I've seen a lot of bad reviews here. Maybe because the sales people aren't the technicians. This is a great place, if you know what you are looking for. My washer wasn't working and after I did my own diagnosis, I took out the part and then took the part with me into the store, just to make sure.

They had the correct part from the part number I had given them over the phone. I got home and installed the new part without issues. Thanks A&P!! My washer is in like new condition now!!

If you know what you need, this is a great place to go.

We are so pleased with A&P Appliance, there was no long wait time, they were able to schedule us in. Our technician Tristan was awesome! He already had an idea what the problem was, turned out he was right and was able to fix our dryer right away. On time, professional, would definitely use them again!

I called regarding needing a replacement drain pump for my dishwasher. They confirmed the new part number and had it in stock. I drove to the store and was greeted by all the staff. They again ensured it was the right pump and I made my purchase. Dishwasher now works great.

Without hesitation, I recommend A&P Appliance. I've ordered parts through them and utilized their repair services. They were easy to schedule with, worked with my schedule, gave a date and time certain for the service tech's arrival. If he was running late, I received a courtesy call to let me know. Both times the service tech came to the house, he was early! And, he called before he arrived to ask if he could come early. The work was done efficiently and well.

I've had nothing but a great experience with A&P Appliance. I've had them out four times in the last two months, to fix my dryer and my dishwasher (twice!). The prices were very reasonable, and parts costs were less expensive than I could find them online.

Ryan, who came out each time, was professional, polite, and worked quickly. When a secondary issue occurred during a repair, it was fixed at no cost.

A month later, when my dishwasher failed again for a separate reason (Thanks, GE), he came out and repaired it without charging for the trip. Not only that, he fit me in at the end of his workday instead of making me wait for the next available scheduled slot.

I would highly recommend A&P Appliance, as well as Ryan personally, and they will get all my business going forward.

They ordered the parts I needed for my old dryer and offered some tips on other things I should check before buying the parts to potentially lower my cost of repairs.

I expected the parts to take roughly two weeks to arrive but A & P acquired them much faster than I had expected.

Our 20 year old gas oven stopped working. We called several appliance repair companies only to be told they were too busy to repair our oven. Then we called A & P Appliance, and they scheduled an appointment for us without hesitation. On the day of the appointment Ryan (our service tech) called and said he was finishing another appointment early, and wanted to know if he could come sooner. That worked out great. Once at our home, Ryan was a true professional. He put on booties to keep our house clean, and quickly diagnosed the problem. Before making the repair he informed us of the cost and asked permission. We accepted, and are happy to report our oven works great. We recommend them, and will use them again in the future.

Great, honest, fast, friendly service, at a reasonable price. Very open in telling us it would be best to just get a new dishwasher - with great recommendations, that lined up with what I found in my own research (including which brands to avoid). Will definitely call them again!

I called A&P Appliance looking for a part for my dishwasher. I called once, and was quoted $35 for the part. I decided to do a little more checking before committing to purchasing from here, which I did. I decided to purchase from here even though it was slightly more expensive, they could get it faster than shipping, and I was supporting a local business. So I called back about 30 minutes later and spoke to a different employee. They found the part and quoted me $40, I mentioned that the previous employee quoted $35, and they said "oh, okay, no problem, $35 it is." So I ordered the part. When it was ready for pick up I went in, they found my part and I paid. Was not asked to sign anything with my card, could not see what price they rung up, and was not automatically given a receipt. I had to ask for it. Thank goodness I did, because they charged me $65! I mentioned this to them, and they told me the person who told me $35 was mistaken, (even though I found the part online for $30). They did honor the $35 though. The whole thing felt really shady, I mean, are their prices just random? I was given 3 different prices by 3 different people. Another issue I had: I walked up to the door and noticed they did have a mask mandate stated on a sign, which was good during these Covid times. I was wearing my mask, so no problem. I walk in and only one employee of the 5 or 6 that were in this small space was wearing a mask, and his kept slipping off of his nose. No social distancing of any kind. Not sure why they bothered having a sign on their door if they aren't following their own rule. Bottom line, next time I need a part I will order online. I like to support small businesses, so this is a shame. Figure out your pricing and wear your damn masks.

