Please be cautious of potentially dubious business practices. There was an announced visit to my residence, lasting less than five minutes, during which no work was performed. Despite this, an invoice for $150 was received and mentions the request for CASH ONLY . This situation raises concerns about the legitimacy of the business operations. I intend to escalate this issue to the Better Business Bureau due to the poor and apparent attempt at charging customers for the lack of work that wasn’t done. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE!

HRE is great! We needed our panel replaced. Lon came out for a quote and gave us excellent insight into what is needed for an inspection. He helped us understand what was needed, he worked within our time, financial and space constraints. He did exactly as he said he would, on time and great work! Honest and realistic expectations, will definitely hire again.

I recently bought a house that needed work. I bought the work from hood river electrical and i dont regret it. Lon was upfront and honest. He made me aware of some other challenges my new homes electrical system posed and we talked about options for future expansions and repairs. I trust him as an expert in his trade to do the job safely, timely, and within the quoted amount agreed upon. When the inspector came i asked him what he thought of the workmanship of the wiring. He told me "it looks perfect, cleanly routed, everything is to code." I will be using hood river electric for my future electrical work and i strongly recommend using them for your electrical work.

I had a poor experience with this guy. I do not recommend using him for any work on your home or business. I had to have a second electrician come in to redo the job. Mid-way through the job he decided it was too hard to hide the wires within the wall and still charged full price. Also 2 days after, sent an extra $260 bill for a permit that was never discussed.
