We here at Emerson Metalworks and Fabrication love working with G. Christianson construction in Corvallis, OR. It's always a pleasure to follow behind their work crews and to help support the vision of the homeowners, designers and management of this well run local business.

Their quality, attention to detail and integrity is definitely a team I am happy to support and work with. We followed up on a recent project by adding custom fit handrails to the new composite deck and guardrail installed by their crew this past month. The fit and finish looks great and all of the work should last a very long time for this great looking home.

I needed a small construction job, too small for G. Christianson Construction, but Carl and Ben suggested a T&M (Time&Materials) contract. Not long after, Ben, Juan, and Roman arrived and agreed on what needed to be constructed. Ben left, and, without any plans on paper, Juan and Roman did the work with competence, and energy. My new, large screened porch/catio is beautiful and exactly what I'd hoped for from this respected construction company!

As a fellow general contractor, I really appreciate how well G. Christianson took care of a friend of ours!
When our friend call them about an upcoming project, they quickly figured out together that the project was not in their service area. But instead of just saying no, G. Christianson helped them find a contractor in their city!
    THAT is great customer service!

We have had this company do a number of projects for us, large & small including an unplanned project necessary after a large tree fell on our house. They have always responded quickly to any calls, offered options for the work needed, taking into account our own cost issues. They work with other contractors & insurance agents well. Their work is done in a timely fashion & we appreciate their commitment to our environment. The workers were all patient & kind whenever we had questions and they clean up well after projects.
We live in NW Corvallis near the high school & Porter Park. Projects done include a bathroom remodel, resurfacing walls & ceiling in a bedroom, under the house wiring as well in other general electrical work and later roof repair following damage done by a fallen tree

    G. Christianson was so fantastic to work with! They did a large remodel on our house and we couldn't be happier. Anna's design expertise was critical to creating our perfect home, and Tanner was such a professional and thorough project manager. We felt in good hands the whole time! Would definitely recommend this company.

G Christianson did a remodel of our kitchen and more. They removed a load-bearing wall to open up the space and built a new entry into the garage to allow for a more spacious kitchen. Tanner was great about communicating the steps of the process all along the way. They even set up temporary walls and doors to allow us to use the rest of the house while construction was happening. I am very pleased.

The project of a replacement deck and staircase was handled well at all stages, from design and materials selection all the way through the actual construction. Each step was explained clearly, beginning at their office and at weekly meetings at the construction site. The carpentry crew did a fantastic job on difficult sloping terrain to build a great looking deck. Work site cleanup was excellent, and they cooperated well to minimize congestion on area streets and a neighbor's driveway during construction.

My company, Stotsenberg Wood Floors and Corvallis Floor Covering has been a sub-contractor, installing floors for G Christianson, for many years. We are happy to do projects with them, as they are managed well, on time, and run smoothly. The workmanship we notice from their tradesmen is top notch. The cabinets are about as nice as it gets. Most of the staff have been there a long time, because the company treats their team really well. It's a great group of people, and they are good at what they do.

Our kitchen/ bath/ laundry remodel is complete and wonderful! It is a joy every time we step foot in these spaces. Who knew that a wiping countertops could be so fun?!

G Christianson puts thought, quality materials and attention to all the minutia of a remodel and creates beauty, space and functionality. They stand behind their work with a 10-year guarantee.

We enjoyed the folks who brought our home from demo-to-beautiful! Design with Raegan and Sarah. Management from Carl, Ben and Tanner. Admin with Alison, Sammi and Eddie. Demo with Ryan and Curtis. And, Gavin- he can do anything! Cabinet shop with Ron, Tyson, Chris, Alejandro, Chad and Dennis- who created smooth, slow closing cabinets, dovetail joints, hickory heartwood, beautiful hardware, Lemans pull-outs and maple interiors- a delight to use and stunning to behold!

All the subs- from doors, drywall, painting, countertops and electrical (Casey)- top notch. Tile with Kyle and Tom- it was spectacular to watch how the tile made the space come to life.