Got me a very specific part for my washing machine within 48 hours of me calling them to place the order. The company that installed my washer had said 1.5-2 weeks at least to get the part. A&P made it happen in a matter of hours. These guys are first on my call list for parts.

I called several repair places. Not only did someone actually answer the phone (I had to leave messages at the other 3 places I called), he was able to send a repair person that same day. It took 3 trips and 3 days to fix my dryer, but I was impressed by how quickly they could obtain the parts and the flexibility of when they could come over, working around my schedule. I will use this company again.

Ron took care of us when the broiler of our 10-year-old Electrolux oven stopped working. It was a pretty complex repair, but he had no trouble diagnosing it and fix it in the end. The cost was high because the controller board that needed replacing was hard to find. But he found it for us and came back promptly to install and fix. He was on time, courteous and professional. He even took time to help me take apart the door so that I can clean years-old stain off the class. Now our oven looks like new. Highly recommend A&P. They are one of the best local businesses!

Very turned off by my experience with this local appliance store.
Our washing machine broke this last weekend and while calling around looking for the replacement part needed (drain pump) A&P Appliance told me over the phone that I can expect the part to arrive Thursday (in a few days). The very next day, I received a call from the store stating they did not place the order in time and now that part won’t arrive until Friday. I told them this is no big deal as “what’s one more day”. Friday (today) I call in to check the status of the order and the the gentleman working told me UPS had already delivered but he did not see my part in the delivery. He calls me back to tell me it was a fulfillment error and the part will not be in until Monday.
Normally this would not be a big deal but when you do not have a functioning washer and have many others waiting on you to fix it, time is of the essence.
This is the first review I have ever left as I tend to be understanding in most situations. I was offered no resolution or way to make it right by the appliance store and decided to order the part on Amazon (which will also be here Monday and is cheaper).
I would encourage anyone reading this review to stay away from this appliance store and take your business elsewhere.

I’ve used A&P for parts and repairs for 15 years and I always have been pleased with their service - from my initial phone call through the repair. My latest repair was a leaking front load washing machine. Ron came out within a few days of my call, identified the problem, got the part ordered, and was back within a week to complete the repair. Pricing for the part and labor was very reasonable and they stand behind both with a 90 day warranty.

We have had two terrific recent experiences with A&P.

On the first occasion I stopped in to inquire about ordering a replacement part for our Bosch dishwasher. Their salesperson Ryan was very helpful, and found the part I needed and placed my order. Additionally he shared with me that there are online videos that could help me learn how to install the replacement part myself. I really appreciated this. My daughter and I watched the video and successfully repaired our dishwasher.

Our next interaction with A&P was related to a repair visit for our Kenmore washing machine. Ryan also works as a service technician and he arrived at our home earlier than scheduled because he finished a previous job early. He met my husband and went straight to work assessing and repairing the washer. He was very thorough and explained what the problem was and how he fixed it. He did a great job and is very helpful and knowledgeable. I plan to use A&P appliance repair when I have future repair needs.

We have had amazing service from A&P! We had been trying to fix the lower oven in my double oven. Amid trips to find replacement parts and testing the door mechanism, and finally a scheduled visit, I am happy to report the oven is fixed! They were persistent until we figured out the issue and it didn't cost an arm and a leg to do so. We will definitely use them again.

I needed an oven ignitor for my gas range. They knew what viable options were available and provided a reasonable priced replacement at half the cost of the "exact fit" unit. I saved over $50 because I can use wire nuts. The unit also had a warranty to cover early failures for a year.
The staff is helpful, those answering the phone know their business. There is a private lot behind the store so parking is rarely an issue. Knowledgeable people and good products.

A&P was able to get my leaking freezer on our side by side refrigerator fixed within a week of contacting them. I am a new customer and was really impressed with their professionalism. Quinn came and was professional, nice and very quick. Will use A&P Appliance in the future if needed. I highly recommend.

I wanted you to know that nothing is more upsetting than broken appliances and the cost of repairing broken appliances.

Being in my 50's, I have had many service technicians in my home. Tristen is the finest technician I have ever had.

He is extremely knowledgeable and even more than that he is nice and friendly. And he works FAST.
