Great service! I needed updated lighting in my kitchen and Kenny knew exactly how to space everything to make it look good. He was very professional and was able to work around a drop ceiling in my old house that I didn’t know was there.

The Proper Electric team was fantastic! Super knowledgeable and helpful, really quick to respond and get us on the schedule, and communicative throughout. The quality of the job was also excellent and they finished the project in the estimated time. Would recommend to anyone.

We hired Proper Electric Inc for electrical work on our commercial renovation project. The initial estimate was around $14,000, which was already a significant expense for our small organization.
After the project was underway, the final invoice came in at more than $26,000, nearly double the original amount, with no written change orders, time logs, or prior notice of additional costs.
When I asked for a detailed breakdown of hours and materials, none was provided, and a new set of change order items appeared that had never been discussed or approved. The hourly rate billed was also higher than what was originally communicated.

Several parts of the project were left incomplete, and damage occurred during installation, including dropped lighting fixtures that damaged the floor, holes drilled incorrectly in the ceiling, and wall paint that had to be repaired. Though the work was never completed, they still demanded full payment and tried to pressure payment through the use of a lawyer. I was only able to resolve the matter after filing a complaint through the CCB.

Beware of low estimates from this company and do your due diligence by checking their record through the CCB.

I'd recommend these guys to anyone. On time, professional, and thorough. Explained what they were doing and how things worked. Had them come do a breaker panel inspection for the sale of my house and couldn't be happier with the service.