A special shoutout to a few people went above and beyond: Curtis, Ryan and Dennis- thanks for all that you have done for us. Your presence made this process a joy. Thank you.

And for anyone who wants to create a beautiful home with a solid, funny, kind, and professional crew, look to G Christianson.

    G. Christianson is one of our favorite contractors to work with. After working with them for 18 of the 20 years we've been in Corvallis, we've gotten to know them quite well. Not only do they focus on quality and sustainability which lines up with our mission, they pay for jobs on time and communicate well with our shared clients. They're very familiar with energy efficient building practices and always consult with us to make sure homes will be solar-ready if the home will not get solar right away. I hope more contractors will follow G. Christianson in thinking about long term sustainability and energy efficiency. Putting in the extra effort to save (and generate) energy up front pays off in comfort and low operational costs over the life of a home.

I contracted with G. Christainson to do a whole house remodel in a 1960 built home. The primary purpose was to correct some design issues and update the inside to be more cosmetically pleasing. The company accomplished what I wanted technically and professionally. The subcontractors were well managed and the company staff were professional and responsive throughout the project. I would gladly recommend G. Christainson to anyone that needs a professional remodeling project accomplished.

The Corvallis Waldorf School is grateful to Christianson Construction for the new covered sandbox structure in our preschool play yard.
It is exceptionally well built with long lasting materials, and the care that went into its construction is evident.
It brings in natural light while offering protection from the weather, and we know that our students will enjoy playing under it for many years to come.

    Thank you.

We were extremely satisfied with working with G. Christianson on this major remodel of our home (kitchen, dining room, floors, ...). From design, demolition, construction, appliance installation and finish work, the team is professional and very skilled. The work done is highest quality and the whole process was enjoyable for me. Once the project was done, we were sorry to have the 'Christianson family' leave our home to move on to the next project. It is clear that they take great pride in their work. Once the project was completed G. Christianson was very quick to respond to any final questions we had. I highly recommend G. Christianson and plan to work with them during our next remodeling project.

If it’s top quality construction you want, G. Christianson of Corvallis should be at the top of your list. We have hired them to do small jobs like door replacement, middle-sized job like wood deck repair, and recently a major remodel of our townhouse. The owner, Carl Christianson, is personable and honest. He started by providing a clear estimate of the project, proceeded with a detailed contract and time schedule. He involved the best subcontractors in the area and worked with specialized businesses from Salem to Eugene, He provided daily supervision by Ben of his own skilled crew of carpenters, his finish craftsman Dennis, and his patient and exacting cabinet maker Ron. You are certain to be completely satisfied with the results of your project.

    G. Christianson worked with our family to help us realize our dream of an expanded and remodeled home. From design to finishing touches, they were very attentive and responsive to us throughout the whole process. Our project was completed in a timely manner, and we felt like we made new friends and a valuable business connection. Overall we are very happy with the finished product that G. Christianson provided for us, and we have recommended them to friends considering a remodel.

It’s been 5 months since the completion of our kitchen and my partner just walked into the living room and sighed, “ I love our kitchen”. I can think of no better testimony to the beautiful work done by the G Christianson crew than this comment which I hear at least weekly.

One should not go into a remodel underestimating the impact it will have on daily life: refrig in the dining room, coffee station in one room, microwave and hot plate and other meal fixings in another, washing up in the bathroom in a manifestly small sink. And time! It takes time!

But should you be determined to go forth with your dream we want to encourage you to use the talented and highly skilled, thorough, organized, considerate, creative folks at G. Christianson’s Construction.

We selected Christianson’s for a few reasons. 1. The quality of their work (which exceeded our expectations) . 2. Their range of work. 3. Their commitment to green energy.

What we didn’t know until we began the remodel is that the crew at Christenson’s is not only skilled and competent (and tidy!) but delightfully personable. We were absolutely honored to meet each and every one of them.

Our first interactions were with Carl, owner, Tanner, project manager, Anna, designer, and Jon, estimator - great first impression – professional, cordial and engaging. .

