TOP notch, very hard-working, professional and friendly crew (Carl, Chase and Tyler). Jim estimated my job would take two days... these guys did it in one day. They also have great equipment... their chipper ate one of my 30' spruces in about two minutes, and their boom truck has about 30' of lateral reach. I would recommend Blue Sky to anyone.

Jim and the crew trimmed and cut my problem trees, stacked the logs where I wanted them, and gave me a free extra load of wood chips. Their prices are reasonable, and service is outstanding. Ten out of ten, would have them cut again.

Absolutely amazing crew. Fast response time, very courteous, kept us well informed of what they were doing when we had a large hemlock tree fall on our house during a windstorm. They are top-notch and will always use them again! Thanks Jim and crew!

We had a large hemlock fall into our yard, narrowly missing the house. We asked BSky to give us an estimate to cut down some other unhealthy trees and other tree trimming. The owner provided an estimate and good advice so we scheduled them for 2 days of work. Two workers, a chipper and ladder truck arrived. They obviously knew what they were doing and accomplished far more than I expected. Very hard workers willing to do anything I wanted. I kept them busy and our yard looks much better and we feel safer with the unhealthy trees and dead limbs gone. They did a great job cleaning up the yard before leaving. My wife and I would recommend Blue Sky to anyone. We will have them back again.

Blue Sky is the best tree service on the South Coast. Easy to schedule, they do a great job, and Jim is particularly knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for all your hard work!

We had a 90 foot fir leaning over the corner of our house and raining debris on the roof. Blue sky came in and took it down to below the topsoil in a matter of hours.
The guys were friendly and very professional.

Impressive! The owner swung by the next day after I called. His crew came out right away to cut off some loose limbs on very tall Monterrey Cypress trees at a very reasonable price. Thanks so much for the quick turnaround and great work. The owner is a professional arborists with great equipment and staff. Kudos!

called daily from wed, through monday no call backs. said friday afternoon zip dont know about quality they never came out. All talk no action.

Got lucky and they were able to come out on the same day within an hour of my call to them. They fixed my electrical issue quickly. Thank you very much!

Two interactions with this company tell me "avoid".

1) previous owners had them out to look at a 'hot' dimmer. Reese told them they get hot, so nothing needed. Uh, no. First, the switch got too hot to touch posing not only a safety hazard, but it could easily start a fire. All they had to do is calculate the current draw of the fixture on the circuit and they would have seen it was twice the rated current of the dimmer. Negligence.

2) Had them out for an estimate for replacing wired smoke detectors. They not only were not aware of the requirement for CO detectors in the state of Oregon now, but quoted a ludicrous price to replace just the smoke detectors. When told they need to make them smoke/CO detectors, they padded the estimate. This was an existing system. All that was needed was swapping units. We did it ourselves for somewhere around 1/10 the estimate.

Best advice: ask around for a good electrician. And avoid these guys.
