I had Eric from North Pacific Mechanical out to my home today to look at our A/C. He was amazing, found the issue in no time at all. He quoted me a price that was way less then I expected. After he repaired it he completely explained to me what he did in a way I could understand. In all it was a great experience and a great value. I recommend using this company.

After my call they scheduled to send a technician in a week. Their technician just randomly changed the capacitor ir didn’t work, then he changed the electronic switch which were not the problem either. After replacing them he said the problem might be! the thermostat. He wanted to sell us an $80 thermostat for $500! When I told him that our thermostat is almost new, he called his boss he said the problem is the expensive main board! I was lucky that they failed to reschedule (they said they will reschedule to replace the main board in 20 day, which was a long time and i did not accept) so they did not send him again to replace the board because the board was not the problem either. I called another company and they came over promptly and tested and fixed the hvac. The problem was that there was no refrigerant in the system and because of that the low pressure switch had shut off the system. The other company technician stated that was the only problem. Of course he replaced the pressure needle which was the cause of escaping refrigerant.
I’m wondering how north pacific mechanical hire such untrained people as technicians. He could not fix our hvac and again randomly replaced the parts that could not fix the problem and left us without ac in the heat wave last week. And of course they sent me a bill for all their mistakes and threatened me that they will send it to the collector if I don’t pay it.
