I hired Checkpoint Electric Inc. after being referred by my real estate agent, Lynne Gately (John L. Scott Eugene), and I’m so grateful for the connection. I bought an older home that already had the main service upgraded, but the interior was still mostly 1950s electrical.

Jonathan modernized everything — upgraded all outlets and switches with GFCI and tamper-resistant protection, added new lighting and dimmers throughout, and installed ceiling fans and updated fixtures in multiple rooms. Every detail was handled with care, and everything looks clean, functions perfectly, and was done right the first time.

I’m thankful to both Lynne and Jonathan. Good people know good people — thank you for the outstanding work and service!

I highly recommend Checkpoint Electric. I hired them to relocate and update the breaker panel in my house. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner. Replacing the electrical service entrance to my house required coordination with the power company, and required the power to be out throughout my home - communication was excellent throughout the entire process. They completed the job in the timeframe that was explained to me, and the total cost did not exceed what was quoted. When they removed my old electrical meter, they found that there was an unexpectedly large hole in my siding hidden underneath; they purchased replacement siding, installed it, and even gave me the extra material for my future use! I had tons of questions throughout the process, and they patiently answered everything I asked. Talk about great service - I will definitely use Checkpoint Electric again.

Gave a quote on an upgrade (not needed) and not the problem (needs to be fixed). Said no to the more expensive upgrade and never heard back about the real problem.

Bohemia Electric provides quality, efficient, reputable service. We had a full panel replaced, Austin was great with answering all questions, very respectful of the home / workspace, on time, able to work around our schedule, and produced a great quality result.

Bohemia electric was able to come out the same day to help with a light that fell from my ceiling. They ended up coming back the next day because the bracket that was put in did not fit my new light. Very professional and responsive. I also just got a Christmas card from them. I will definitely be calling them next time or referring them to friends in the area.

I don't live in Cottage Grove and they drove out to my home over 50 miles away no problem Set up appointment instantly and had an inspector out days later. Everything went as smooth as i could of hoped for. Give these guys a call if you are wanting something done and don't want to get shocked. (I had a generator switch installed)

I called James at 7am in hopes of getting him out to my place to fix a mistake I had made. He was able to make it out and fix everything before 12pm on the same day. Great guy! James was great! He was a little late but called us to let us know. He quickly located our problem and fixed it straight away. He was professional, pleasant and friendly. I would strongly recommend him.

James is doing an entire house re-wire plus an addition and garage. He is fast, efficient, friendly, safe, cost effective and works with a high level of integrity. Only electrician I will use and cant recommend highly enough!

I called them to get a quote for a new hot water tank. The price they quoted me is fair and in my price range. I appreciate their honesty and fairness, and right now they have a discount on hotwater tanks. Thank goodness!! Hopefully if everything goes well tomorrow I know who just to call for all my next home improvements!!! I will need one bathroom sink fixed, and the kitchen sink fixed once I save up for them again. It's an amazing feeling to be able to trust honest working individuals.
Once I get my water issues fixed I can move on to floors and wall repairs due to water damage in the future.

They were very quick and precise were able to unclog the drain, super friendly and helpful and had great advice.

If there was an option for zero stars, that’s what I would give. The landlord sent these guys to come out and snake the lines all for them to track human feces throughout my whole lawn and driveway.
When I called to make a complaint dude said get over it, it will decompose.
These guys really need some school on how to talk to people and do their job correctly, I also don’t appreciate human feces all over my hose.

I am the owner of the house Drake posted the bad review for. I was very pleased with what Bohemia Plumbing did. They were professional. On time. Quick and efficient. They did not make the mess in the photos. The renters did. I would call on them again and again.
