Interior Designer reviews in Tulsa, Oklahoma

Kirkendall Design was the first time our family ever used a design firm and we are so glad that we chose them! I felt heard and understood from the very first phone call. The ability to contact both the lead designer and construction manager easily with questions or even concerns kept me comfortable during the process. Whenever I wasn't quite sure about selections like paint color, they were so accommodating with getting me samples and talking through the choices. I'm so glad that I trusted them with this project!

Julia and her team are amazing!
My project ending up sooo much more than I had even dreamed of !!

From the moment I met Julia Kirkendal, I knew she was going to help us with our home restoration/decorating. She & her staff were delightful to work with.

I scheduled a discovery call with KD, which was confirmed by their team. They never called me on the scheduled time. I waited patiently, only to be completely ignored. I left a voicemail, but to this day, I haven’t received any response. If they can’t even manage a simple phone call, I have serious doubts about their ability to handle more complex projects. Total waste of my time. Look elsewhere for professionals who actually value potential clients.

We are so pleased with our Kirkendall kitchen! Their thoughtful design and excellent workmanship transformed our 1960’s kitchen into a beautiful and functional space, all while blending with the character of our unique home. The Kirkendall team listened to our needs, and offered creative solutions we didn’t know were possible. They were professional and honest, and a pleasure to work with.

Working with Julia and her team was an amazing experience. From my initial inquiry and consultation to the final day of the project, they made the entire design process so easy and efficient. Jayne is an extremely talented designer and her aesthetic fit my exact style. Thank you so much for helping me create my dream kitchen! I could not have done it without you!

Julia and Jayne guided us to fulfill our
vision for our forever home. They helped us elevate our ideas to the next level to create a transitional home that is cozy, warm and welcoming. The investment we made was well worth it!

Julia and her team were always responsive and knowledgeable. They found ways to incorporate some of our existing pieces and ideas into their design. They are flexible and do quality work. I would highly recommend contacting them with your decorating and/or building needs.

Our new home remodel was a perfect fit for Kirkendall Design. The project encompassed every inch of the house down to the hinges. Julia and her team are creative, efficient, honest, professional and communicate extremely well. They are always available to answer questions and they accommodated numerous changes that evolved during our renovation. Our new house ended up better than we could have even imagined! We look forward to working with them on smaller projects in the future!

After a water leak forced us to gut our kitchen and rebuild it from the ground up, we were at a loss on how to choose new flooring, fixtures, and everything else that goes along with it. We had a basic idea of what style we liked but no idea how to create a cohesive and stylish space. We were truly fortunate to find Julia Kirkendall who first listened to us and then provided guidance and examples of everything we needed from the color of the wood floor stain to the countertops, lighting, and backsplash down to the new cabinet hardware. Julia and her team were always super responsive and easy to work with and after implementing all of Julia’s recommendations we are thrilled with the results! I highly recommend Julia and her team at Kirkendall Design.

Julia and her team are the best in the biz! She absolutely brought my vision and Pinterest board to life! My new construction build stayed on schedule and I could not have survived that process with the Kirkendall team. 10/10, highly recommend

I recently had Kirkendall Design remodel/redesign my home in Tulsa, and I can confidently say they delivered a 10/10 experience. From the initial consultation to the final touches, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism, creativity, and attention to detail. They completely transformed my space, and exceeded my expectations.

Their ability to capture my vision while elevating it with their expertise was very impressive. I couldn’t be happier with the results and wholeheartedly recommend Kirkendall Design to anyone looking for top-tier interior design services.

If you're planning to update or redesign your home, partnering with the Kirkendall Design Team is an absolute must.

We recently hosted a professional development event for teachers at Kirkendall Designs, and it could not have been a more perfect experience! The team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoughtful, seamless, and inspiring. The space was not only beautiful but also incredibly functional for our needs.

Our teachers walked away enriched with a wealth of knowledge, fresh ideas, and creative inspiration to take back to their classrooms. The professionalism, hospitality, and genuine care shown by the entire Kirkendall Designs team made this event truly exceptional.

Highly recommend for anyone looking to host a meaningful, high-impact event in a setting that sparks meaningful connection!

Kirkendall Designs did a fantastic job renovating my kitchen and family room. We were on a tight timeline to get it completed and they made it happen. They are professional, responsive and fun to work with. I highly recommend them for any projects.

I recently used Kirkendall Design for a bathroom remodel and also furniture and styling for my living room, dining room, and hallway. The designer, Jayne, lives in my neighbor and has also done furniture and styling for another family in the neighborhood which I really liked. Jayne and the owner, Julia, made the process very comfortable and took my design preferences into account. They patiently helped me with design concepts like not needing all the wood furniture to be the same shade and still look cohesive and attractive! They also provided simple and inexpensive ideas that I could use to enhance the overall aesthetic. Tyler and the remodeling team kept me informed throughout the bathroom remodel process with weekly updates and daily texts to inform me when the tilers, painters, electricians and plumbers were going to arrive so I wasn't waiting around all day. Tyler also made sure that everything was working to my satisfaction when modifications needed to be made to my shower. Overall, I was very pleased with the design and remodeling process and the team at Kirkendall and would choose them again.

We have a home on Grand Lake that was built in the mid-1990s and needed to be updated. We reviewed web sites from several different design firms, and we liked the design work we saw from Kirkendall Design, LLC. We contracted with them to do the design and remodel work, and we could not have been more satisfied. Their design team is very professional. They listened to our needs and desires, and they also recommended additional changes that were excellent. The quality of the work from their craftsmen as well as subcontractors was excellent. We plan to hire them to also remodel our home in Tulsa. Our furniture was as old as the rest of the house, so in addition to remodeling our home, they assisted us in selecting new furniture, new appliances, artwork for the walls, etc. Our home on Grand Lake is completely different now. We love it!!

We've used Julia and her team for two major projects and could not be any more pleased with the process or the final results! From the initial design process, through construction, to the completion, her team knew what our vision was and made it happen very smoothly. The sub-contractors they use are true professionals with a keen eye to perfection and were great to work with! We would definitely use Kirkendall Design again!
