We recently purchased a used gas range and refrigerator from A1 Appliances for my mother's home after her existing appliances met a sudden and untimely demise. Dylan was very helpful and informative as we considered their used versus new appliances. Once our decision was made Lori was able to schedule us for a next-day delivery. Travis and Matt were prompt, friendly, and efficient in their removal of the old appliances and installation of the new. My mother's house is an older building that used to be a cottage so there were a few challenges in getting the appliances in and properly installed. They took great care to make sure everything was set up perfectly and cut no corners. They were clean, careful, and very nice gentlemen. There is a 3 month warranty on the appliances so that should give us plenty of time to make sure all potential problems were dealt with in the refurbishing. We got a filter warning on the fridge when we installed but Dylan supplied us with a new one right away. We would highly recommend this company.

Giving one star because I had to in order to write my review but deserve 0. The lady in the phone has bad attitude and the workers do not answer phone. Bad service and didn't fix anything.

A1 fixed my Fridge today and did a great job they were in and out in a hour!

Rod came to check and clean the furnace and fireplace in my house. He is professional and was careful not to damage anything.

I had a female technician by the name of Sara come fix our gas stove and she was awesome , down to earth, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this establishment

I had my washing machine serviced by the company. The technician came pretty fast and they were amazing! They were able to fix it and they were really kind ! I will definitely reused their service if need it (hopefully not too soon lol) thank you

Horrible customer service from the bottom staff to the top specially phone manner I spoke to a male and a female they were both extremely defensive and condescending these people speak to their customers as if they are doing you a favour and as if the job was not being paid for they are not cheap prices or even fair prices the reason given for poor service is that their very busy with other jobs so don’t expect them to be on time another words suck it up buttercup your not priority I like to support small businesses but this one is definitely not worth it I will definitely not recommend this place (Lorrie)

A1 Quoted me on replacing my kaput outdoor combination furnace -A/C combo.Competitive price and had the furnace order and installed in 3 days in the middle of winter at the quoted price.Great communication and friendly staff.

Had our gas fireplaces inspected/cleaned by A-1. Excellent work and the service tech was efficient and on-time. Will definitely use their service again.

Had a tech come to fix washing machine it was leaking water everywhere. Younger lady came said it was the hose. Nope did a load and water all over the basement. Called very upset I was completely stressed as I was leaving in 3 hours for an overseas flight. Called for Germany to confirm appointment on the day I returned.
Tech came when I told her I was upset she got defensive I got upset with her attitude and she said I was rude and walked out refused to fix machine but they happily took the $96.05 service call fee for not fixing the machine.
Never again. We spent $5000.00 at A1 this summer and they do not value their customers.
Want to support local businesses but this one doesn't deserve anyone's business.

5 stars! An outstanding customer service experience with A-1 Appliance Center today. Our tech, Sarah, went out of her way to find parts and repair our dryer in an efficient and professional manner. Great communication, transparent with repairs and pricing, a pleasure to work with! I cannot recommend highly enough and appreciate working with a trusted, local business. Thank you!

I am new to the area and am in the process of redoing my kitchen, so I will be needing to update my appliances over the next few months. The store was a disaster, I went in to inquire about an electric cooktop to replace my gas cooktop, fyi I know nothing about these cooktops. the woman was helpful in providing me with a price but I found her to be extremely condescending. As I was leaving the store this person put her hands on my body without my permission, As a male survivor of abuse I found this extremely unacceptable and unprofessional bordering on assault. If a man touched a woman in this manner he would be charged. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Lorrie is awesome! She had the guys at my house within 2 hours to check on my issue.
The main water meter in the basement was leaking and the plumber checked everything out.
Lorrie even called the Town to get a work order for them to replace their faulty equipment.
I have had them come another time for a clogged bath tub and the service was awesome!!
I would highly recommend this company.
