Reviews of local pros in Rickreall, Oregon

I have used the Oregon Woodsmen for years. They are the only tree service that I would use. From taking down massive fir trees next to my house to trimming fruit trees, this is who you want on the job. Highly recommend.

I just had three trees removed and some trimming done on another. Ryan and his crew did an excellent job. They arrived on time, worked efficiently and professionally, were very careful to ensure that nothing harmed the fence or my house and they did a great clean-up afterwards. I will be using them again next year and highly recommend them!

Had these guys out to remove a big cedar in my back yard. They did great. They where on time and got right to work. Very friendly crew and hard working.they wracked up my back yard so well if the wood was not back here you wouldn't know they had been here. I will be using them again to remove 1 more tree. I highly recommend using these guys. Thank you for the great job!

Great team! Efficient work, no wasted time. Cleaned up as they went. Took out a 120 foot fir tree. Professional!

Workers blocked my driveway and I had to ask them to move multiple times before they finally moved their truck. I even went back to grab something to give them more time to move and they still didnt move. They were working on my neighbors home and had plenty of space to load up their trucks/gear that didn't block anyone in. Please pay attention to your surroundings.

We just hired this company to do a job for us, they showed up early and were ready to work exactly when they said they would. They did such a great job, you couldn't tell they had been there, every tree was trimmed up nice and neatly and nothing left on the ground. Their prices were fantastic. Would use them again and highly recommend them for anyone needed tree service. These guys were great!!

Had our quote minutes after they saw the tree, while it took the competitor over a week.
The quote was almost 50% less than the competitor.
Getting a quote didn't involve pressure/upselling/lies, which was refreshing. The competitor went as far as lying about the protected status of our tree, trying to get us to rush to have them remove the whole thing before it was "too late."
Once we'd chosen Oregon Woodsmen, the job was completed on time as described and without any additional costs/surprises.
We would absolutely choose them again and recommend them to friends.

They did a very good job with some tree trimming I needed done. They even took care of some other loose branches above a play area in my yard that I had not contracted for just to make sure it was safe and didn’t charge me extra. They were efficient and cleaned up very well. The price they charged was very reasonable. Good work!

We have hired Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service two times in recent years. Both experiences have been extremely positive! The staff is knowledgeable and personable, the work is completed professionally and our trees look healthy and safe!

I called for a free estimate and that was done quickly. The price was very affordable and work was scheduled. They came and trimmed my tree beautifully and cleaned up after. I am vey happy with the results and would recommend them to everyone.

Great company! Needed 6 trees removed (stumps included), 2 preexisting stumps grounded, a ton of brush removed and even some leftovers removed from a prior tree removal. All of it was done for a very fair price and with great service that only took 4 hours thanks to a scheduling change that ended up with us moved up a whole week and a half, resulting in 2 crews being open to tackle the job. They even did a fantastic job cleaning up, even taking care of some messes on the lawns that were pre-existing! Truly a fine service and would not hesitate to recommend.

I hired Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service to remove a handful of trees on my property, and I couldn't be more impressed with their services. From the initial consultation to the final clean-up, their team exhibited the highest level of professionalism and expertise.

The crew arrived promptly and efficiently assessed the situation, providing me with a clear outline of the removal process and the associated costs. They demonstrated a deep understanding of the best practices in tree removal, ensuring that the process was carried out safely and with minimal disruption to the surrounding landscape.

I highly recommend Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service to anyone in need of tree removal services. Their skilled team, professional approach, and unwavering commitment to excellence make them stand out in the industry. If you're looking for a reliable company that delivers outstanding results, Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service is the one to trust.

A big thank you to the entire team for a job well done!

Oregon Woodsmen were out this morning to care for our large cedar that lost a limb during a wind storm recently. From the first visit by the owner to assess the project, to working with the office to schedule, and today having the work done, this experience has been incredible!

The crew was early to our house, thoughtful about access to properties near us, clear in sharing what was happening & assessing the tree, cleaning up and just being over-all friendly awesome humans.

Will highly recommend this team to anyone and will definitely use them again!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!

My project took 7 weeks from the initial request to completion of the project. It took 31 total emails back and forth to coordinate. It was slightly cheaper than other tree services by $800 dollars for one tree removal, 2 tree trimming, and 15 stumps ground. Total cost was 2700 dollars. I now have a lot of mess to clean up from the job. I asked for all debris to be removed. I personally wasn't satisfied and won't revisit this service next summer for my other jobs.

*In response to the business note, there was not expanse to the scope. This service was so slow and communication from the manager was less than desirable. I do not recommend this service.

We had several trees removed and a couple tall fir trees cleaned up of widow makers and unhealthy branches. The crew was very efficient and cleaned up afterwards leaving no mess. The bid process, scheduling, and work completed was all a very professional experience. I would highly recommend Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and will have them back if I have any future need for tree services.

Speedy quote and easy scheduling. Prompt, polite and excellent clean up! Great job on our tree removal.

The entire team is terrific! After they looked over the huge oak tree they went right to work and you could tell that they had all worked together for some time as no time was wasted. Their man in the tree (who must have been part monkey) wasted no time getting the ropes in place and then their serious work began. Their monkey man seemed to jump from place to place either freeing a load or fastening another piece to come down. I have seen many trees cut down before but never have I seen one that was so well organized. For me and then the neighbors it was like watching poetry in motion and what a delight it was.
As the last of the tree was being cut up the stump grinder moved into place and began devouring that 4 foot stump. By the time the grinding was done the others had everything cleaned up. Well darn, the show is over.
Also impressive was how carefully they avoided damaging the many flowers and bushes all around that massive oak. Now why can’t all tree companies be this good?

We had a yard full of overgrown trees and bushes. The crew from Oregon Woodsmen came out this morning and took care of everything in about three hours — they removed three huge bushes, then trimmed seven or eight trees, shaping them beautifully and getting rid of all the deadwood. They were accommodating, knowledgeable, and super nice, and they cleaned up everything and hauled it away—the price was reasonable, too. I’d recommend them without reservation and will be using them in the future to keep my trees maintained.

Jimmy and the crew did an excellent job trimming our nearly 70 year old honey locust! This is the third time we have used Oregon Woodsmen Tree Service and we will have them back again in a year or two. The quality of their work and attention to detail is impeccable and the crew members are always friendly. We highly recommend this company!

Friendly and competent

Great job 👍