Anna was the designer for our project. The design stage was the most challenging stage of the project for me but Anna was patient, kind and helpful and with her we found the right layout and products for the kitchen.

Tanner, our project manager, always armed with good cheer and the team’s electronic work schedule and accompanied by his assistant Sami, met with us weekly to answer our questions/concerns and keep us apprised of what was going to happen the coming week. The communication with the company and with Tanner was a blessing!

You can put all your trust in Ron the cabinet shop manager, Chad the cabinet painter and Eric who helped build our cabinets, who is the standard bearer for the cabinet shop’s craftsmanship, quality, and design. I wish I could sing out praises to each of those who worked behind the scenes but suffice it to say, the results are beautiful.

Master carpenters Dennis, Alejandro, Gavin and Kris – am I forgetting someone? –not only excelled in their work but were a pleasure to have in the house. Their attention to detail surpasses any I have experienced in the past.

We want to offer a special shout out to Dennis who created a beautiful, one of a kind table for our breakfast nook. Compliments abound for his creativity and thoughtfulness. I appreciate that the team members are allowed to flex their creativity muscles within the structure of the company and I hope there will be a photo of this available on the web site at some point.

We also had occasional contact with Eddy, accounting, and Erin, office manager who responded to any query promptly and helpfully.

We offer a huge thanks to every one of you involved in the remodel and highly recommend the company for it high quality work and personable crews.

Thank you to everyone at G. Christianson Construction for a smooth and successful kitchen remodel project. We knew we wanted to make some changes to our kitchen but we lacked vision and did not come into this with a well-defined project. We loved working with designer Anna Clink and your excellent cabinet shop team to come up with a beautiful design that greatly improves how our small kitchen functions. Tanner Wood kept our project on schedule, and we appreciate the effort you all put in to get this started quickly so we could be done by Thanksgiving.

    G. Christianson did a fantastic job on our kitchen remodel! We couldn’t be happier with it! Our superintendent was knowledgeable and responsive to our needs. The carpenters, construction crew, supervisors, and designer were all very professional and motivated to do their best work. We appreciated the large and small details. Josh did research on how our new appliances worked and took the time to set up the ovens and burn off the factory oils. We also appreciated how he presented environmentally friendly options, in addition to long-lasting, quality products. This company is progressive, which is apparent in everyone’s attitudes.

The original plan, when I contacted G. Christianson Construction, was to design and complete an upgrade to our existing ADU. I trust this company completely as the original owner, Greg, did excellent work on my home several years ago. Carl continues G. Christianson Construction's legacy of superior service with honesty and integrity. Carl kindly explained that the plan I had in mind wouldn't likely make a good return on my investment, and he generously recommended smaller scale ideas. Furthermore, he provided us with referrals to other contractors he trusts to complete good work. The world would be a better place with more companies like G. Christianson Construction.

It was great working with such a responsible company on my major kitchen/family room remodel. Raegan was wonderful with design suggestions. It was clear that the employees like their job. All were polite and responsive. Tanner and Ben were both great about seeing that things got done in a timely manner and were great about answering my questions. I love my new kitchen and would highly recommend G. Christianson.

We have had two major projects both requiring creativity. After installing a three-tiered deck made of aluminum for reduced fire danger, we were so pleased with G. Christian Construction that we contracted with them for a complete remodel of our main bathroom.

In each project the result was of superior quality with the outcome in both cases appearing in design publications. Not only were these projects attractive but each increased the practical functioning of our home. The craftsmanship of their staff was higher than the original builders of our home. The on-staff workman were committed to quality and the subcontractors were carefully vetted. We developed a close relationship with their crew almost regretting when the work was completed as we no longer saw them on a regular basis.

Most importantly they were readily available for follow up questions making recommendations about concerns for other work. They helped us find reliable window replacements, electricians, and plumbing repairs for other areas of our home. When we have any future renovations, G. Christian will be our first call.
