About the business:

Metro had humble beginnings back in 1983, running out of the basement of the family home. Hard work, long hours and an unfailing belief in the American Dream has built a business with a solid reputation in the fire equipment industry that now supports 21 families. Operating out of a 10,000 sq ft shop in southeast Portland, Metro is truly a full service fire protection/life safety service company. The owners are actively employed with the business and are also active in the fire equipment industry trade associations: NW Fire Alarm Association, Oregon Fire Equipment Distributors, National Association of Fire Equipment Distributors, and National Fire Protection Association.
