S Pools is for you.

Melissa and Steve were always prompt with replies to my questions. This is the 2nd pool I have used S & S.

How this company is still in business I have no idea. Just read the reviews! We had our pool installed in 2020 and since have had to have a plumber come snake our sewer line every 4-5 months and most recently 4 times in the past 5 weeks because they rerouted the sewer lines incorrectly. Now we are having to get our yard tore up to fix their incorrect shotty work. Best part is when I called of course Melissa pushed me off immediately to Steve. When I called Steve he tried blaming it on other people, told me he was retired, and then could not even tell me if he used a license plumber or not. Are you kidding me? Steve is rude & he was not willing to listen or offer anything except rude and accusations on everyone else. No accountability. Would not use this company.
