Michael at Better Basements and their entire crew were absolutely phenomenal! They displayed unmatched excellence in customer care which resulted in an elevated, top tier experience for myself and my client. I highly recommend Michael and his crew! The BEST!!

After a tough experience with an independent contractor who swore they could fix our flooding crawl space but provided shoddy work, we found Better Basements and Waterproofing.

We had three separate companies come out to provide a quote, and Better Basements was the quickest to send the quote, and had the most user friendly interface. Their quote provided options for customizations to fit our needs and financing was available, which we ended up using. Approving the quote and scheduling the work was quick and seamless, and they had availability within two weeks of providing the estimate.

The crew worked over the course of two days and was punctual, professional, and considerate of our space. Each day they checked in with an update on what work was done, what more was needed, answered any questions, and hauled away debris.

Paying was easy, and their financing partner also provides great customer service if you have any questions throughout the process.

Having to have emergency crawlspace repair is not fun for anyone, but everyone from Better Basements was fantastic to work with. Michael assured me that doing a new drainage solution was all that was needed and did not try to push encapsulation like other companies that i got quotes from. They also had the most fair price including all new insulation installation. Fernando and his team did a great job with the install. They worked efficiently, were careful of the inside spaces of our house and cleaned up each day. I would encourage anyone needing crawlspace work done to get a bid from Better Basements.

We needed to have our crawlspace cleaned and Better Basements did a fantastic job of communicating, providing information and options. Cole's suggestions were thoughtful and hadn't occurred to me, so I was happy to get that prior to booking. They were quick to schedule and Al completed the work incredibly fast. It's never great learning you have an expensive home repair needing to be done immediately, but this painful process was made much smoother with everyone I worked with. From Cole, who managed the quote, to Janae who answered and handled billing questions and appointments, and reminders.
Upon arrival the whole team were friendly and personable, Graham walked me thru each process daily in the morning and afternoon. His team of Ian, Fernando, Jacob and Bryan were spot on. Every afternoon, the workspace was cleand and ready for the next day. They all took care to dust proof my living areas. I work from home and was concerned the noise would really hinder my workday, but I barely heard the jackhammer and other construction noises. Overall, I am very pleased with the professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail Better Basements showed throughout the entire process.

Fantastic experience. Friendly technicians Fernando, Bryan, Wyatt, and Hector showed up on time and with smiles on their faces. They did an excellent job on our project which involved new vapor barrier, new sump pump and trench and piping. Also installed a venting fan to help wth humidity and heat; and new ceiling insulation was installed. Cole, our initial contact was thorough. Answered all our questions and came back and inspected the work on the day the project was completed. Highly recommend Better Basements and their crew!

We had a great experience with the team who worked on my crawl space. They were extremely clean, professional, and respectful of my home throughout the entire process. They installed a French drain, a sump pump, and replaced the old vapor barrier. The difference it made is incredible—hopefully no more moisture issues, and the crawl space looks so much better. The crew showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and left the area spotless after the job was done. I truly appreciate the quality of work and the attention to detail.

Crew arrived on time and began work right away. Al was very friendly when we met and each time we had contact. There were not two workers for the amount of work to be done. They completed the job I just 4 hours which really surprised me. I went into the crawl space and looked around. All was well done and looked great.
I had had a rat problem and they had pulled down a bunch of insulation and created quite a mess. These two workers did a great job clearing out the mess and left a much better looking crawl space. I had a gut feeling what it was going to cost to lean up the mess and Better Basements came in at a cost I was hoping to get the job done for. Very happy camper. Thank you to the entire crew from the estimator who taught me a bunch about what needed to be to results the crew provided.

We had a great experience with using Better Basements to resolve water issues in our finished basement. Dylan and his crew were fantastic to work with. They showed up on time, tidied up the work space at the end of each day and were great at communicating next steps. Prices were fair and in line with other estimates we received. We needed to demo walls and flooring in order to put in drainage/sump pumps and Better Basements was able to refer us to an outstanding construction company to assist us with both the demo and build back. We’re very happy with the results and would highly recommend this company.

Great service. Honest guys. Came out to install some insulation in our crawlspace. While here they inspected the sump pump they installed previously and saw some things that could have been done better and reinstalled pump at no cost as all was under warranty. Thank you!

Michael was wonderful to set up with, and Fernando, Edgar and their team did a fantastic job with our sump pump installation! Super professional, super friendly, really cool dudes! They made sure to clean up really well, left no trace of mud anywhere and double checked with us about placements and warned us about fumes. They were fantastic! 1200/10 you will be in good hands with them!

I have a very old home early 1900’s and this last year was the worst flooding in my basement I ever had so I called Better Basement and Waterproofing talked to Michael who explained what needed to be done and we set up a time for the crew with Graham and Ian and their crew to come over and do the work in my basement and it looks great I’m very happy and would recommend them.. I’m starting the new year off with a dry basement .
