Bear Mountain Electric

An electrician was supposed to head over to my rental house and call with an estimate 2/27. I called in the afternoon because I had a morning appointment and hadn't heard from them yet. At first I was told I wasn't on the schedule...okay...disappointing but I was scheduled for the following week during that phone call. Receptionist called me back 10 min later and said the electrician actually spent 3 hours at at my property that morning.

I was disappointed they didn't call as requested before doing the work. I asked for a call back from Tyler, who I understand is the owner. I was asked to confirm my phone number and email to receive an invoice. I didn't receive a call or invoice via email and a few days after the work, I emailed them to remind them I needed an invoice (3/5). Nearly a month later (4/1) I received a call letting me know my invoice was overdue. I never received one and I never got a response back from my own email inquiry.

The receptionist is incredibly rude and lacks any sort of customer service skills. She's snarky and takes no accountability. She originally told me I wasn't even on the schedule and then called to tell me they were actually at my home for 3 hours. Seems like company mismanagement and lack of communication at it's finest. She insisted she emailed me...she didn't. I paid my invoice the day it was received, 26 days after the work was done.

I will not be calling Bear Mountain again.

Bear Mountain came to our little cabin in
the woods in Central Oregon to do a service change. They did all the leg work obtaining permits and contacting the power company. They were in and out in a day. They showed up when they said and did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

Couldn’t be happier with my experience with Bear Mountain Electric. From the first interaction when I called, all the way through until the job was complete. This is a professional outfit.
