When I contacted Advanced Electric and Controls (AEC) I was provided with a detailed description of what would be done and an estimate of cost. After much consideration between all the estimates, I decided to retain their services to complete the electrical work at my house, as they were reasonably priced.
The electricians were great to work with, they explained things in detail in ways that I could easily understand, they kept me up to date and even fixed up some hazards from the previous home owners. Once they started on my project they stayed with it until the work was completed. I couldn’t be happier with my choice of AEC and with the job this team completed. I definitely recommend the AEC team to anyone who needs electrical work. -
These electrician are fantastic. They are exceptionally easy to work with The jobs they perform are excellent. When the inspector came in for final inspection they were so impressed by the neat and great quality of work. I would recommend this business each and every time

AEC just installed new recessed lighting and a new fan and light in my home. Everything was done so efficiently, they were clean and incredibly professional and their customer service prior to, during, and follow-up was amazing. Highly recommend them.

I had my first experience with Advanced Electric back in November 2020 when I had them come over and install a new sauna heater. They were professional and courteous and got the job done quickly and properly. I was so impressed with them that I didn't even think about shopping around for our next job. Just last week they installed 10 potlights (placed with precision) and 8 outdoor spotlights. Everything turned out absolutely perfect. It's a young crew that cares about their reputation and has a respect for your home as well as their profession. 5/5

Recently hired AEC to remove some remnant knob & tube wiring. Other electricians recommended making holes or trenching the plaster in our home to facilitate removal. Rob Hoffmann, AEC owner, used the least intrusive methods to re-wire. Rob and his assistant Novak did an amazing job protecting our home from extensive damage. They were impeccably clean, professional, on-time and on-budget. In addition, AEC Office Manager, Angela, was also very pleasant to work with. Not only do we recommend Rob Hoffmann of AEC and his crew, but we will use them for our future electrical needs.

I had a fantastic experience with Advanced Electric and Controls Inc. They were prompt, professional, and highly skilled. From the initial consultation to the completion of the project, their attention to detail and commitment to quality was evident. They worked efficiently and left the area clean. I highly recommend this contractor for any electrical work – they exceeded my expectations and provided exceptional service.

We had our knob and tube wiring replaced by Advanced Electric and Controls Inc. and we were extremely satisfied with their workmanship. Not only did they start a week earlier than planned, they also completed the job within the timeframe that we had expected. Their employees are prompt, knowledgeable, communicative and very hardworking professionals. Any potential problems were discussed with us in advance and resolved in our best interests. We were able to keep our period fixtures and will only need to make two simple repairs where the plaster had to be cut. They kept the work areas tidy and cleaned up as thoroughly as possible. Their price was extremely reasonable. We have owned our home for 40 years and they are the best company that has ever worked here.

As part of a big renovation, we had our electrical panel moved and upgraded along with new wiring. The customer service was very poor, starting with the person who answers the phone. After moving back into our home, the plugs and lights in one bedroom were not working. When I called the company, the woman who answered the phone immediately blamed it on the drywaller. I told her we did not even do any drywalling on the second floor. She said she could send someone out but there would likely be a service charge since my drywallers "were likely at fault". So, I waited a few weeks until I knew the electricians needed to come back anyway to do the electrical in my new kitchen island. The electrical apprentice in charge (a very nice young man) said they missed wiring the circuit to this bedroom and he was apologetic and they corrected it. A few days later, when my new dishwasher was installed, there was no power. I called the company again, and received the same rude response that there would be a service charge to send someone out unless it was their error. I said it's obviously their error and wasn't going to even consider paying a service charge. Turns out, there was no breaker installed for the kitchen island, so it was their oversight. And then, my husband installed our new dryer and it showed power but we could not get the dryer to run on any cycles. So I called the appliance store where we purchased the dryer and a technician came out and was bewildered as to why it wouldn't work when it was showing power. We called Rob, the owner of Advanced Electrical and he assured the appliance technician that it definitely was not a problem with the wiring. So, then the owner of the appliance store came out himself, they took the stacked dryer down from the built-in cabinet and he opened the power outlet box behind the dryer and said the wires were hooked up backwards. It was a quick, easy fix but the owner of Advanced Electrical should have come out to check and fix it himself. Luckily, the appliance store was nice enough to not charge me a service call charge. The apprentices who worked on this project were very nice, but when a customer calls during and after a $14,000 electrical project, the owner should be coming out to check these oversights himself if he is so concerned about paying one of his apprentices to come out and take a look. To immediately assign blame to other contractors is not professional at all.

We had our entire house rewired and a new panel installed. They did an amazing job - completed it very quickly with very minimal disruption to the house. Rob and his team were very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. 10/10 highly recommend!

Rob and his team did an amazing job putting in our new panel. I previously had AEC service my new kitchen and bathroom renovation and did not hesitate to have them back. My only regret was not having them do my complete rewire. They were very clean and professional and I would highly recommend them. Will definitely call AEC first if needed.

Rob and the entire team at AEC are the best! We needed them on short notice for a relatively minor job, but something that was very important to us. They arrived on time and did a fantastic job! Very reasonable rates and fantastic service. Will definitely use their services again.
