I had a big maple tree split during the wind/rainstorm last week. The tree clipped my neighbor's house and a large section of the tree remained at risk of coming down. Robert, the owner, was there same day to assess risk. They were working jobs across the city, but Robert got me on the emergency list and came out the next day to re-assess where they could play their spider lift. The crew showed up, went over the job with me and got to work. The got down the dead section and took a lot of weight on the portion that is still healthy.

Before they left, the crew talked with my neighbors and I and removed one additional unsightly limb at the neighbors request. Def went above and beyond. I could not be more impressed.

R&R Teams Never Disappoint. They went above and beyond all expectations. R&R has provided the most excellent service for us over the past 8 years. We highly recommend them. Yesterday, Richard, Timothy and Abel removed dead trees and pruned our 30 ft willow tree that has taken over our front yard. The team called the God Squad (good name for them) worked efficiently, precisely, carefully, and with such tender loving care. Last week, another team led by Matthew from R&R removed dead trees and sculpted our old cherry trees into snags for our backyard birds. Matthew’s team pruned our trees that were encroaching on our neighbor’s yard and roof. All in all, we are more than pleased with R&R. The young men seem to love their jobs, and it is very fun to “talk story” with them about how much we love our trees, which are our favorite trees and why, tips on how to prune in early spring, other gardening tips and the ecosystems thriving in Oregon.

The worst service I have ever had from any company ever. I would give them a negative 4 stars if I could. They were schedule to do the work at 8am and I had taken half a days vacation because I have a fenced back yard that remains locked. By 10am I had to call them and ask if they were coming and the response I got was they decided to work on someone else contract that morning but not to worry they would be there in a few minutes. When I asked why they didn't call me and let me know they said, "well it's your responsibility to call us to see if we are coming". Seriously, no lie the said that. The workers show up at 12:05 and they say that can't get to the back yard until tomorrow, and I explain to them that means I'll have to take more time off. Their Foreman was understanding and called his boss and he told me they would have an additional crew out in an hour to do the back yard while his crew did the front yard. None of that took place. His crew immediately took a lunch break and didn't begin work until 1:30 the other crew showed up at 3pm and helped a the first crew. They stopped working at 4:30 and left 4:45 telling me they would have to finish tomorrow. Day two comes and I'm on second unscheduled vacation day and they tell me they can't do all the work I asked them to because one of the line items on the invoice isn't clear that they should perform that work. We have to wait an hour for the guy who quoted the job to come out and settle the confusion and he states, "he doesn't remember me asking for that work to be done so it doesn't get done". I begrudgingly ask him to tell me how much more he would charge to complete the job and that started off I fire storm of attitude from him. The man spoke to me like I was little child, belittling me and trying to provoke me. I demanded that he remove himself from property and told him tell his men to finish whatever work they came there to do. I ask R & R to prorate my bill for not completing the entire job and their response was I signed the contract for that amount and they did nothing wrong. I paid the full amount to keep my credit clean and I hired someone else to complete the job.

8-10-21 Just saw that R&R responded to my review. Clearly I don't use this thing very often. Lady I posted this review less then a week after your botched service. If you couldn't find my invoice knowing my last name and the first letter of my first name? Well I'm wondering if your really a business??

Wish there was a zero or negative star option. Find a different business. Be suspicious of the authenticity of any positive reviews and note how they try to discredit any negative reviewer or say it's fake - we fully expect them to do the same to this review. We used our joint email account for this review because frankly, their lack of ethics and rudeness make us wonder about the danger of getting on their bad side. R&R has atrocious customer service or a complete lack of it. We wouldn't recommend R&R to anyone, ever. We and our neighbors needed urgent help after the ice storm in 2021 when a huge tree landed partly on our garage and partly on their adjacent garage - and we ignored the bad word of mouth reviews because R&R was available. Wasn't worth it; we'd rather have the tree still sitting precariously on our garage. First, they refused to split the invoice between our neighbors work and ours for insurance purposes. Then the workers dropped part of the tree on our neighbor's house while trimming it, which did serious damage to our neighbor's siding. Then they said they'd fix it and their version of "fixing it" is having a guy show up without any scheduling / warning weeks later, in the evening, outside of work hours, without a license. After telling R&R that we / our neighbors wouldn't pay the remainder of the bill until our neighbor's damages were resolved, they didn't respond. We tried to pay the bill only to protect our credit, but their payment site is broken / buggy and wouldn't allow for payment. Then they sent a series of emails and eventually sent the bill to collections! No response to us telling them that their payment site wouldn't let us pay. No phone call. No addressing the actual issue. They are an unethical, despicable, rude, and unprofessional business. When we wrote to them about the collections notice, they had the audacity to be rude, blame us, and got snarky about every point. Never again. We will find every way to warn others about R&R with as many reviews as possible, a BBB complaint, and legal action if needed. Your reply to our review is exactly what we expected - rude and filled with lies to discredit us. We DID contact you about our concerns multiple times, before and after you sent us to collections. You are despicable people.

Today while I was waiting for my son to get out of school there were a couple boys wrestling around. This guy grabbed one of the kids by the neck, pushed him against a car and said some nasty things to the boy then went back to work like nothing happened. If you're going to employee people like this maybe don't have them working next to the school. I did report the incident to the school.
Thanks for saying I didn't know the facts. Probably just your guys trying to cover for each other. I was sitting there the whole time and saw the whole thing. If the bigger boy was bullying the smaller one then the little one would have probably been grateful to your employee. After the incident they were comforting each other as they walked away. YOUR EMPLOYEE WHO IS A GROWN MAN HAS NO RIGHT TO PUT HIS HANDS ON CHILDREN

One star is too much. They are rude and dont give a dang if they are parked and blocking the sidewalk. When you tell them you are disabled and they are forcing you to go in the road, they laugh. They secretary is state of the art worthless. Avoid this company where money means more than people

They didn't do what they said they were going to do. I have stopped by there office 3 times asking the owner to call me. I have emailed them asking the owner to call. Have not heard back. Also they killed a plant from the exhaust from there truck. I would never use them again. Every single person I talk to i will tell them not to use them

This company performed work affecting my property without providing the legally required notice, despite having a duty to notify neighboring property owners when their work impacts adjacent land.

Throughout the day, their crew blocked the public sidewalk in front of my home and placed tools and equipment on my property in front of a clearly posted No Trespassing sign.

When I contacted their office, the receptionist stated that someone would be sent out to address the issue. No one ever came, and the situation was never corrected.

The conduct on site was disrespectful and careless. I personally observed an employee kick a trash can into my retaining wall, causing damage. After the crew left, my property was left littered with cigarette butts and trash, and my retaining wall was splattered with mud and wood chips. This mess was left in front of my home, not in front of their client’s property.

The crew also left well over a thousand pounds of debris resting on my damaged fence, creating a serious safety hazard and additional damage risk.

I have been in construction for years and have never seen a company operate this sloppily or unprofessionally, especially when working near property lines and public access areas. Their actions created unnecessary legal issues and demonstrated a complete lack of respect for neighboring property owners.

Based on this experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering this company to carefully supervise their work and understand the risks involved. Based on what I saw, I would pass.
