Construction Company reviews in Salem, Oregon

Pence NW helped us navigate the pre-construction maze and did so with incredible skill, professionalism, and kindness. We highly recommend them.

Brent Pence and his company did a Phenomenal job building out our office space for my real estate company here in Salem. They completed the job right on schedule and treated us like first class. I was impressed enough to have him now bid and look at building a shop for me at my personal residence. I would recommend this company to even my mother:) and I love my mother for clarification.......

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Pence NW, and I can honestly say they’re some of the most genuine hard working people I’ve ever met. Their care for the project is bar none. Every detail, customer satisfaction, every step in the process is cared for unreservedly. If you’re shopping around- this is your sign, look no further!

The entire team at Pence Northwest was fantastic to work with. They were professional and did a fantastic job with my office space. I would highly recommend them for your contracting needs.

Pence NW Construction came in to "clean up" after another contractor. I had the pleasure of dealing with Chad Montgomery. He kept me updated on my stores progress. It was nice to call and have him answer any questions I might have. He was especially helpful with the proper meters and utility set up. Thanks for suck great service!!!

We are very satisfied with the work that was done by Pence NW for the remodel of our Little Caesars franchise on North Lancaster. From the very beginning they were on point, from getting the estimate quickly, to being flexible on start/finish date, to staying within budget. Chad and Noah were both on top of everything, as they both kept me in the loop with changes or issues that came up. The quality of work from them and the subcontractors exceeded my expectations. They were able to work around the store hours as to minimize the disruption to the business, which was greatly appreciated. They always cleaned up the store for the next day so we were ready for business. I would highly recommend them for any remodel or construction project. Since the time my project has been completed, I have already reached out to them to do more projects that I decided to do at the store.

Pence NW Construction is one of the most honest crews a client could hope to meet! They truly strive for perfection. Not only do they focus on meeting your monetary needs- but they also make sure you’re getting what what you want within those needs. I can, in full confidence- recommend Pence NW for ANY construction project big or small.

We contacted Pence NW for a bid on a few smaller jobs as well as a large fascia replacement job for our warehouse. Brent, the owner, and his office manager, Sierra, immediately met with us to assess all of the jobs and discuss options. Brent is extremely knowledgable about commercial/industrial properties and lent suggestions for both aesthetic and structural improvements as we walked the property. Still being fairly new to the commercial side of real estate, finding the right contractors for commercial jobs can be difficult, to say the least. I drove away from the initial meeting with Brent and Sierra, feeling both confident and relieved.

We. Have. No. Regrets. There’s a reason you are seeing 5 star reviews. As things started rolling, Sierra was in regular contact, keeping us informed of progress and pulling us into the loop at various decision points. Sierra managed all coordination with building tenants during the course of the entire project and helped mitigate a somewhat tense situation that arose as the project was underway. Overall, any effort on our part was minimal.

We cannot be more pleased with the outcome of all of the work, but most specifically, the facia replacement - it took years off of an old and tired looking building.

It is obvious Pence NW is a well-run business. Brent and his team of employees are top notch and I would trust leaving any job, big or small, in their capable and reliable hands.

Pence Northwest and particularly Chad Montgomery did an exceptional job on our store remodel in Salem. He made sure he had all the details right and was very flexible if we wanted to change something. The quality and workmanship was wonderful. Chad even came up with some fixtures on his own that worked perfectly in our store for some special merchandise types in small spaces. It was a pleasure doing business with Pence NW and Chad....We went from a 2700 square foot Made in Oregon store to a 1500 square foot one and Chad understood all the issues involved in moving this store and making it great to work in.

Pence NW provides the friendliest and fastest service that I have found in a construction company in the mid-valley. Chad and Noah are knowledgeable and fun. I highly recommend using Pence NW if you are looking for quality residential or commercial contractors. Best experience I have had with a contractor. You will avoid a lot of brain damage and outlandish pricing if you call these guys first. Thanks so much for the great service Pence NW!

We cannot say enough good things about PenceNW. After a tree fell on our home we needed to move out for some time and had to rely on a contractor who could handle all phases of the project. We contacted PenceNW and did not look back. In fact, the only issues we had were with our mortgage company – PenceNW stayed with the project and created a home that we frankly cannot get over how nice it is and wonderful to live in.

PenceNW went beyond just doing the job. Along the way they made numerous suggestions on how to improve the home’s aesthetics. Normally, one might give pause to such suggestions – but not with PenceNW. An exterior door was relocated, hallway entrances were expanded, a new living room entrance provided, exterior pipes were relocated, new flooring installed, better electrics and a top-quality roof that will last a long time. These improvements were well within our insurance budget, something they were very conscientious of meeting. We also put some extra money into the project and were rewarded with a new bathroom, hobby room and redone kitchen. Again, they were aware of our personal budget limitations and worked with us to ensure our needs and budget limitations were met.

