Fantastic job from quote to finish. This was not something I was planning on getting however when I had another company check out my AC and said it needed to be replaced I decided to get a few quotes. Went onto Home Depot’s website and about 20 mins later I got a call to schedule for a person to come out and give me a quote. The sales person was thorough, walked me through all of my options and was even not bothered by my Bernese getting excited about making a new friend. The quote for the set was on the lower end of was estimates were I was looking at so felt very comfortable especially since they use Carrier which is a top brand. Following week I get a text with tracking on the service install person coming to my house. Would highly recommend and very happy I got this done before summer!

Good response and technician is very knowledgeable and efficient in installing.
Great job by the contractor. However, I was told that I will receive documentation but had not seen any info.from home Depot. Reason for not having 5 stars.

I’m writing this review based on my experience with Romanoff Renovations’ scheduling and customer service, not the installation crew themselves.The evening before my installation, I was given a scheduled arrival window of 12:00–3:00 PM. The installers did not arrive until after 4:00 PM, and I was unable to leave my home until after 7:30 PM. This delay caused significant disruption: I had to cancel a doctor’s appointment, reschedule my children’s sports drop-off and pickup, and rearrange work commitments. As a single parent, this was an extreme inconvenience.I do not believe this reflects on the installers—they were professional, efficient, and clearly skilled. They did an excellent job once they arrived. The issue lies with Romanoff’s scheduling and customer service processes, which appear to underestimate job duration and overpromise arrival windows.When I contacted customer service, the response lacked empathy and accountability. I was simply offered the option to reschedule, which would have required taking another full day off with no confidence the situation would be handled differently.I own and operate a company with over 30 installation technicians and a dedicated service department. I would never place my team—or a customer—in a situation where expectations were so poorly managed. The waste of my time was unacceptable, and I believe a monetary adjustment or discount is warranted given the disruption caused.While I appreciate the installers and their professionalism, this experience has made it unlikely that I would use Romanoff Renovations or Home Depot installation services again. In the future, I will choose a smaller, more accountable provider.
