Employees go through extensive training on how to avoid helping customers.

I wish I knew the name of the middle aged woman I spoke with in customer "service" but I don't. I waited in line about 15 minutes without anyone making eye contact with me or acknowledging I was there. Then when I finally am helped she says "What do you want?" I worked customer service for years, and I would have had my a$$ handed to me if my attitude was ever that bad. I tell her I need advice about installing a portable AC unit in an odd window. Before I even finish asking my question she says "I can't help you with that. I don't know anything about that." Well duh. If she'd let me finish I would have asked who/in what department could I find someone to help me. Of course her eventual answer is "go to plumbing." No "I'll have someone meet you in plumbing" or "let me call someone to help you with that." SO rude and so frustrating. I loath going to this Home Depot because I can NEVER find anyone to help me. That's why I went to customer service in the first place! They either need to hire more people or retrain most of the current employees on asking if they can help you find something. Or just put a freaking map up. I'd even be happy with that! Anyway, when I was finally able to track someone down (no thanks to customer service), he was friendly and able to answer my question , so at least there was that. I'm a pretty patient person, but this place is on my last nerve!

You're average big box home improvement shop. Just don't buy carpet from then. Romanov, their contracted installer, isn't very good. I to have them come and redo the carpet since they installed it sloppily the first time. (Mismatched grain, seams not closed up, saggy areas)

I'm currently remodeling my house & was planning to have HD do my entire remodel. I had the HD contractor come measure my kitchen & give me an estimate for cabinet installation - it was outrageous! DO NOT have Home Depot install your cabinets!!! Get on Angie's List & find another contractor - so much cheaper! I received quotes on a couple different cabinets & was told the ones I wanted were on sale thru July 24. I called the store on July 22 to purchase. I talked to Tom in the kitchen/appliance section and he has the worst customer service skills ever!! He told me the sale ended the day before, and that I couldn't get my cabinets for sale price. When I told him I'd have a different store (not HD) remodel my entire house if I couldn't get sale price, he just said 'ok.' After that, I called the manager & he gave me the sale price. Customer service is very hit or miss here. I'd go somewhere else if it wasn't so close. DO NOT work with Tom in the kitchen/appliance section unless you want someone who really doesn't care about you or your needs.

Purchased Roybi Blower. Paid for extended warranty. Metal ring that pull cord went through was defective, so I took it in for the FREE repair. I told them not to mess with anything else. Against my expressed opposition the repair person adjusted the carburetor. They charged me $50 to take it home and it never worked right again. After 10 uses, it never worked at all.

The workers that did the install were great. The process and communication through Romanoff was horrible and left my holidays in a chaotic mess.

Communicated when they would be here and showed up on time and were very diligent in working and got in and got out quickly. We love how the carpet looks.

Wonderful, informed and generous contractor. NW Columbia heating for new furnace when old furnace went out. Came in a timely manner. The installers worked their tails off. Very, very pleased with this company. Many thanks.

We are very happy with our carpet installation. The installers came and looked at the situation thoroughly before installing the carpet. They cleaned the areas before and after they put the new carpets down and we could not be happier.

I manage a HVAC business and we use Pacwest Drywall whenever we need patch work done. Easy to work with, schedule and they do great work! I recently had them come out to my house because we had some sheetrock damage. Happy customer for life.
