My excellent review is particularly for the task of swapping out the AC unit exhaust vent cap on a very steep high roof, coordinated and organized by Dale. The cap had deteriorated, permitting birds to enter, nest, and so on, resulting in a blockage. It was a bit strange that they were unable to unblock it themselves. I had to take care of the clog before they came, using my own AC vent cleaning equipment with extendable rods, which wasn't too difficult. Furthermore, I wish their routine AC maintenance service was more competitively priced. It's double what it ought to be, which is why I didn't hire them for that service. i had my ac go out during a stretch of really hot weather, right when i had guests staying over. after calling around to different ac repair services, Zachary from Owen & Sons Heating & Air Conditioning got back to me the fastest and came out to take a look. he quickly figured out that the motor was burnt out and the compressor was also failing. he explained all my options and it was clear the best thing to do was replace the whole outside unit. he left to get the new parts and finish up other calls, but promised to return that same evening. about four hours later, he came back with a new 4 ton condenser unit and worked for a few hours getting everything installed, including capturing the refrigerant and taking out the old parts. by the end, i had cold air again, and it just took overnight for the house to fully cool down, which is normal. Zachary also made sure the drain pipe was clear by blowing air through it, and he gave me a helpful tip about using a little cleaning vinegar each month to avoid clogs. he even noticed that my old unit wasn’t installed up to code and moved it so future repairs would be easier. really appreciated the extra effort and attention to detail.

this is a great team! dale was friendly and made sure we always knew what was happening with our furnace repair. leonard and zachary worked on our furnace and really did a fantastic job. they were very careful, skilled, professional, and polite. they double checked everything to make sure the furnace diagnostics were correct, and while doing that, they found another issue with the fan motor. they ordered the part and came back soon after to get the heat working on our second floor. they worked hard in the hot attic and never complained, even during a heat wave. overall, the whole experience in lake oswego was excellent and the service was top quality.
