Grant is by far the most attention to detail oriented person I’ve met in the best way. He holds himself to a standard that I don’t see in most people. He holds his work to an even higher standard. His contractors are fantastic. They are top quality. In construction and renovation, you get what you pay for. He doesn’t use anyone that isn’t the best. He never compromises on the integrity of his work. He won’t allow stuff to be done improperly. I only had one issue on the many projects he’s helped me with and it didn’t have to do with how the project was done. It had to due with me not reading the care instructions and messing up some flooring. I called him, he immediately answered, came right over and helped me with the issue even though it’s not his fault I messed up. He’s helped me personally move furniture for projects that were going on to help save me money. His proposals are always top notch, thought out, extensive. I have never been given a quote and he goes over budget like other contractors. Not that it can’t happen but I’ve used Grant a lot. There are a lot of companies out there that will give you a barebones quote to draw you in and by the time you’re 50% done with a project, all of these additional issues arise and your budget now doubled because they didn’t list it as a possibility, whether intentional or not, on the estimate. So you’re stuck with an unfinished project if you decide to fire them or a low quality job that has to be redone in the near future. There’s no bait and switch. He’s super honest and if there’s something he knows he can’t do within your budget, he will tell you that and he’s even referred me to other contractors. I’ve never met anyone as hard working or capable as Grant. He’s to the point that I invite him over for dinner and we hang out on occasion to talk about future projects. He’s a family man. A truly rare person, personally and professionally. I couldn’t recommend another person for a job after hiring him to do work on my home. I’ve had friends and coworkers use his for projects. Never heard anything but praise for his work and work ethic. If you need anything done, don’t waste money on other people. He’s been in this business a long time and he knows his stuff.
