I would highly recommend checking out Blue Star Nursery for any and all of your landscaping needs. I was here and found the staff to be incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The pricing and selection are also great.

As we pulled in three employees were trimming plants next to the parking lot. No one acknowledged us or even said hello. My mother said hello to them and that's all that was exchanged. We proceeded into the nursery and started looking for plants. I had a few things I was looking for and plants to fill a specific area. Finally one of the employees came back in when I asked for recommendations for a type of plant to fill the one area I was looking for, he showed me one plant that I stated I just got rid of and then said well you'll have to just walk around and look at what we have. I was intending to buy everything I needed for my garden that day but will never be back there after the lack of basic customer service.

This is a REAL nursery! They have a wide selection of plant food (unlike the big box stores), mulch, soil, manure and, of course, plants, trees, shrubs . . .
It is clean and well organized. Staff and owner are friendly, courteous and helpful. Covid protocol is clear and posted. I put my support behind this local business and encourage you to do the same!

I went here a few times. The first time Gaetano was sarcastic. The second time the wife told me Grass seeds were 1 price then when I went to buy them I was charged $4 dollars more then the price she said on each.. She was polite and smiled so I thought it was just a mistake. I went back fast and she gave me back the difference. My wife went there a few days later and was over charged again. We know this was no mistake so we will not be back.

The place to go if you're passionate about gardening and landscaping. Stand out from your neighbours and be the talk of the town. Go here first before anywhere else

I have never had good experience here. They have sale on boxwood and giving 20% off, but they are selling 2 gallon boxwoods marketing them at 3 gallon. What a joke!! The plant actually have a tag saying its 2 gallon which they are selling for $40. The real price for 2 gallon should be around $25 plus 20% sale discount. Always a waste of time going here, because its expensive and false advertising!! This nursary is always a ripoff!!

So just to clarify! They are marketing to sell 3 gallon and 2 gallon boxwoods at exact same price?!? How does that make sense?

When we call in they always mention they only have 1 gallon, 3 gallon, and 5 gallon. The boxwoods have tags on them saying 2 gallons!! So that would be false advertising?

We purchased several plants and trees here this year. You get great planting tips and everything we bought and planted are doing great. Highly recommended!!

I stopped in for grass seed. It was raining so there was no one working outside. The grass seed was inside the building and when I went inside, I heard voices in the employee only room. No one came out to help me so I left very frustrated and without grass seed. It's difficult to support a small business when there's no service. I won't be going back.

Emailed them list of what I wanted, they provided availability and price of items they had and substitutes for the plants they didn't.
Good price, good knowledge, buy with confidence.

Easy to get in and out quickly, but can get lost browsing the inventory....lol

My parents visited this nursery on Monday. They purchased 2 plants that were $39.99 and buy one get one for free. Today my dad returned to buy 2 more. The owner charged him $49.99. My mom was waiting in the car. When my dad returned he showed my mom the receipt. She then went into the nursery to speak to the gentleman. He insisted she was wrong and/or undercharged. Fine. They wanted their money back. He didn't want to return them their money and said he will give a store credit. They hadn't even left the property. The man was very rude and sarcastic to my parents. I do not recommend this place. Very poor customer service. There are far too many nurseries around to spend your hard earned money at a place like this.

Many choices of plants and flowers. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this place for garden lovers. 🌺🌸🌼🦋🦋

I have been buying and supporting this company for over 30 years. Well this year I bought a lot at once due to moving to a New home. We gutted all the gardens started from scratch. After happily buying over $1500 in plants, trees and shrubs.First time ever in all the years buying from Blue Star I had to return a $260 Flowering Dogwood tree Carmen the Owner was extremely RUDE and Unprofessional in this return. SAD she is only pleasant when you Support her Company in buying. Why have a Guarantee when you treat people like this. DISAPPOINTED and they unfortunately won’t see $$$ from me ever again. 😢

After having 5 trees cut down due to age, we have just had 5 young trees purchased as well as installed by Bluestar Nursery Ltd. on Malden rd. This family owned business was great. Ernie, Carmen & Guy the two owners and Josh were so helpful. My trees are beautiful. The company planted all five trees with considerable skill. The money spent on planting was well worth it after watching how much effort they applied. Thank you all.

My husband and I came here on one of our 1st dates. We returned 7yrs later and bought 5 large trees. Great quality products. Friendly, honest people you can count on. Guy and Thomas were great to deal with! Highly recommend!

I've always been happy with the selection and service here. They are very helpful with instructions and pointers. They even threw in the fertilizer I needed when I bought a truckload of cedars. It's also nice seeing the same folks running it year after year. This is a great family business that I am happy to support.

Blue Star Nursery is excellent in all areas. Carmen and Guy are so helpful I feel like I have personal shoppers!!

Reviews are a great thing if done honestly.Go and check it out for yourselves! I am not a relative, neighbor or personal friend. I am a customer who enjoys gardening, and evolving and changing my landscaping with unique products. Remember to check out all their greenhouses. Their selection of perennials is mind blowing as are your choices of decorative trees. Once your totally confused as to what to choose, ask for Carmen!

I love going to buy plants at this place. It is the third time I have moved and they always help me choose the best plants for my garden. When I need information about how to care for certain plants they always give me good advice. All the plants I have bought from there have grown beautifully. I really appreciate the attention they give me every time.
