Recently noticed that our 25 year old deck was a little bouncy, and saw that is was due to the fact that the primary support beam had completely rotted through. I met with a number of contractors, and was most impressed with Dari Loud's professionalism and attention to detail. He was the only one who made multiple measurements and thoroughly examined the surrounding contours of the hillside. Then, when his bid came in, it was significantly lower than other's I'd spoken with. To add to that, he was able to complete the job of jacking up the deck and replacing the beam that weekend and completed the job in one day.
I cannot recommend him and his crew enough.

I have gone here a few times in the past, but this time I needed specific plants that I couldn't find anywhere else. And I needed some cat-friendly plants. The woman who helped me knew exactly where everything was and which were cat-friendly. And they had the exact plants everyone else was out of. They take excellent care of their plants, are extremely knowledgeable, helpful and not expensive. The only place for me from now on.

We love deep creek garden center!! We get the best Christmas trees from there!! Our tree this year is so full and gorgeous! The staff members are always so kind and helpful!! Highly recommend deep creek to evwryone!

We've used Pannell Floors for two jobs now and they did a great job each time. First job was a staircase down to basement and second included three rooms and another staircase. Colt and Dave were great to work with each time. Quality carpet install, replied quickly, and cleaned up well.

Every year its the same thing... opening weekend they are rude, unhelpful, and argumentative. They seem to think that they are doing you a favor by allowing you to spend your money at their establishment. When, in fact, there are lots of nurseries out there who would love to have my money, not to mention the big box stores.

I'm done, no more chances for Deep Creek, I'll just drive out to Al's Garden Center where I'll spend a little more money for sure but I will be guaranteed to be treated with respect and appreciation.

We had Dave Farwell redo our gas fireplace with natural river rock. He did it quickly, beautifully and professionally. The price was very reasonable. He also had insights on load bearing that other contractors didn't discuss. Very happy with the work!

Watch out for those people, they will rip you off.
I got a black-eyed Susan for $14.95 2 weeks ago & today my husband went there to got me 2 more. There was no price tag so when my husband asked price they told him $30 ea. For the same exact thing, they charged him double.
They raised the price already from last year $12,99 ea now they are naming the price whatever they feel like it.
I have been going there for over 6yrs & spent at least over $300 each yr used to be a nice place but I don't know if a new owner or not but people are very nasty & I don't go there anymore.

They do not practice or monitor any of the requirements under the executive order. The little they do is all theater. They don't limit the number of customers, employees are wearing masks around their necks and NOT staying 6' away. They don't control the lines to check out and they told me I should have stayed home if I expect to be safe there!

I used Dave to purchase my carpet from Area Floors and Colt installed it. We chose the most premium rubber pad available and have no regrets. Colt did the installation and he was excellent. He showed up on time, worked hard the entire time he was here and cleaned up after himself perfectly. I would recommend anyone shopping for carpet installation to use Pannell Floors.

One thing I learned about installation of carpet is that it significantly improves the ability of the installer to stretch the carpet if it sits in your house overnight to acclimate to the temperature and humidity of your home. Not only does this improve the installation, it extends the warranty. You pay extra for this service as it takes his guys two visits to install the carpet vs just showing up and doing it. Colt removed and disposed of the old carpet and padding, then cut the new rubber padding to size, ran a double tack strip so I could run my surround speaker wires under the carpet then cut the carpet to rough size. We then cranked up the heat to around 74 degrees for the night to warm up the carpet so it can stretch better.

It looks and feels outstanding. I'll use Dave and Colt when we need the rest of the house done. They are responsive, professional and price competitively. There was very little waste or leftover (which we regret), but it's a testament to how accurate Dave orders to minimize cost of material. I would recommend this rubber padding under any rug or runner vs. what is available to purchase online or through Amazon...even the expensive 1/2" rug pads. The rebound is so much better and easier on your feet, it feels luxurious!

We couldn't be happier with the work Dave's crew did in replacing our kitchen floor and the carpeting in our house. Dan, the floor guy, even returned on his own to fix an area that he wasn't happy with the first time. They all arrived on time and finished in record time. The results were amazing. I'd call Dave again if I had any other flooring jobs to get done, and I would certainly recommend him to anyone else looking for reliable and experienced work.

So there I was, newly moved to Gresham and BADLY in need of some patio decor and plants.

As the daughter of a landscaper, I have a fondness for garden shops even when I don't have a garden, so when we were moving into the new place, I decided to check them out.

(FYI, they close at 6pm SHARP during the week, so I was always arriving just as they pulled the gate closed. Eventually I managed a Saturday trip.)

The staff was friendly, but not over-solicitous, and the prices seemed good. All the plants looked to be in good shape and healthy.

I purchased a few small herbs & such for a container garden, and was lucky enough to catch the end of the rosebush sale. So, I got a gorgeous 3 foot tall rosebush with orange/yellow/pink roses for about 25$. In the month I've had it, there's been a nice bloom or two every other day, and the bush is thriving, despite my inexperience with roses.

Always find beautiful plants to put in my garden here! The people are wonderful and very helpful with any and all questions! Highly recommend!

I stopped here on a total whim and think about it every day! Haha no seriously I do! While this place IS rather small they have such an incredible selection and for such great prices. They are honestly less expensive then any other nursery that I've been too and I've been to A LOT. The women working was super sweet and asked if I needed any help and I honestly could barely speak because of a $10 stunning Alocasia regal shield that caught my eye. Normally regal shields go for $45+ in Portland and I REFUSE to pay that much...EVER for a plant. In any case I just want to express over and over how much I love this place and I'll definitely be making another trip soon!

We had David and his crew install stacked stone on a house we were siding. He was super responsive and came out to give us a bid on the day we contacted him, he had the bid to me that night. His bid a competitive and he showed up when he said he would and finished the job on time and did an awesome job!
