McCord Construction built our interior space for our new commercial building. They are great to work with, on time and of course did great work. Appreciated the attention to details and made good suggestions to improve the project. Highly recommend them and will use them again.

Terrible experience with this company. They still have yet to complete (or communicate with me) on a job that was started last May (9.5 months ago). The work they did do had to be re-done and they will not commit to a day/time to finish my job, they just continue to give me the run around "we're short staffed but we should be able to get it done next week, we'll text you" and nothing...I love to support local small businesses but I wish I would've gone somewhere else. Hire at your own risk!

We are so disappointed. We really wanted to do business with Donivon and his company, McCord Construction. We requested a quote to replace a window, replace some siding, fix some gutters and do some painting. One of their estimators/project managers came out on June 28 and looked at what needed to be done. He told us that it would take 2 weeks to get us a quote. After 3 weeks, I sent an email asking when the quote would be ready. No response. I sent a message to McCord Construction’s Facebook account on Thursday, July 27 and got a response from Donivon on July 31 saying that they would send the quote in a couple days.
It has now been 5 weeks and we finally got a quote . We don’t know if our job was too small for them or if they don’t need the work but the numbers were exorbitant. $2,400 for a single 3x4 casement window and $3,250 to install it! A total of $4,650 to replace 1 window.
The quote said it would take approx 750 sq ft of siding but in reality, it would take less than 300 sq ft.
The price to paint the new siding, was $4,050. For 300 sq ft of siding and 20 sq ft of trim.
The quote from McCord Construction was more than double the other quotes that we got.
We have known Donivon for a long time and we have tried to do business with his company twice. The first time we were ignored. Very disappointing.
We will no longer be recommending this company to any of our friends, family or neighbors.

Donivan and McCord construction did a fabulous job. I had a tree fall thru my house, they were amazing. If you are looking for someone who does good work, very honest and ethical. I know hard to find these days but they care about the people and the project. They went above and beyond to make sure things were done right and looked better than before. I would recommend them everytime. Top notch company.

Donivon McCord, his employees and his subcontractors, deserve a whole sheet of gold stars. My husband and I had a complicated project starting with the tear down of the existing, rotted house that was on the property, to the completion of a new house using the old foundation. The whole project was completed in 9 months. It was critical to us and specifically, me, to be deeply involved in this project. Several companies we interviewed required that we use their design consultant. As that is my strength, we did not want or need a design consultant, so it was great to work with a team that respected my choices. Being a woman, this can be an issue, but not here. This was not our first big project, so we knew what we wanted and there were no issues with our purchasing tile, lighting, sinks, fixtures, etc., ourselves. All the employees and Donivon deferred to us, but mostly me, as I was the one on site and had been the most involved in the design of the house. When they had a suggestion of how to do something better, they checked in with us and explained the change to us, so that we had all the information we needed to make the best decision for the build. The employees showed up every day and Donivon checked the site frequently. He was always available by phone or text. The result was a fantastic house. It is everything we wanted and it came in on budget, and in our opinion, in record time. If you are considering using McCord Construction, do not hesitate. They, their crew, and their subcontractors are all skilled, reliable and responsive. My husband and I highly recommend McCord Construction.
