Company quoted one price and then after the part was installed we were charged a much higher price. Was told the owner would call us back regarding the matter but he never did. This took over six weeks of being told the owner will call back. We ultimately had to resort to sending an email of which we finally received a reply that stated we should be happy because they could have charged us more and that we got a great deal.
We are seniors and we learned a valuable lesson. We will never agree to any type of repair without getting it in writing first.

Renhard H&C is, by far, the best HVAC company we have ever worked with. We only wish we had found them sooner it would’ve saved us a lot of money and bad experiences! Loren and his whole team have been great to work with and are very fast with their response time and resolutions every time we have had an emergency issue pop up. 10 out of 10!!

I chose Renhard’s because they’ve been in business in Newberg for 65 years. As longtime Newberg residents this seemed like a great place to start looking for estimates. Tannyr came out the same day to give us an estimate on replacing duct work. Jeral and Jakob came out a few days later (in the snow) and had the new ducts installed, including fixing another problem not originally found. The technicians were so kind and professional. It’s difficult finding a company that feels trustworthy and reasonably priced. We found this in Renhard’s. I just can’t recommend them enough. Thank you so much to the whole Renhard team!

Briannah promptly answered the phone after just a few rings and was courteous. I told her I had an odd question. She transfered me to Tannyr. I told him NNG (Northwest Natural Gas) was here the day before and shut off our gas due to an improper install by another hvac company failing to install a regulator 3 years ago when home was built. ( I called the original installer who had 30 years experience, they had no desire or urgency to help our situation). We had no heat, hot water, etc. Tannyr came out the same day an estimated. I agreed to the estimate and scheduled the install on Thursday. Briannah called later that day and said good news, we can have Jakob and Brandon out tomorrow. (A day sooner). They arrived on time, were super pleasant and made the install in a timely manner. Was able to call NNG same night and have our service restored. We are pleased with their service & highly recommend Renhard Heating.

Very pleased with our oil furnace repair and servicing today. Renhard company was prompt and polite when answering their phone no long delays for an appointment. Technician today was on time, polite, discussed what he did and made a follow up contact to make sure everything was running great. Explained some stuff about my system that was installed by another company in 2019 that they never explained to me.

I called Renhard, on the recommendation of a neighbor, when our heat pump quit in the middle of winter. They came out the next morning and we were up and running in a couple of hours. We had 2 different service calls from another service, and many $ later we still experiencing problems. They said we probably needed a complete new system. Loren was able to diagnose what they failed to address, and fixed it for a 1/3 of the cost.
I couldn't recommend Renhard more highly.

These guys are awesome! 1st time I called, they helped me fix our issue over the phone. 2nd time they came out and checked everything and said because it was to cold (winter) they would have to come out when it’s warmer to check the ac part of our heat pump. Reassured us our heat was good! No charge! Told them I would see them this summer. Sadly in June we lost our house to a fire. Called them to service our heat pump at our mew place as I have no idea of service history and age. Lance came out told me everything I needed to know and I am feeling relief!!! I have and will continue to recommend them! Also I signed up for their yearly service maintenance No more worries! Thank you Lance and Renhard!!!

I am very happy with this company. The call for appointment setting as a start was both pleasant and accommodating. Promptly before the appointment date as well as arrival time, I have received text updates including a link for tracking the technician. The technician arrived very promptly. He is very knowledgeable and thoroughly explained to us step by step of his orders of inspection. The problem was identified quickly and resolved within an hour. I learned that this company is local family-based, who takes great pride of what they do. The price is also quite reasonable. Both business communication and technical skills are top rated. I will use them again.

Our heating/cooling motor in the attic went out so we didn’t have any air conditioning in these last warm days of summer.

He had my new motor ordered that day
after a complete and accurate diagnostic test.

Joe came out and helped me diagnose a furnace problem in 5 minutes (thermostat was the culprit). I was even late getting home and he waited for me for ~15 minutes. I told him I already had a thermostat on order so he didn’t even charge me for the service call. Excellent and fast service - I had only called the day before. Highly recommend!

Very good installation. Will highly recommend them. When we had a question about furnace they came out immediately and fixed problem. Very happy with them. SCOTT CAME out 7 17 25. Checked all out found coolant a little low. Will schedule to remedy later. All else was great. He was very informative and courteous.. I give him a A+.

This was my favorite home service I have ever received. They got me on the schedule and got my work done ao efficiently. They updated me throughout the work being done. There was ample respect towards my child care business being present, and being respectful and thoughtful of the environment.

I used this company for years at our old house . Paul Renhard was our technician for several years at our house in Oregon city . Very fair prices. I was charged for a filter replacement today for 150$ a 4 dollar filter. This is after they over booked me when it was hot and made me reschedule for week later. Not happy with this , over charging for a simple service call that just replaces a 4 $ filter. I've been in business for 30 years and wouldn't get repeat customer or referrals this way.

Renhard is one of the few contractors who actually respond to your online inquiries, which was helpful. The maintenance service we received was exceptional. Renhard is the BEST! When our oil furnace failed, finding a replacement was extremely difficult since oil heat is a vanishing breed. Loren searched the entire country and found what we needed. Pricing was very fair. Their crew is excellent. Joe knows his oil furnaces, and Jacob and Brenden were polite, careful and knowledgeable. (They also inspected our a/c unit and told us it is in good shape and doesn't need replacing. No effort to up-sell, which is refreshing.) I would highly recommend them for any heating and a/c work. We won't call anyone else!
