Found them through a friend and now I won’t call anyone else. Had them out twice now ,once for a fixture install, and once to fix a tripped breaker issue. Both times were great experiences. Honest, friendly, and know their stuff.

We loved working with the team at Mike's for their clean, friendly, and affordable work at our house in Milwaukie. They did things right: responsive, efficient, friendly, & professional. Amanda in the office was like a friend who has all the answers and Cesar the electrician and his assistant did careful, clean, expert work. When Doug came out to assess/bid the work he shared easy DIY fixes for our motion detector light and hot tub plug when they came up in conversation. Super people to work with, we highly recommend them.

Job was completed as requested. However, there was a glitch: The circuit that was added was initially connected to the wrong power line--one that was controlled by a switch when it needed to be constantly hot. It was easily corrected at no additional charge, I believe.

Mike’s Electric is professional, courteous, and most importantly on time! They did an incredible job installing our Tesla Wall Connector in our garage and I think the pictures speak for themselves! They do a fantastic job and will not disappoint you!

Cesar was super helpful. After doing the requested job, I showed an issue with a closet light. He advised me to go to Home Depot to buy a new fixture and showed me how to rehook it up.

There was discoloration on one of my breakers that looked like scorching, so I contacted Mike's Electric via the web site one evening. I loved the fact that I could describe the issue at my leisure in the contact form and attach a photo. Jerry called me back promptly the next morning and agreed it should be checked out. The tech who came the next week quickly identified the discoloration as a leaking oil from an aging breaker, and replaced it. He also noted similar minor discoloration on the main breaker, and would have replaced that one as well since he was here, but he didn't have one on his truck. He said it was probably fine to leave it as is. That was my only disappointment with the visit, since it would have been very nice to have had it replaced at the same time during the one-hour visit I was already paying for. However, I would absolutely call Mike's Electric again--I was very impressed with their communication, and the courtesy of everyone I interacted with.

Mike's replaced an entire electrical panel for me and did an amazing job (even fixing the previous owner's amateur electrician diy mistakes). Since then I've had zero issues and whenever I've had an electrical issue I call them and they are super helpful, smart, and get the job done. These guys are my electricians for life!

The electrician who repaired and upgraded outlets and installed new smoker detectors worked very efficiently. In addition, he was knowledgeable and receptive to my needs as a homeowner. I would definitely recommend Mike's Electric to anyone needing updates or repairs.

I called Mike's Electric to receive a quote and asked if there was a fee to have someone come out and give me a quote. They said no. Then, to my surprise, they send me a random invoice for coming out to simply give me a quote. I tried calling them very politely and professionally to get the fee removed because this added cost to get a quote was not told me. They refused to remove the fee, they refused to reason with me in anyway or work with me to lower the cost. I would highly recommend no one ever patronize with Mike's Electric as they are not an honest company with integrity and care. I would avoid this company at all costs as I wouldn't want anyone to go through what I did and end up with hidden fees.

Everything went well. Your service guy was great and got right to work. I guess it's because of my age group but $300.00 seems like so much to charge for changing two light switches. Again, I guess I am behind the times. Thank you, Dave

A week or so ago I went to use our Electric Clothes Dryer to hear a ‘pop’ from the control panel and the breaker trip. I reset the breaker and the dryer showed ‘power failure’. Try again and there was a repeat of the sequence.
However, on this occasion I could not get the breaker to reset and assumed the breaker had failed.
I have been use to doing most of the DIY jobs in my homes here, and in the UK, but after two Sudden Cardiac Arrests and implantation of a ICD my wife asked me to consider calling an electrician, rather than attempt any repair.
As it was not a ‘Hill I was willing to die on’ and ‘Happy Wife, Happy Life’ I sent a request form to Mike’s Electric, a facility which allowed me to outline the issue, and attach files, which I appreciated.
Allyson contacted me and I arranged for an appointment, which was not urgent as I am of a generation that grew up with clothes lines in the garden.
On the day, Cesar and his wing man, Matt, arrived in the advised time period.
Both were friendly, courteous and professional and immediately got to work. They found that the breaker had not failed and that the Dryer Socket was good and that there was no need to replace either. Cesar also gave the Dryer a basic electrical examination which showed that the fault appeared to be on the initial demand to start the dryer.
As I was within the hour I asked them to replace the breaker and socket anyway, with them being 18 years old, and also asked if they would be able to replace another breaker, which had been tripping spasmodically, within the hour.
Cesar confirmed they could, and it was so.
I can only highly recommend these two gentlemen and, I believe, it speaks well of the rest of the Mike’s Electric team.

Our experience with Mike's Electric couldn't have been better. We asked them to install wafer lights on our difficult, sloped living room ceiling as well as install a new exterior outlet and one in our bathroom, plus take care of a couple of other minor issues. Cesar and Justin were efficient, friendly, cheerful - and acted as tactful marriage counselors when my husband and I didn't agree about the placement of the new lights! They arrived promptly, cleaned up completely, and were good at solving problems that cropped up. They suggested fixes that would save us money and didn't try to sell us services we hadn't asked for. Thank you, Mike's for a great job!

I was very happy with the electrician’s work. He worked efficiently and completed the job well. However, I was disappointed to see that I was billed for an apprentice in addition to the electrician. I don’t believe customers should be charged for someone who is still in training, especially when this was never clearly explained at the time I called to schedule the appointment.

Because of this, the final bill was higher than what was discussed. While there is a small disclosure in the confirmation email, this was never mentioned during the phone call when the appointment was made. Had this been clearly communicated upfront, I could have made an informed decision.

Aaron and Miguel from Mikes Electric put in two new circuits and outlet boxes for us—one in the kitchen and one outside. They did a good job, quickly and expertly, and cleaned the area when they were done. Fair price and fine work. Thanks, guys!

Working with Mike’s Electric was a wonderful experience. They responded quickly, were helpful and completed the work the same week. The technician was on time, throughout and very respectful. He answered all of my questions and did a wonderful job placing a new mounted outlet for us and replacing our oven cord.

I had the best experience with Mike’s electric from the beginning when I called to schedule to the end with my service. Nice to talk with people that seem happy with what they do. The work was done well and the electrician was great. I will use them again and again. Also their prices are very competitive.

Everyone I dealt with at Mike’s was great, from Amanda taking my information and setting up my appointment, the technicians that arrived to do the repairs.
The techs arrived earlier than expected, found the source of the problem quickly, had all the needed parts to fix the issue, and completed the repair in no time at all. The employees were polite and professional. Mike’s will be my go to electrical company should I need one in the future.