Before, we had a dark and somewhat claustrophobic home; now, the home is open, airy and very inviting. Our family, friends and neighbors cannot get over the home’s transformation. Every suggestion made by PenceNW improved the quality and enjoyability of our home. Working with PenceNW brought out the best of a nearly 70-year-old home.

We have no hesitation recommending PenceNW. You will be extremely pleased with quality of their work and also working with a great staff. Thank you Brent, Kat, Sierra, Chris, Austin and Willie and everyone who worked on our home – you are all amazing!

I had the opportunity to work with Chad at Pence NW. He was awesome. The whole process was totally seamless. He was able to work around our busy schedule and keep the impact on our business to a minimum. The turn around time on the job was great. The quality of their work was spectacular. The subs they hired were respectful and efficient. I am already in the process of hiring them for another job. If you are doing any commercial work you should definitely give them a chance to bid the job. You won't be disappointed.

We are so happy we chose Pence NW as our contractor for our remodels at our two Baskin Robbins franchises! From the beginning they were super easy to work with, consistently on time, and answered all of our questions along the way quickly and thoroughly. They listened to our concerns and worked with us on issues such as staying within our budget and completing the remodels off-hours so as not to interrupt our business hours. Noah at Pence NW was in charge of our projects. He worked very long hours to stay within our timeline and was easy to get in contact with to answer questions the whole way through. All the subcontractors (tile and drywall etc.) that were used in our projects did very high quality work. Noah kept our complete satisfaction and quality craftsmanship a top priority throughout the process. Overall, we had an extremely positive experience with Pence NW, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with an upcoming remodel/construction project.

Pence NW Construction recently completed an extensive remodel of our newly purchased building, and transformed it from warehouse and office space into a very beautiful and spacious medical office in just under 2 months. The finished product exceeded our expectations in every way. Their bid was very competitive, and true to their word, all construction was done by the project due date. It was an easy choice to trust Pence NW with our remodel, as we have worked with them before on the construction of our first office location several years ago. Brent, Chad, Noah and the rest of the staff are very professional, knowledgeable, and reliable, and the quality of their work is outstanding! They were diligent about communicating with us throughout the entire process, and any questions we had were addressed immediately.

We have now been in our new space 2 months, and are loving it. Our patients constantly comment on how nice the new office space is. And I’m happy to say that their customer service is still excellent. Anytime I have needed to ask a question regarding the remodel my calls or e-mails are returned immediately. Saying that I would highly recommend Pence NW Construction is an understatement.

Our Job just finished, occupancy was just granted and I wanted to get this review in immediately.
Pence Northwest did an excellent job completing our project. The team at Pence was timely, professional and thorough and had the needed attention-to-detail required for our job.
Brent Pence has assembled a great crew and Chad did an excellent job of managing our project on a short timeframe. Chad keep me informed throughout the process and kept all the subcontractors on time and moving forward to complete our project.
I would highly recommend Pence Northwest to complete your project!

Pence Northwest Construction great. We had owner Brent and his superintendent Austin at our home for 2 differnet projects. Was for a complete home remodel and a major tear out and reconstruction of 180ft retaining wall that was poorly put together between properties. They were both friendly. Brent was communicative with us on what to expect and when, and also was responsive to questions and ideas. He walked us through the process. Austin at the project site was friendly and also responded to questions if we had any when he was there. There team was timely, efficient, and professional, there jobsites were tidy and organized. The only delays we really had were due to waiting on supply chain issues, and when that happrn they communicated that as well. We will definitely use them again when the time arises.

Pence Northwest Construction is Top Notch! I absolutely love working with their team. Always professional and the quality of work is fantastic! Highly recommend them.

Pence Northwest was amazing to work with! They helped one of our borrowers rebuild their home, and throughout the course of construction they were attentive, kind, and professional! I worked mainly with Sierra Belknap, who is an absolute rock star! Her prompt communication style and professional demeanor made our time working together extremely easy going and she was very considerate regarding both company's policies and procedures. Hands down one of the best contractors I've ever worked with! 10/10, no notes.

There are so many good things to say about Pence Northwest Construction! Highly skilled, super efficient, beautiful quality work and very friendly! Brent Pence, the owner and project manager, was so patient with any questions we had. He was very knowledgeable and seemed to really want to make us happy! His team of workers were so quick, it was wonderful! We had a 180' retaining wall and fence put in. The project involved 2 of my neighbors as well and Pence Northwest Construction was able to make all three houses happy... no easy feat! They worked in the cold and rain of December and January quickly until it was finished. The end product is beautiful! I love, love, love it!

Thank you Brent, Austin and crew! We will definitely use you again!

Above and beyond tile job, would highly recommend. Easy to work with, up front and trustworthy.

I was very happy with the work and appreciated all the attention to detail
