Very unprofessional experience with Windsor Hood Heroes.

We had an appointment booked for **10:00 AM** so that our hood system could be serviced before our store opened at **12:00 PM**. They didn’t show up, didn’t call, and didn’t answer any of our calls or text message.

I had to check in with one of my staff around 11:00 AM, and they were still nowhere to be found. We were left scrambling to figure out a solution on our own. It wasn’t until **after 1:00 PM** that someone finally picked up—and the excuse? **“We overslept.”**

When I expressed how unprofessional that was and asked that it not happen again, **Barry interrupted me, said “okay,” and then hung up.**

This lack of reliability and basic courtesy cost us time, money, and trust.

Extremely unprofessional and unreliable. I would not recommend them to any business owner who values their time or operations.

Not only did they clean my Hood they also repaired the motor and did a great job teaching me how to maintain some of my food equipment.

Windsor Hood Heroes did an excellent job! The team was professional, punctual, and handled the cleaning very neatly. Our kitchen hood looks spotless now. Highly recommend them for regular cleaning and maintenance.

THESE GUYS ARE COMPLETE FRAUDS AND SCAMMERS! I WOULD GIVE THEM 0-STARS IF POSSIBLE! THEY IMPROPERLY CHANGED BEARINGS ON MY BANDSAW AND CAUSED MORE DAMAGE TO THE MACHINE! I'VE BEEN CALLING THEM FOR OVER 3 MONTHS TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE, BUT THEY ALWAYS LIE AND NEVER COME!

BEFORE INSTALLATION, I ASKED THEM IF THEY KNEW HOW TO INSTALL THE BEARING PROPERLY AND THAT THEY DID IT BEFORE. THEY REASSURED ME THAT THEY KNEW HOW, AND GUARANTEED THAT THEY WOULD DO ANY REPAIR WORK FREE OF CHARGE IF THERE WAS ANY ISSUE WITH THEIR INSTALLATION.

AFTER A WEEK OF THE MACHINE RUNNING WELL, IT STARTED MAKING A TERRIBLE NOISE WHENEVER I USED IT. I CALLED THEM IMMEDIATELY TO CHECK ON THE MACHINE AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME ASAP. AFTER 2 WEEKS OF THEM STANDING ME UP AND NOT SHOWING UP ON AGREED TIMES, THEY FINALLY CAME TO CHECK ON THE MACHINE. THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME SOON TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE, BUT THEY NEVER SHOWED UP.

I CALLED THEM MULTIPLE TIMES OVER 3 MONTHS TO COME FIX THE MACHINE. HOWEVER AFTER THAT INITIAL CHECKUP, THEY COMPLETELY GHOSTED ME! THEY MUST'VE REALIZED THEY MESSED UP BIG TIME ON THEIR INSTALLATION, AND STARTED AVOIDING MY CALLS! ONE TIME THEY MISTAKENLY PICKED UP MY CALL AND HUNG UP IMMEDIATELY WHEN THEY REALIZED IT WAS ME!

I PAID OVER $1200 TO FIX MY BANDSAW AND THEY WON'T EVEN COME BACK TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE! THEY WON'T EVEN OFFER ME A REFUND FOR MESSING MY MACHINE UP EVEN MORE!

DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET CHEATED OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, AND DEAL WITH THEIR EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICES!

These guys came in and assessed my oven fan and advised me of the cost to replace versus repair. Instead of just repairing the unit and charging me they let me decide what I wanted to do.

I had a really great experience with Windsor Hood Heroes. They were easy to get ahold of, and responded quickly to my messages. From the start, it was clear that this is a small, casually run business that genuinely cares about doing honest, quality work.

When they inspected the damage, they called me to explain that the cost of a brand-new part might not be worth it. Instead of pushing the sale, they offered to help me source a used part to save money. Keep in mind, they don’t charge unless they fix the problem, so all of this consultation and extra effort was done at no additional cost.

In my opinion, some of the negative reviews here seem to come from people expecting a large corporate experience. If you’re looking for straightforward communication, transparency, and an honest small business that stands behind its work, I would absolutely recommend Windsor Hood Heroes.
