Mover reviews in Portland, Oregon

My roommate hired movers from Cal's and as my first time... wow! Thinno and Brandon were great! They were able to come in a lot earlier than our estimated time and were super efficient, even if I wasn't with my packing. They even moved my vintage sewing table with some serious love and care. Thank you so much!!

This was the second time I used Cal's Moving to move within the Corvallis area. This time is was a much larger move, required two trucks and five guys. They arrived exactly on the time that was scheduled and went right to work. They listened to our directions for which rooms to pack and how the boxes were labeled. They gave great suggestions for a smooth packing process. Even repaired a broken foot on an antique piece! Thank you Chris, Kyle, John, Preston and Nathan. This is my go to moving company. I definitely recommend Cal's Moving.

Anthony and Cruz made my couch delivery so easy! They communicated with me on their arrival along the way and then was friendly and quick when they arrived. Would definitely recommend!

Thinno and Antonio took care of our family move and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. They’re true pros when it comes to long distance and residential moves.

Cruz & Thinno just delivered our sofa and recliner. They were very courteous and friendly. They unloaded the sofa parts and quickly re-assembled it in our family room. Really appreciated their great service.

Very polite and efficient crew. They showed up for work and boy did they get cracking . We opted to do most of the packing and that brought the cost down considerably. They moved furniture around for us to come up with a workable arrangement in our new living space. Jake was very professional and engaging, a good listener, knows his job , stays in touch with us and his crew. Very satisfied. As seniors we thought Jeremy Chris and Saul were very accommodating.

Jessie and Anthony were very respectful and kind. They were careful with all our belongings and moved everything safely to the new home. They helped to put furniture in the place we wanted and moved things around if necessary. We highly recommend Cal's Moving and Storage!

Excellent service start to finish! Easy and prompt communication with the office... check- in call the day before to make sure they had everything we needed. Jeremie and Chris were rock stars! We had everything from decorations to antique furniture and it was all handled with care.
We will need moving services again in a few months and will absolutely be using them again!

Hands down, best move I've ever experienced, personal or commercial, in the Portland metro, within the past 15 years.

Accommodating, fast, professional, flawless and quick execution, great pricing. The owner is kind and friendly.

I've had some nightmare experiences before I found Cal's - Like when a competitor backed up the too-big moving truck into a neighbor's Lexus. Or the company that sent just 2 guys, tired from an earlier move in the day, so it took twice as long and cost twice as much :/

Save yourself the worry and book Cal's, it honestly doesn't get better in the area.

Shout out to Thinno, Gilbert, Alan, and Antonio, nice guys who worked hard & did a great job :)

This was a seamless move from an apartment downtown to our house in Sellwood. Jimmy and Chris were both very personable; as well as strong and efficient in moving furniture etc from an elevator building to a fairly tight house with staircases and steps. They did a great job taking down and reassembling our king size bed and hauling it up a narrow twisted staircase and low overhang. All said, great job and I would heartily recommend Cal’s Moving Service to anyone.

My movers Joe and Alex were superb. They went above and beyond for me. Extremely friendly and professional. They took great care of my belongings while working quickly. Would highly recommend Cal's Movers. Great communication with Niko as well as Joe and Alex from beginning to end. Thank you again guys for all your help!

Thinno and Lane helped with a full junk removal and clutter cleanup. They were respectful, fast, and made the place look brand new. Great option if you need both moving and junk removal services.

Chris and Uriah from Cal’s Moving & Storage did a fantastic job! They were on time, worked hard, and listened. I would highly recommend them!

I loved using cal’s moving & storage! they were absolutely great to work with. They arrived right on time, were quick and efficient, and made moving a lot less stressful. Brandon and Alejandro were great!

This month is 3 months late, I apologize!

I was referred to Cal’s from a friend also in the moving industry who couldn’t help my family of 3 move back in December. Cals was super receptive on the phone, on time and came with a big truck. They were mindful of floors and materials at the starting point and end point, were quick and I genuinely enjoyed talking with them. We had some problematic weather and our new home had some tricky stairs to enter and they still handled everything super easy. We had Joe, Antonio and Alex and they crushed it. Great experience, good price. We don’t plan to move again for a LONG time but if we do, we will reach out to Cal’s.

Cruz and Jeramie handled our long distance move on a tight schedule, and they were amazing. They stayed calm, efficient, and worked nonstop to make sure everything arrived on time and in perfect condition. Highly recommend them for both long distance and local moving needs.

Antonio and Nathan moved all of our studio equipment, including fragile electronics, and everything arrived in perfect condition. They took their time to secure every item properly. Ideal for commercial moving and equipment relocation.

Excellent customer service!!! My experience started out talking with Niko (manager) and then Cal himself. They took care of a small miscommunication and had things sorted out within minutes over a couple of phone calls. The day of moving, Austin and Matt showed up between the expected time window and absolutely knocked things out of the park. Both were friendly, courteous, and respectful of property while loading and unloading the truck. I was beyond pleased and most satisfied with my experience! I will most definitely use Cal's Moving & Storage again, and highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent moving help and care. Thank you Cal, Niko, Austin and Matt, you exceeded any expectations and excel at making your business thrive!!

Great group of movers, took pretty good care of our furniture (a couple little dents and scratches, but hard to avoid those altogether). They were extremely hard-working and very pleasant also. This was our second move with Cal's Moving, and we'd definitely use this company again!

I had an outstanding experience with Cal’s Moving & Storage! From start to finish, the team was incredibly professional, punctual, and efficient. They handled all of my belongings with care, making sure everything was securely packed and transported without a hitch. The crew was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure the move was stress-free. I couldn’t believe how smoothly the whole process went! If you’re looking for reliable and affordable movers, I highly recommend Cal’s Moving & Storage. They truly exceeded my expectations!

We have used Cal's three times now. We had them move appliances into our new home, empty out two storage pods, and move us out of old house into our new home. The whole process start to finish was so easy. Jake handled our estimate and booking. He was very communicative and prompt in responding. We had an all star moving crew! Uriah, Chris, Zack, Austin, and Miguel were all awesome. They handled our belongings with care and respect. I would highly recommend Cal's Moving.
