Having recently moved to a home where I now have a wood-burning fireplace, I decided to confront my fears of using it. I started by researching a good chimney sweep, and the reviews for Masters Chimney were overwhelmingly great. After they inspected and cleaned my chimney today, I know why the reviews are so good. The Chimney Sweep was professional, courteous, tidy, and thorough, answering all of my questions and providing a complete report in terms I understood. I would definitely recommend them to all, including novice fireplace users, like me!

We initially called to have a squirrel removed from our chimney. After inspecting the firebox, flue and chimney Cap, it was clear that not one but an entire squirrel family had taken up residence and had built a very packed nest. It required a complete cleaning and multiple trips of concentrated effort to get all the squirrels​ out. The persistence and patience of Rory and his crew was much appreciated. We believe that the new chimney Cap is made much better than our old Cap that had simple wire mesh. Wildlife will not be able to get through the metal on the cap from Master Services. The squirrel family did damage to our chimney shelf. But it didn't take much. We have lived in the house 2 years and did not realize that the previous owners had at one time repaired the shelf with some kind of cheap sealant/morter. It all fell apart in pieces when the fire box and nest were being cleaned out. We will have Master Services rebuild the shelf with quality materials and workmanship. We would definitely recommend Master Services.

Fantastic service by Shaun! Arrived on time and got to work. Inspected the fireplace and chimney and swept the chimney. Was charged less than what I was actually quoted. Very friendly as well. Some non urgent work was recommended too but there was no pressure to have it done. Was informed they would email the quote and it would be up to me to decide to follow through. Clean up was very thorough. Would recommend to anyone needing work done on their fireplace.

Sean called me prior to arrival to ensure I understood he would not be able to get on the roof, (it was snowing). He was able to do a thorough inspection despite the weather.

He was very honest and professional, he even went the extra mile to show me how to properly install a blower that I had installed incorrectly previously.

I am having some repair done work at his recommendation and will update this review upon its completion.

During a residential remodel for a client we contracted Masters Services to inspect the chimney and clean, if necessary. Josh was our Chimney Expert and he was great! He had to make several trips out and he kept us up to date each time he came out. Angela handled our paperwork and billing. She stayed in contact, as well, to ensure everything was handled properly and that we were satisfied. We had an issue come up with billing. I called to speak to Angela and the Office Manager, Geana, answered. She was extremely rude and very hard to work with. She didn't honor what we were told. That's fine. Not a deal breaker. I tried explaining the situation to her and she wouldn't listen and kept talking over me. I was extremely frustrated by her inability to assist me and help me come up with a resolution. I snapped and cussed at her. Not my best moment. Her behavior was so unacceptable. She argued with me, told me she was the office manager and that things were the way they were because of her. I don't believe the customer is always right. They are certainly not. However, I do believe working together to find a solution instead of arguing over everything your customer says is not the recipe for repeat business. Especially, when they're spending over $5000 for your services. If not for Angela & Josh I would have given zero stars for the way Geana handled the situation. With Geana being the office manager you'd think she'd work with the customer a little harder to come up with a solution and set a better example in front of her office staff. A leadership position requires a cool head and poise... even during turmoil.

They are out of Denton & the technician asked to use my internet because his service was spotty. Good manners pushed me to accept that, but I didn’t appreciate it. I ordered a camera inspection & chimney sweep in a home built in 1909 due to some smoke smell in the attic when we burn wood. The technician acted like he had never seen a chimney from that era. Quoted me over $42,000 in repairs and fear-baited me with “I’m surprised you haven’t burned your house down yet”. Refused to do the chimney sweep because we didn’t have a damper. Price and job repairs were cost prohibitive.

Just not a quality company from top to bottom. Cheap doesn't mean good!

Wish I could say something good. But can't! I called over a week ago & left a voicemail requesting a chimney cleaning quote! Haven't heard anything from them!!!!

Ii live at Spencer ok which is only 5 miles from OKC. They wouldn't service my area, yet they boast of servicing a large area all the way to Dallas and fort Worth. Guess they didn't want my business.

Estimator was rude and hung up on me. I Was very specific on what I needed on the phone. He was pushy on additional work. Ignoring my requests Office promised me a quote and then they sent me an email saying I would not get a quote. Very disappointing

This company is a scam. They will do everything in their power to up sell.

Want a chimney sweep? You will end up paying $150 for inspection and not get a sweep but instead will get a quote for a $1000 in further work for what $25 of mortar sealant at home depot would cost you.

Concerning their response: I think they are full of it and might be thinking of another dissatisfied costumer. Everything other than the first 2 items they said was optional and an attempted upsell.

With $25 of high temp refractor cement from home deport I was able to tuck point the minor cracks at the rear of the firebox and pack at gap between the lintel and the hearth myself in under 1 hour. Their estimate was for the following:

Tuck Point - Inside Firewall, Repair cracks in mortar and brick: $250.00
Lintel Packing - Seal the space in between the hearth/mantle and fireplace: $150.00
