I interviewed another solar company before deciding on AES. Brett was prepared for our first meeting and explained a complex system well and in detail. All the installers of the solar panels and electrical system and their availability to answer my questions throughout the process was first rate. One of the guys installing roof panels took a drone video of my place and put it on line for me to see. I live in forestland and my house is tall so I'm unable to see the panels. This was a nice bonus free of charge. While on the roof they took off and reinstalled my chimney cap so I could clean it. Jared who installed the wiring showed up early and worked all day without taking breaks so he could get home to his family at a decent time. He also redid some wiring at hadn't done correctly for my 240 electric car fast charger and put in a breaker and wiring for my backyard pond. There were times when these guys worked until evening to finish a project. Paul has been available and made special trips out here to check on things. Always friendly and professional. I couldn't be happier with the whole project.

Echoing what another reviewer said, Brett and his crew are easy to work with, but professional at the same time. From the first meeting until I was checked out on the system, the procedure went very smoothly.

I'm a retired electrical engineer, and I appreciated the workman like attitude every worker showed, from the guys who attached the mounting racks and solar panels on the roof, to the electricians who made an art of bending some difficult conduit runs, to the very complete 3 ring binder containing as-built drawings and information on every component in the system.

I would not hesitate to recommend Advanced Energy Systems to anyone wanting a first class PV solar system.

We had a great experience working with AES all through the process. They were professional, friendly, and helpful, and I feel they went above and beyond what they had to do by painting visible conduits to blend in, trenching a larger conduit to avoid having it in a more visible spot, and adding extra gravel when finished to make absolutely sure things were in better shape where they were working than when the job was started.

I had a very positive experience with our residential solar installation from AES. The team was very polite, efficient, and they cleaned up nicely after themselves. Everything was explained clearly and there were no problems. All in all, a great experience.

If you are interested in adding solar to your home, do yourself a favor and call AES. My system is now up and running with 27 panels on the roof and 2 backup batteries in case of power outages. The AES team was wonderful to work with; they are professional, friendly, good communicators and very focused on the work that they do. It was a pleasure to have them here and I couldn't be more pleased with my system.

Advanced Energy Systems installed a solar system on our house. I investigated one other company and found AES cheaper and more professional. Justin was easy to work with and explained the process with good detail. The install was a little difficult in our house but progressed smoothly and worked out fine. There were a few communication issues with this difficult install, but these were remedied easily.

We cannot praise Advanced Energy Systems enough for the solar panel installation project they installed on our townhouse roof. Brett Moser's planning of the project made the project planning and implementation smooth. Throughout the project, he communicated often and clearly.

The installation of the panels was done by Luke and Jaymi. They were dependable in being arriving each day on time, efficiently and competently completing their tasks and communicated effectively with us as to what they were doing and what needed yet to be done. They were consistently on task and problem-solved the wiring needed between our garage and our 2nd floor roof without routing the wiring on the outside of our townhouse.

Since the activation of our solar system, we couldn’t be happier with how it’s working and its ability to reduce atmospheric carbon from our atmosphere. I would highly recommend Advanced Energy Systems.

Very seamless and upfront process. Payments for the install are upfront and simple to understand. The install team also was very professional and did top notch work. We didn't really loose any space in the garage, despite AES installing some significant electrical infrastructure. Also, the solar panels are lined up perfectly on the roof and the team was able to take an on-site request to leave me a walk-way for future cleaning [of the panels], which was super helpful. All and all we are very please. When they turned the panels on, the utility bill went to half of what it is normally, but that was middle-ish of the month. Can't wait to see what a full month of production does.

Just finished a grid-tied residential project with AES. I'm very pleased both the result and the process. Justin coordinated with the utility and contractor to make sure everything ended up working how he said it would. I'm a hands-on guy and Justin was very responsive and was able to answer all of my questions. Low-maintenance energy production! Wow! These folks rock! Top notch work, professional and friendly staff from estimator to installation technicians. Every step of the process was accompanied by excellent communication.. Clearly they are very experienced and intelligent, are hard workers and have the customers interest at heart. Their pricing is reasonable; the companies I checked all had similar pricing. So a pleasure to work with and our home roof installation is not just producing lots of electricity - it looks very cool as well.

Update! We are now charging our new Mustang MACH-E with our solar system. Pretty cool.

From our initial exploratory meeting with Brett to the first arrow on our meter indicating we're achieving our power needs with solar energy we have been impressed and glad we chose AES! Paul, Roundtree, Jared and the rest of the AES crew were professional, cheerful, their work stellar and the construction area clean and neat. We didn't lift a finger for the inspections, or paperwork to secure the Energy Trust Grants and their diligence got us even more money toward the system purchase. I’m a retired aerospace engineer so I did a lot of research and analysis of photovoltaic solar panel systems and companies before I chose AES. They have a great reputation and they certainly lived up to that from my experience. Brett led me through the system design and clearly answered all my questions, even the more in-depth ones. Paul and his crew did a fantastic job installing the system, in spite of the additional challenges of working during the COVID-19 pandemic. They were competent, professional, and great to work with! AES worked with Lane Electric to change out my meter for net metering and to integrate my house with the separately metered system for the out-building that my PV system is now on.
