This crew is the BEST! Most reasonably priced, very skilled, and easy to work with. The only tree service we will ever call.

Scammer of a company. Makes fake invoices and sends them through a lawyer and collections even though you're not even in the same state. Tried informing him that's not us in case this is for a real customer and the person who answers the phone threatens you with a lein, is really rude, and hangs up on you instead of listening to reason.

So must be a scam. I've never been to nor worked on behalf of someone there. They don't care. They just need money and are willing to look up pictures of you online and reply with them as "proof" that you owe them money.

It's really creepy and total harassment.

***Update: The claim that they've been contacting us for months is false. I've been the main person on the phones and in the email. I searched the email and there are zero records of any contact.

If you got scammed by a customer and someone calls you because you unleash a lawyer on them, and mind you - we have nothing to do with this so we are under no obligation to contact you - you yelled at me and hung up, denying that we were in fact the company who was responsible instead of listening to reason and acting like an adult.

Instead, you just wanted to yell at me, saying you were going to lien the property. Sure. It's not ours. We have zero connection to it. We don't care what you do if you won't listen to the truth. Instead of resolving this responsibly, I can to get a supervisor at the collection agency who actually listened to what I said and agreed that it that it didn't make sense. At least they were professional about it.

I needed a dead tree removed. Worked with me on what could be done within my budget (I skipped taking out the stump), and was by far the most affordable option I got quoted. They also offered a free minor trim of my other trees. I recommend.

Couldn’t be happier with their work, and the professionalism of their crew. They checked with me throughout the process to make sure they were doing what I requested, and were very careful and respectful of our yard and any decorative items. Would highly recommend.

These guys did a great job. They gave me a price and stuck to the price. They came at 8:30am left at 5:30pm. Never stopped. Cleaned everything up and left. Perfect job, this is the company your looking for. I'll use them again!

They were very quick to set up a quote. More affordable than another local company. River came out next day, trimmed my huge oak, cut the ivy on it, and hauled away the debris. I will be choosing them again for all my trimming needs. River was kind, direct, and efficient. Very great service

I used Portland Tree Service last week to remove a tree that was leaning way over my neighbor's fence. Checked the CCB, Oregon Business Registry and saw the Bond. They sent out a team, one of which was an Arborist and they did a very clean and skilled job of taking the tree down without causing damage to the fence. There were a couple of massive trees down behind me that left craters in the ground and these guys were able to cut the trees at the stump and cause them to pop right back up into the crater. Solved a huge and unsightly problem for me and my neighbor. After seeing how hard they worked and the job they did, I was happy to write that check.

After a disastrous tree accident into my backyard, the neighbors hired Portland Tree Service to remove their dead tree. Portland Tree Service did the removal, safely and at break speed. Then Tom, the foreman, showed up at my house, stump grinder in tow, and removed the stumps in MY yard, right then and there, at a VERY reasonable cost. It really helped ease the stress of the whole situation.

I had an excellent experience with Portland Tree Service. Tom responded to my request for an estimate within 24 hours and scheduled the work within the week. The pruning of my very tall pear tree was complicated by entangled electrical lines. Nonetheless, the work was done carefully yet fast.
