Derek & Maria were wonderful in accommodating us when we asked for a last minute home inspection; and they did that after we had already needed to cancel on them once. In addition, Derek’s thorough inspection saved us from purchasing a home that needed way too many repairs. We’ve used pillar to post two times before and we will be using them for any future inspections!

Derek Renz and his assistant, Marie, are the two most professional people I have met in this industry. Whenever I have the need for a home inspection, I call them!

Derek is extremely thorough in his inspection, takes photos of everything he wants to bring to the attention of the buyer, both negative and positive, and he is always ready to answer questions for my buyers! Each client is provided with a complete report in a hard-bound binder at the end of every inspection, which includes seasonal maintenance tips for the future.

He also provides sewer scopes and radon testing, so he really is a full-service inspector.

Great inspection. This is my first time buying a place so I have been stressed. They were so nice, super informative and made sure all of my questions were answered. They took pictures and made notes, went through them with me so I was aware of the major things to the small things. They were priced appropriately and I would use them again or tell others about them:-) They also have great communication and are not hard to get scheduled with them. They gave me a quick report which I was thankful for!

William did a thorough and professional job of inspecting our house - from the crawl space to the attic and completely around the house inside and out. He thoroughly explained the printed report to us - with pictures, etc. in a nice 3-ring binder. He had some suggestions that we will follow up on.

We are purchasing our first home and I felt pretty stressed once we got our offer accepted to the next step in finding a knowledgeable inspector. I contacted multiple companies for quotes and honestly felt alittle panicked.
Marie from pillar to post was immediate to return my call and was kind and patient. She had appointment availability within 2 business days and quoted a very fair price. In addition , she had given me multiple appointment options immediatly which was very convenient and exactly what I needed. By far the best customer service around. ( for reference , 2 of the many other companies I called didn’t even return my calls, 3 were booked out 2-3 weeks , and one didn’t even accept phone call appointments!)
