Reviews of local pros in Smithville, Ontario

Our experience with Arborwood was very positive and smooth! Their communication and response time was clear and concise, and everyone I spoke with was courteous and professional. We had a stump ground down, and their field team was great! The work was done well, and they cleaned up beautifully.
Highly recommend Arborwood for all tree service work!

We've relied on Arborwood for years to provide us with the confidence that the trees on our property are healthy and not at risk of damaging our home. We have them come out once a year to walk the property and they can tell which trees are unhealthy and which just need some pruning. We also have around 40 cedars that they treated back to health. You can tell they really care and love what they do. I would highly recommend them.

WOW!! What a crew. A huge branch came down from a 150 year old tree; we had winds approaching hurricane force. Arborwood arrived at 9PM, after working since 6AM. They were like a well oiled machine; everyone knew exactly what they had to do. The tree was cleaned up in less than 1 hour. Very professional. The city of Burlington surely got their money's worth with this company! Great job Arborwood.

The two men that trimmed and pruned our maple were both very knowledgeable and efficient. Our tree has a great shape and is the best it has looked in years. The yard cleanup was excellent as well.

First time customer of Arborwood. The entire experience was an absolute pleasure.

Mike came out and provided a quote and also many helpful suggestions.

Mark and his team pruned our three very large Austrian pines, and one very large magnolia. Our yard has never looked better. They cleaned every branch/leaf/pine needle that fell in our yard (and our neighbor’s yard where some of the trimmings fell).

They were also very aware of how much I loved birds, and they left some branches (at my request 😊) for the birds to land on that are close to my feeders.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Arborwood.

Thank you and see you in a few years when we do this again!

Great work yet again by Arborwood with our persistent magnolia scale problem. They promptly scheduled a new application this fall when our infestation returned. Always courteous and attentive service!

great service people and office staff.
Even though there was deep snow they were thorough and removed all the ivy that was present. Friendly and explained everything in detail.very professional

We would like to thank all the staff at Arborwood for their wonderful and expert service. Everyone has been so personable, professional and knowledgeable. Over the last number of years they have been doing our deep root fertilization, foliar spray for our trees and tree trimming, etc. Our trees and cedars have never been so healthy and full. And always ready to answer our questions and give advice.
Thank you again,
Bob and Fran from Dundas

We have used Arborwood Tree Services on a couple of occasions. Both experiences were excellent. From the initial contacts and the expert advice we received (which helped in our decision making) to the end product, each employee involved were courteous, prompt and professional. They did pruning (some large branches to delicate pruning) removals, and stumping. All work was done with such precision. Even the clean-up was remarkable. We will have them back the next time we need tree service and will definitely recommend them to family, friends and neighbours. Keep up the good work!

The entire team, from the administrative staff, consultant, all the way through to the hands-on-deck technicians were absolutely fantastic. The first day’s team had to remove a huge precarious branch hanging over the neighbour’s yard. They did it so very skillfully and so carefully, that not a blade of grass or millimeter of patio stone from the neighbour's yard knew they were there when they left… everything was left absolutely pristine. The other job involved pruning and cabling a huge tree over our house and driveway - again a fabulous job. Kudos to Andrea, Mike M., Anthony, Marc, Colton, Noah and Nick!

We have on old Silver maple in the backyard. Moving in over a year ago we noted that over the last couple of years there have been several hangers and broken branches that were not previously tended to. Wanting a safe tree and not having the branches fall on our gazebo we automatically called Arborwood. They removed a stump last year for us and impressed with their service. Once again the crew did an amazing job of removing all the hangers and broken branches. It was great to watch them work aloft. No damage to them or our gazebo. The crew removed the hangers over our neighbours shed and back yard as well. When the pruning was completed the clean up of the site was impeccable and they did an outstanding job. Being a somewhat retired arborist with over 40 years in the green industry I highly recommend Arborwood Tree Services for your projects!

I have used Arborwood several times for major tree cutting and trimming work on my property. They are efficient, offer great value, have the best equipment in the industry, show up on time and do exactly what you contract them to do. I highly recommend them.

We have three 3 cedars along the back fence line in our backyard which had leaning limbs due to the heavy snow storm in December. Mike from Arborwood team made a quick assessment and we had agreed on a quote. Anthony from team at Arborwood was in constant touch with us to schedule the work and I want to thank him for accommodating our request to reschedule the work as we had a bird nest in one of the trees. He was super responsive and ensured our request is handled by the best.

Sheldon and Jacob did a fantastic job tying the tree with the cobra cables, and getting them back in shape. It wasn’t an easy job but they did great. They are masters of their craft, took feedback, punctual, thorough with their work, eye for detail and completed the work as intended. I strongly recommend Arborwood and will definitely use their services next year.

Professional, courteous service that met all expectations. The crew was professional and did a good job of cleaning up after taking down several trees on my property. The crew ensured proper care as to negate any damage to my property. Very happy and would highly recommend.

Recently i watch the Arborwood Team do their work for a whole day. I was very impressed with the teams workmanship, their skill, their mindset for the safety of themselves and others. They were so careful not too damage the property. Each piece was specifically handled and dropped in the right spot missing the fence and the side of the building regardless the size of the piece of wood they removed. The team cleaned up after the work was done as if they had not been there. The team members were friendly and very courteous despite an audience who wanted to catch the whole event. Despite this being very dangerous work and i marveled how all the work was coordinated with other team members, machines and dangerous chainsaws. Wow. Excellent Job!

Arborwood look after you from the first enquiry right thro to post completion. They also manage the City permit. They are punctual, clean up and keep to their price estimates. Definite shout- out to Andrea, the Office Manager/Coordinator, a definite gem.

Arborwood is a superior tree service! From Mike at the initial arborist visit to Colin and his team on the day of service it was an exceptional experience. All interactions with the entire Arborwood staff were courteous, professional and welcoming. I will be using Arborwood again!

We had a large maple removed from our front yard due to breaking branches and some hollow areas. The crew was professional, and knowledgeable. They maintained a safe and clean worksite throughout the project. They also ensured that our neighbours were not inconvenienced during the two days they were here. The crew worked well together and the job was completed without any issues. I have already recommended Arborwood to several friends and neighbours. The project was completed on time and within the specifications of the estimate. Thank you Arborwood for the level of expertise and professionalism you brought to the project.

I had such a wonderful experience dealing with Arborwood! From the quote I received from Anthony, to the three man crew that showed up to do the work. Everyone was incredibly polite and professional. The work was done in two hours, and the clean up was top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and will definitely use them again in the future.

The business owner that my property shares a property line with, had huge tree branches over hanging my roof, and despite asking him repeatedly to help get them cut back, he refused. Now, I can rest assured that they won't damage my house.

Unfortunately I forgot to take any 'before' pictures, but trust me when I say the transformation was perfection.

Had great experiences with Arborwood Tree Services this Summer/ Fall. They were kind Enough to Donate some Logs that were used to make out Door Class Room Benches at the local Public School. The Kids enjoy them everyday. Everyone i spoke to during the process was so helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend using them.

We had a large white pine removed recently, and the team at Arborwood were excellent. Their quality work was great, and safety and site cleanliness were top of mind. I appreciated every aspect of their professional work, and thank them for a great job. Tree and stump gone, site cleaned up, topsoil and seed in place. All on time and on plan.
