We hired proper electric Inc to install a hot tub and a new electrical panel. Not only did they do a fantastic job, they noticed issues from previous electrical work and repaired it so we were safe! Everyone in the company had exceptional customer service. A special thanks to Kenny and Tim who took care of us! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone needing work done

I had Proper Electric recommend in my neighborhood Facebook and was glad for it. Had them out to do two jobs (adding outlets in garage + EV Charger installation) and both were well done. Excellent communication and care through the process from bid to job finished. They will be my go to guys for anything electrical.

Working with this company was a pleasure. First of all, they returned my call (!) and got me scheduled in quickly. The electrician was right on time and got my ceiling fixtures installed, making sure I was happy with the way they looked. It was not as straight forward as I had thought, and he helped walk me through the options. I will definitely recommend them to others.

Contracted with proper electric for my main panel replacement. I was very pleased from start to finish. Kenny and Tim were great to work with. When I have need of residential electricians again I am very likely to go with them again.

Working with Proper Electric was great. Kenny was communicative with the bidding process, and very patient with me as I investigated changing the product scope over time. His installer, Tim, was one of the kindest and most dedicated tradesperson I've ever worked with. Dedicated to the task, very communicative, and I felt that he truly cared if the project was going to be a success and if I was going to be satisfied with the end result.
I'd recommend Kenny and Tim to anyone. -
We needed a new breaker installed for our dryer plug. Kenny at Proper Electric was so helpful and his business partner was able to come out the next week to install. They were very punctual and a pleasure to chat with. The job took him maybe 15 min and he asked if there was anything else I needed done since I paid for the hour. He ended up installing a new outlet in the garage as well. The price was very fair and I would recommend them to anyone needing reliable work done.

My experience with Proper Electric has been great. I have had him out 2 or 3 times for jobs ranging from utility grades to a remodel rough-in and finish. They were very quick and efficient with their time, no big messes, and great pricing.

We hired Proper Electric Inc for electrical work on our commercial renovation project. The initial estimate was around $14,000, which was already a significant expense for our small organization.
After the project was underway, the final invoice came in at more than $26,000, nearly double the original amount, with no written change orders, time logs, or prior notice of additional costs.
When I asked for a detailed breakdown of hours and materials, none was provided, and a new set of change order items appeared that had never been discussed or approved. The hourly rate billed was also higher than what was originally communicated.
Several parts of the project were left incomplete, and damage occurred during installation, including dropped lighting fixtures that damaged the floor, holes drilled incorrectly in the ceiling, and wall paint that had to be repaired. Though the work was never completed, they still demanded full payment and tried to pressure payment through the use of a lawyer. I was only able to resolve the matter after filing a complaint through the CCB.
Beware of low estimates from this company and do your due diligence by checking their record through the CCB.
