Neyda is a nice person, but sadly unorganized. She missed our first appoint, didn't clarify what day to meet for our next appointment so I was waiting for her, and then I never received a quote from her. Very disappointed.

I am very sorry about the confusion on schedule and appointments. That is not how we work. In over 20 years of professional practice, this is the first time we receive a negative review. Let me explain what happened. The work you requested from us is delicate in nature and regulated by the City of Portland. I was looking at picking up from what was left by other contractors. Part of my job is to conduct due diligence and bring all the facts to the table and avoid surprises of any nature. I need to know if the job you had started, had already been permitted, needed to be inspected, etc... I can not simply just jump on a new job blindly. That would have been irresponsible from my part.

I bear responsibility for the confusion on the schedule. I am sorry for the inconvenience and the time you invested.

I have spent lot of my own time researching the job and requirements to be code compliant in Portland.

I wish you the best on completing the job with a contractor of your choice.

The City of Portland contracted with Neyda Landscape Services for the construction of Rock retaining walls, path construction, railing Installation (Steel and wood railings), erosion control, slope stabilization, and planting.

Neyda has performed very professionally and has delivered great projects despite topographic challenges. Retaining wall systems that include deep piles and lagging and decorative rock fascia were implemented at competitive costs with great results.

I want to thank Neyda and her company for her work with the Ciry doing slope stabilization and clean up of the Frank L Knight Park, the construction of a rockery wall at Mt Tabor Park, the trail, fencing and pile and lagging retaining wall construction, erosion control and planting at Sellwood Trail, and the multiple trail and walls at the Rhododendron Gardens and Crystal Springs.

Neyda and her team did an incredible job on our landscaping project. They did irrigation and sod install of over 13,000 sq feet. It was a huge project and not only was she professional, punctual and hard working she’s just overall a great person. They completely transformed our yard and we are so thankful for all of their hard work! We plan to have her company come and do regular maintenance as well. Hire them! You won’t regret it.

Neyda Vazquez and her team at Neyda’s Landscape Maintenance, LLC are hardworking, consummate professionals who we would hire again in a heartbeat. Neyda's team made quick work of demoing our backyard, installing the hardscaping, and eventually adding irrigation once we'd gotten all our plants in. They always left our home cleaned up at the end of the day and were attuned to little details like tidying up the newly installed gravel and stacking leftover bricks behind our shed. We admired how Neyda treated her team, bringing them lunch, providing plenty of cold drinks, and ensuring they took proper breaks on summer work days.
