The company is very honest. They did the EV wall charger for us, and gave us very reasonable quote. The work was done very well and finished as they expected. For sure, we will call them again whenever we need electricians.

I hired J&K for my new cabin build, to bring electricity to the cabin, install the wiring and so on. That's what I thought the bid covered. They did the
"rough in" in timely fashion, but it was incredibly frustrating over the next year to get the rest of the work done and stuff had to be tweaked and fixed, as well, which always took awhile and multiple phone call and texts. This isn't all, though. The invoicing was a mess, with double billing once, even, and then, in the end, a final invoice for thousands of dollars after I'd already paid for aspects of the job exceeding the bid by $1000. What a mess. They claimed the last invoice for close to $4000 was for stuff "outside of the bid" but they never told me about anything outside of the bid BEFORE they did it. Just this big surprise invoice at the end. They're nice guys, but no way can I recommend them for your project.

We had our circuit breaker box from 1962 replaced. J&K was on the dot on time for every scheduled appointment. On the day of replacement they got it done and the power back on by 1pm. We had one little issue we discovered later in the afternoon that was not their fault (faulty new material) They came right back and fixed it. Seriously awesome group of people!

Back in 2001, I had a really terrible experience with this company… BUT in 2025 the new owner, Trystan, reached out to me directly to address what happened back then and make it right. The willingness to reach out to address and offer to fix what happened under someone else’s management says a lot to me. I had some additional work done (and then some more!) - and am super happy with the professionalism around the quote process, ongoing communication, service, and actual work completed. Austin came to do the installs at my house and was knowledgeable and friendly. Thankful that the really bitter experience turned into a good one.

After attempting to replace an outlet in the bathroom for literal HOURS, my partner contacted Tristan at J&K electrical nearly 8pm on a smoldering summer evening. Our entire upstairs electricity was out including the AC so by this time I was exhausted and frustrated. I spoke with Tristan about an appointment and agreed to a time the next morning. With the hour; sweaty, dirty and suffering, I called Tristan back and he kindly informed me that he could send a tech within the next 40 minutes. I walked outside for a breath of fresh air when I promptly was called by the tech Kory who was already on his way. When Kory arrived within the half hour, I was so distressed that I could hardly get a sentence out to describe my problem (the outlet had caught fire and filled the upstairs with smoke. I had turned the breaker off and gone to home depot, replacing the outlet myself.) Kory had barely walked into the bathroom doorway and immediately knew what the problem was. I continously complimented my work and informed me that I was "SO CLOSE!" Kory was kind, informative and professional. I tried to step out and give Kory space to work but he was courteous enough to educate me on what I had done wrong. His explaining was so captivating and informative that I had to stick around and listen to his knowledgeable explanation. (Maybe a little ego boost for me too.) The appointment literally took all of 3 minutes for him to switch the wire that I had placed incorrectly, screw the outlet back into the wall and replace the cover. Immediately the air conditioner kicked back on in my sweltering apartment. I almost cried. To Tristan and kory; you were my heros that evening. I appreciate you so much. If I ever have a problem again you'll be the first place I call and the only electricians that I'll be recommending to friends, family, strangers, the internet, and so on.. thank you again for saving the day (maybe my life.)

Highly recommend this company! Trystan organized two emergency electrical problems for us at Empire Property Management on a weekend with very efficient timing. The prices are very reasonable and the customer service is amazing.

The J and K Electrical team was excellent to work with. Tristian was great at communication and I felt like I completely understood what was going to happen and how much it would cost right up front. They are very reasonably priced and creative in the work they did. They installed a new transfer switch for our whole house, now when the power goes out we have great piece of mind thanks to J and K Electrical.

I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs. Trystan was an excellent communicator and provided a thorough bid with the promise of the final bill not exceeding the bid. Austin came out just a couple of days later to complete the job. Both were professional, kind, very helpful and great listeners. Austin had to get very creative with our small job and he came up with a fantastic solution for us. We'll be calling them again, for sure!
