I had C.D come and lay new sod in my backyard. I called late afternoon and Calvin came that night for a free quote. C.D was able to fit me into their schedule to do a quick, clean and professional job on my yard. Highly recommend.

We gave Calvin the impossible task of creating a garden design site unseen. With only photos and measurements and a few little details about the area, Calvin was able to provide us with just what we were looking for! He took the time to figure out what would grow best in our area and made amazing suggestions we hadn't thought of. While we'll be putting in the garden due to distance (4+hrs away), Calvin provided everything we need to have beautiful gardens. Can't wait to see Calvin's vision come to life! Thank you Calvin! Calvin was amazing. We built a new home and he came and worked with our design and did grading in our yard and a vacant lot beside us. Then he added a River rock garden to beautifully cover a water main. He is professionally and quick in his work. He picked up and did all the duties needed and nothing was left for others. Calvin and the CD Landscaping team are everything that a good contracting should be (its very hard to find contractors that tick all of the boxes. They do!).

We had a complex project (burying a trampoline complete with very tight spot for excavation, unconventional retaining walls, need for adequate ventilation and drainage (including a sump pit). They pulled off every detail perfectly.

We booked the job in Aug asking them for a specific start date. We have worked with a lot of contractors and more than 80% have some reason for not being able to start agreed date. Calvin and his team showed up right on the date and bright and early.

A good contractor should provide lots of advice on how to improve the project (bcs they have more experience). In this respect, Calvin was invaluable. Tons of great suggestions which we implemented.

Our job required us to work closely (and neatly) with our neighbours as we needed some of their space for our exavation. The neighbors commented on how neat and non-intrusive Calvin and team were.

As a contractor myself, in progress changes to the scope of the work can be a real pain in the neck (however, it happens on almost every job). Contractors can respond negatively to changes in the scope of work. Calvin carefully discussed the changes and was able to easily absorb them into his schedule.

Bottom line... its was a real good experience working with Calvin/CD Landscaping. Without a doubt we will be using them again on future projects.

Calvin first came out to our house to aerate and de-thatch our front lawn. We were so impressed we had them back to replace our sod in the backyard. Calvin showed up exactly as scheduled and the work was completed efficiently and exactly as promised. The pricing was great and they were always very polite and professional!! I contacted Calvin after a friend recommended him highly. He was here to tackle a very large, very overgrown hedge. I can't believe how good it looks. Calvin & his Team were here on time, got the job done quickly & efficiently and left my yard (and my neighbours) spotless. Very impressed. Definitely exceeded expectations. I have booked him to take care of my lawns this season (aerating, over-seeding & mowing etc.) and look forward to seeing the improvement in my property. Would highly recommend.

We had Calvin do some extensive work on our property prior to some renovations that will be taking place in the near future. They arrived on time and completed the job with no issues. We have a slope at the front corner of the house and we wanted a stone retaining wall with proper drainage included in our landscaping design. Calvin built us an amazing stone patio. Did a magnificent job, once complete there was a bit of adhesive left on a couple of blocks and when I mentioned it, they immediately scheduled staff and replaced the blocks without reservation or cost. Work was competed exactly when scheduled and in a very timely manner. I will highly recommend this company to anyone looking for landscaping work
