I had a tree come down on my vehicles over the holiday and Herfords came out immediately to cut the rest of the tree down with a couple of other ones.
They were very fast, professional and the workers were top notch. I would highly reccommend this company.

Nathan Herford and his team are true professionals. Computer generated bid with pictures and description of all work. From top-notch equipment, timely service, licensed bonded. Polite and accommodating. The whole process was seamless and very professional.

Came recommended as great service. Just needed a stump ground that is literally on the curb strip. An easy job by any means. An easy fit from one job to another. They took the time to talk with me three times, one to schedule an appointment, one to ask if I could send them photo's and bid the project from the pics, which was great for me and them. They didn't need to come see it and waste valuable time. The final call was the owner and he wanted to talk about it and get pictures again. Great no problem. He said He'd get me a bid by the next day. Four days later, still no bid and no response to my updated request for a bid. Frustrating when you're trying to give people work and they just ghost you. Why even spend that time? I'm sure they do good work but their follow through questionable at best.

We had Herford's Tree Service do a lot of tree work. They took out some very tall pines that were topped or dying. They had to bring the trees down among a stand of trees and did an amazing job of doing so. They also cleaned out some dead or dying alders. It's impressive at how fast a chipper can chip a large tree! All their equipment was of a size that could be transported with pickup trucks so no big bucket truck was needed on the property. They also have an amazing remote operated stump grinder that gets rid of stumps in no time. We are very happy with their work.

I appreciate how seriously Nathan took my concerns about my dead and dying trees... as well as how quickly him and his team were able to take care of the issues. In an already busy time, due to the storms, they squeezed me into their schedule. They also gave me the most affordable bid which included more than i asked for. I'd reccomend them to anyone hands down!

An honestly incredible experience! We had an 80-foot Douglas Fir removed after it died this spring, and the Herford team was a dream to work with. We got three quotes for the job, including from a tree service we had previously used, and Herford beat them all by a wide margin. Most impressive though was the expertise and care that the team conducted the work. Every one of the guys were kind, professional, detailed, and thorough. Our yard looked better after they left than it did before. And they were also quite gracious with our inquisitive 13-month-old looking on! Thank you Herford! I highly recommend River! I had concerns about numerous very large trees potentially falling on my house that's situated in a densely forested area. After assessing the condition of dozens nearby trees, he found two that were very concerning, and explained the reasons why. Within a day or two after calling him back, he removed a 135' tall locust, and huge maple that were very tricky due to overhanging the house and large deck. He strategically and carefully lowered them down in pieces safely. My neighbors noticed what a great job he did, and he removed a cedar, and two giant maples overhanging their house the next week.
It feels like I went to a tree removal academy. He and his crew were more than happy to answer all of my questions, and educate me about the tools and techniques of the trade throughout the day! I couldn't be happier with his work, price, and professionalism. Thank you again River!!
